The classroom door bursted open and I looked up immediately, he is not here yet
“Are you expecting someone?” Kyle said making me turn to face him
“Can you just mind your business?” I glared at him
“I guess your crush isn’t here yet”
“And how does that concerns you?”
“He doesn’t like you, you are just forcing yourself at him” he said looking at my said keenly as if searching for something
“He likes me!”
“He doesn’t,I’m just giving you a piece of advice as a friend”
I scoffed loudly, did he just say friend?
“Are we friends?”
“Then what are we?”
“You are just an unfortunate being sitting with me” I replied and his eyes widened in shock
“At least I’m hundred times better than someone begging for love”
My heart bled at what he said, am I begging for love?
“Do I look like someone begging for love?prove it to me” I drawled
“Okay. When he comes in, he will ignore you. You always go to him right?let him come to you this time but if he doesn’t then he does not like you”
Justthen the four opened and Tracy came in with Alex and Tyler. I looked at him expectantly, will he come to me?What if he doesn’t like me?
Tracy came over while Alex walked to his seat without even sparing me a glance. I turned to look at Kyle who had a smug smile on his face. He is right,I’m the desperate one.

“Good morning” Tracy greeted taking her seat. I flashed her a sad smile
“What’s wrong?” her expression boring concern
“Am not fine down here” I bit my lips touching my chest.
“Did Alex say hurtful things to you?”
“He doesn’t like me,I’m just like pest to him” I whimpered sniffing in repeatedly trying to prevent tears from falling
“It is fine,I’ll talk to him” She held my hands rubbing it slowly
Mr Glen entered the class with a smile on his face

“Attention class” He said into the mic
“The mathematics competition is tomorrow” he added

?Thank goodness,I’m not among the representatives
“Why are you just telling us now?” Kyle said with a frown lingering on his face
“I love surprises” was the reply he got
“So representatives, see me in my office after school”
I turned towards Alex’s direction, he was whispering something to Tyler with a smile on his face.
His gaze locked with mine and he winked at me making my heart skipped beats. I looked away instantly, I have to stop myself from liking him,I need to.
Gavin Pov?
“Sir, someone is here to see you” The secretary said into the intercom device
“I don’t want to receive any visitors”
“Gavin, can we talk?”I heard Karianna’s voice making my eyes widened
Why is she here? I was about replying her when Crystal came in and grabbed the phone from me. She hanged up the call also. What will I say to her now?
” Sir, should I let her in?”The secretary called out making me jolt out of my reverie
“Sure”
The door opened immediately and Karianna came in. I quickly stood up from my seat
“Gavin” she called in a soft voice advancing closer to me,I felt my heart thumping hard
“Am sorry for running away,I was just scared. I love you” she added
I swallowed into nothing, she loves me?
“Am I too late?” she added when she noticed I’m not replying her.
“You are not, my love for you is still intact”
She smiled broadly before jumping on me hugging me tight
“I was scared, why did you hang up?” she pouted
I grabbed her closer by her waist making her gasp
“I’ve also wanted to do this”
I slammed my lips on hers immediately

“Can we go on a date?” Derrick asked making me sigh deeply
“I have to prepare for the competition” I answered with my gaze somewhere else. How can I afford to look at his face?
“I can help you prepare, please just give me a chance. Besides,I have something to tell you” he said taking my hand
Can’t he try to understand me? I have to be ready for the competition.
“You can just tell me here” I drawled

Tyler grabbed my hand interrupting him. Derrick glared at him taking my second hand
” We have to go now”He said and pulled me from Derrick’s grip
He took me out and made me enter his car
“What was that?” I questioned glaring at him
What will Derrick think now?How will I explain it to him later?
“Why were you talking to him? You even allowed him to hold your hands”
