“I’m sorry I hugged you without your consent ” Desmond apologize as he disengaged from the hug
“It’s fine” she said, walking away shyly
Is she Sera by chance? He thought as he watch her leave
“Jasmine Pls wait ” he said running after her
“You shouldn’t be like this.. I understand you did that because you never wanted to take a walk with her” Jasmine said
“and I understand you” she added
“What if your girlfriend caught us in that position, what do you expect me to do? Pls excuse me ” she said
“But you never wanted me to go have a walk with her.. you were bothered, your mind wasn’t at ease. And again, I have no girlfriend” Desmond finally said and Jasmine stood still
“I’m serious… He added walking closer to her
“What of Jenny?” She asked lowly.
She didn’t know what came over her but that moment Rachel walk up to Desmond, she felt jealous for a reason she didn’t know
“She’s just a friend though I wanted to ask her to be my girlfriend today but.. Desmond pause and looked at her
“Jasmine” Sandra called, coming to meet them
” What’s going on?”
“Nothing, we need to go now. Dad will be here soon” Jasmine said grabbing her hand
“I doubt that… He won’t be coming” Desmond spoke up
“How did you know that?” Sandra asked and immediately Jenny and Michael appeared
“Just my instincts” he shrug
“It’s late, I’ll be on my way” Jenny said and drove off
Desmond was being too friendly with Jasmine and she didn’t like it
“Get in the I will drop you at Sandra’s place then” Desmond said and Michael took the front sit while both girls sat at the back sit..
*Few minutes later*
“Thanks for the ride” Sandra said with a smile as they alighted from the car
“How did you know our place? Cus I remember not telling you where we live “Sandra raised a brow at him
“You did,, you must have forgotten ” Desmond lied
“Anyway You’re both welcome” Michael waved
“And you are?”Jasmine asked
“Michael… Desmond’s brother”
“Ah! Okay then see you tomorrow” Sandra said
“Good night.. jasmine wave
“Jasmine?.. Desmond called and she turn to him quickly
“Can I have your number? We’re friends right?. Don’t get me wrong, it’s just… as friends ”
“And who told you I’m your friend? Jasmine asked folding her hands
“Are you still mad at me for calling you my girlfriend earlier?” Desmond asked and Michael’s eyes widdened
You called her your girlfriend?Are you crazy? Michael snap in his head
“Your phone” Jasmine requested and Desmond gave her his phone
“Good night” she said after typing her number on his phone and walking into the house
“Let’s go” Desmond said and turn the ignition on
“Who is she?” Michael asked as the drove down the road
“I’m not sure.. I need to comfirm it.. I think there’s a connection between us”
“You mean jasmine could be Sera?” Michael asked
“I’m not certain. I will confirm it soon” Desmond replied
“What about Jenny? Michael asked
“I will handle Jenny myself” Desmond replied as he speed off

Larry’s mansion
“You’ve been smiling since” Sandra said sitting on the bed
“What do you mean? Jasmine asked
“Oh!! Did he kiss you?” Sandra asked
“Of course not” Jasmine replied quickly
“Your cheeks are red”
“Wh@ťěver” Jasmine shouted covering herself with the quilt
“Do you love Desmond?” Sandra asked
“I don’t know” She replied, sitting up
” I guess you like him” Sandra said
“You don’t h@ťě me? For liking Desmond”
” Why should I? You think I like him too? She asked and Jasmine nodded
“I don’t, I never did” Sandra said
“I think mom and dad won’t be coming home today” Sandra sigh and a message suddenly popped up on her phone
“Omg Jasmine!! We got the admission” Sandra screamed showing jasmine her phone
“Omg!!” Jasmine screamed and they started jumping on the bed happily
? I’m home already.. take care of yourself and My regards to Sandra.. good night..
A message from Desmond! Wow.. he will surely make a good boyfriend.. Sandra said showing Jasmine the message
? Okay, good night ..Sandra sent
? Alright Sandra.. extend my greetings to jasmine” Desmond sent back and Sandra gasp
“What’s wrong?”Jasmine asked
“How did he know it was me who replied the message” Sandra exclaimed.
“Maybe his instincts” Jasmine shrug
“That aside, Gosh we did it” Sandra resume screaming while jumping on the bed happily

“Gosh, I’m bored.. I wonder when mom and dad will be back” Nirvana thought sitting on the couch
Her phone suddenly rang and she picked up though it was an unknown number
? Nirvana Luther on the line” Nirvana said
? Hey Nirvana, it’s James
? James? From GV band?” She asked unbelievably
? Yeah.. I miss you that’s why I called
Are celebrities allowed to miss someone? She thought and looked at the number again before putting the phone close to her ears again
? Why would you miss me? And how did you get my number? Nirvana asked
? Can’t I miss a friend?
? Last time I checked, we didn’t sign a friendship contract, so you shouldn’t be mi.. Nirvana couldn’t complete her statement when the door bell rang
? Excuse me, I have something important to do” She said and went for the door
“You didn’t tell me you were coming fool” she said
“I wanted to surprise you barbie… And you should be happy I came because you look like someone who’s about to die of boredom” Aliya said, walking fully into the house
“It’s late, why are you here? Is something happening? Mr Smith and his wife travelled? Nirvana asked forgetting the fact she was on call
“Not really, I actually took permission from them and I will be spending the night here” Aliya said happily
“Go back home, I don’t need you here” Nirvana said and Aliya sigh
” And I was thinking both of us could go clubbing at Elvis Presley (Ep) club” Aliya pouted sadly
“Really? Thank goodness. I’ve been bored since we left school today”
“But since you don’t want me here, I will be on my way home” Aliya said and made to walk out
” let’s go paint the club red” Nirvana said holding her back and Aliya shriek in excitement.
“Then I’ll be meeting you there” James said at his end before ending the call
