“We’ve arrived at our destination” The driver announced.
Liam looked out to see they truly arrived. He gently tapped Kadence’s cheek, waking her up. Kadence fell asleep and throughout the journey and he couldn’t get his eyes off her.
“Are we already there?” Kadence muttered and pouted, slowly waking up.
“Yeah, we’re here. Let’s get off the bus” Liam replied.
She yawned and rubbed her eyes then nodded. Liam got down the bus and helped her down. She squinted her eyes as she stared at where they were.
Everywhere was surrounded by tall trees and some sound of errand birds could be heard chirping around here and there.
“Here’s what we’re gonna do. I’m gonna pair each and everyone of you in groups of two.” Coach Travis said and began reading out their names.
“Liam and Kadence” He read.
“Yes!!” Kadence jumped happily but held herself back when she noticed some stares on her.
“Emma and Maya”
“Zara and Eric”
“Nancy and Gideon”
Coach Travis made sure to pair them such that each human was with a supernatural.
“Now this is what we’re gonna do. They’re three objects you have to get in this forest. A red flag, you have to catch a butterfly with eyes drawn on its wings and a pinecone. Get those things before three hours are gone. The first team to get here wins a VIP ticket to any concert of your choice” Miss Lucy said.
Kadence clapped her hands and jumped excitedly.
“We need to win this game” Kadence said to Liam.
“h@ťě losing…” Liam shrugged with his hands in his pockets.
“Three…two…one…Go!!” The teacher said.
They all dispersed to diverse directions in search of the objects.
“Yuck!! Mud, h@ťě mud!!” Ava said, cleaning her shiny boots.
“Well let’s just persevere.” A student said climbing up the tree…
……
“Have you seen anything?” Liam asked.
“Yeah, I think I saw something. Caught it!” Kadence replied.
Liam Placed her down by the waist. Kadence turned to Liam with her hands closed. She slowly opened it.
A scream erupted her lips as a bat flew off from it. She fell down out of fear. Liam couldn’t help but burst into fits of laughter.
“Seriously Kitty. You’re that scared?” He said while laughing.
……
“Did you tell them about what your original plan is?” Miss Lucy asked, slowly eating the blueberries.
“Nope, they’ll never accept to follow me if I told them that it’s a mission” Travis replied.
“But their lives are in danger” Miss Lucy said…
“Yeah. I trained them and I know they’re strong enough to protect themselves that’s why I paired each and everyone of them like That” Travis replied.
“Can’t believe I was paired with you” Maya rolled her eyes.
“You think I wanted it?” Emma said and scoffed, searching for some pinecones.
Maya sat down when she got tired. She could clearly see the limits of the forest. Beyond it was real danger. Well that was for the human…
She scoffed when she saw Emma walking away.
“Hey, wait up for me!” She said, following behind her.

“Finally found this red flag!” Connor exclaimed.
“Wow, that’s great!” A girl with whom he was paired with said and blushed while arranging her hair.
Connor looked at her then sighed. Another series of his crushes.
“I’m tired of these girls already” He thought and sighed, continuing his search already.
…….
“Yea!!” Kadence jumped when she picked the red flag.
“Nice, remaining the butterfly” Liam smiled and took it then kept it in the cross bag he was wearing.
“Come, I know where we can see it” He held her hand and led the way. Kadence looked at their hands and then at his face.
“I can clearly hear your thoughts!” Liam said and smirked.
Kadence blushed and hit his arm then frowned…

Zara was seated on a rock while Eric did all the job. She was busy looking at the time, calculating when their plans would begin.
“Her Zara, why don’t you help me instead of sitting there staring at your phone” Eric frowned.
She ignored him. She doesn’t know why but since he rejected her she started developing a certain kind of hatred towards him.
“It is time” Zara thought with a smile on her lips.
She stood up and stylishly looked around. Some sounds were clearly heard from afar.
“Do you hear this sound?” Eric asked her….

“Hurray! All the elements are complete. Let’s go back, the ticket will be ours!” Kadence rejoiced.
Liam nodded and jumped down the tree he was sitting on. Suddenly, out of nowhere two people appeared in front of them.
They smirked at them then their eyes turned to red.
“Vampires” Kadence muttered.
Liam looked at them with a frown on his face. The vampires began adding to their numbers, slowly surrounding the forest.
“What’s happening?” The girl who was with Connor said and was behind him.
“Nothing special. Please go and hide in that cave. Do not come out unless I tell you so” Connor said.
“I believe in you so alright” She said and ran away.
Connor glared at the vampires then stood at attention.
The vampires were many in their numbers where Kaitlyn was and she was being paired with Romeo and Lisa.
“Follow us without resisting and I promise there’ll be no blood bath” A vampire said.
“Over my dead body” Kaitlyn smirked and brought out two daggers.
Romeo immediately turned to a werewolf and growled menacingly while looking at the vampires.
Lisa already created water balls which were floating beside her ready to attack if they made a move.
The vampires launched at them and a fight quickly began.

“Quick, Coach Travis said we should hide. That’s part of the test” Emma said to the humans who were with them.
They nodded naively and ran away to hide. Emma turned and almost immediately, the vampires arrived in her direction.
“Our highness asked us to personally ki|| you. We don’t know why but his orders are our desires” The vampire said and launched at Emma.
“Let’s see about that” Emma smirked and encircled them in a ring of fire.

The vampires all dropped dead before Liam as he held a very angry look on his face. Kadence looked at him in surprise. He didn’t even move an inch but they were all dead.
“Come let’s go” He held Kadence by the hand and began walking away. The vampires slowly vanished away.
Kadence looked up at Liam and could see a tamed rage behind those eyes of his. What really got him that angry?

Coach Travis burnt down all the vampires to ashes. Yeah, he is a fire bender too.
Once the coast was clear, he helped Lucy out of her hiding.
“Are you sure the students will survive these attacks?” Lucy asked.
“I’m sure of it. They’re tough and strong and also, I need to find out who is the snitch in our school. I think I have an idea on who it is” Travis replied.

Emma walked away with a cool expression on her face as the vampires all burnt to ashes. They were no match for her…
“Where’s K-d?” She thought and began searching for her in the forest.
Liam strangled the vampire and then snapped his neck before dropping it down.
He turned and cupped Kadence’s cheeks scanning her through. She’s also been fighting on her own side.
“Are you okay?” He asked softly though she could see he was still furious for who knows what.
“Yeah” Kadence replied, looking into his eyes. She’s really having a serious impression of ‘Deja vu’
Liam pulled her head closer and softly pressed his lips on her forehead. That made time stop for Kadence, her eyes almost fell off.
Zara hissed from where she was looking at them.
“Why is she still alive?” She thought angrily and vanished away.
Liam pulled away and held her hand before leaving with her.
The students slowly assembled round the bus with some breathing heavily out of fatigue while the others really enjoyed the trip.
“So where are the three things I asked of you” He asked
Kadence and Liam were the only ones who succeeded in gathering all of them.
“Good, you guys won. I’m sure you learn a lot of things from this trip.” Travis said metaphorically.
“Yeah” The supernatural were the one who replied the most.
“Good let’s get going so that you’ll have enough time to prepare for the ball tomorrow” Coach Travis said.
They began entering the bus one by one. Unknown to them that Travis succeeded in catching a vampire alive. He chained it up and kept it at the back booth…
The driver roared the engine to life and began driving back home…
