Dami sat at the reception waiting for Ryan as he talked with the cops.
They had earlier asked her for her statement regarding the incident and she told them all she had gotten from Chelsea the previous night.
Luckily, Chelsea had told her before they came for her statement.
She looked at the wheelchair and sighed.
Never in her life did she imagine that she would use a wheelchair one day.
She had to use it for some time, luckily the damage on her legs isn’t that bad.
The hospital discharged from the hospital.
Ryan finally finished talking to the police men and went to meet her.
That was a long discussion, she mumbled.
Of course it had to be. That bastard had the guts to come again, they have to catch him by all means, Ryan said. Dami scoffed.
What’s wrong? you don’t think they will catch him?, Ryan asked.
Nothing, are we leaving or not?, she asked. He scoffed
Are you ready to leave?, he asked.

Ryan rolled his eyes and began to push the wheelchair.

What now?, Ryan frowned.
What of Granny? If she sees me in this condition, she will definitely know what happened, Dami said.
I told her last night. Don’t bother let’s just go home, he told her.

Dami!!, Granny cried as soon as they came out from the cab. She had been sitting front of the door waiting for them.
She rushed out and went to meet them.
Dami what happened to your legs, Granny cried.
Granny it’s okay, she’s fine now. She will just use the wheelchair for few days, Ryan said. Granny hugged Dami immediately.
Granny, Dami sniffed.
She had missed being in Granny’s arms badly. She couldn’t believe it’s been four months already.
Just like that? How did the time run so fast?, she thought.
Granny pulled away and faced Ryan.
I know you were lying to me for days. You lying brat!!, she cried.
Granny I am really sorry about that, can you forgive me?. I just didn’t want you to worry, Ryan said.

Granny I am sorry. Can’t you forgive me, he pouted. She scoffed.
Huh what were you doing? Look at your hands!! Didn’t I ask you not to cook again?, Ryan snapped
Did you prepare any food for me?? What did you expect me to eat!!, Granny scoffed.
You can buy food! Don’t enter the kitchen again, I am telling you now!!!, Ryan snarled.
Why would I buy??? I only like home made food!!!, Granny snapped.
Fine then stop cooking. Come with me so you can rest. I will complete it, Ryan said.
But I want to cook for Dami, Granny frowned.
Dami and I had lunch before coming, so don’t worry. Now come with me, Ryan said pulling her inside.
Ahh this kid!!!!!.
Dami come inside too!!!!!, Ryan yelled.
Dami sighed.
It had really been four months. Four months of not been Dami.

Her mind went to Miles.
How was he? Was he still having those nightmares? She really missed him, she missed their fights and quarrels. She smiled sadly.
Then she turned her wheelchair around and wheeled herself to the bridge. The bridge wasn’t that far from her house but it was a long journey though.
She stopped at the bridge and stayed there for a while.
It’s being quite a long time, she muttered.
You shouldn’t be here, she heard someone say. She turned immediately.
She needed no soothsayer to tell her who it was, regardless of the fact that he was wearing a mask and a cap.
But what was Miles doing there??.
He walked to her and stood before her.
How could you be so careless? What if that man comes back?, he asked.
Oops she had totally forgotten about that.
How could she be so careless??.
He sighed and shook his head.
What about you? Why are you here?, she asked. He didn’t reply her instead he looked at the water.
Are your nightmares back?, she asked. He chuckled.
Do you care about me?, he asked in return. She gulped.
Then did you come for Jewel?, she asked. He didn’t reply again.
Well I just wanted to tell you not to blame yourself for Jewel’s death. Chelsea told me what happened.
You are a victim too, why blame yourself. Your nightmare is because you feel guilty and you torment yourself.
If you stop tormenting yourself and learn to forgive yourself. You will definitely move on and stop having nightmares, Dami said.
Jewel isn’t dead, he muttered.
Huh??
What do you mean?, she asked.
Jewel is alive but I don’t know where she is, he replied. Dami clenched her fist.
You really came here for her then, she murmured.
And my nightmare last night was different. It seems like there is something I saw but I can’t remember.
I don’t know if I lost part of my memory but I know something is wrong, I am…….
Just stop, she said cutting him off. He looked at her.
We don’t know each other from today, she said.
What do you mean?, he asked in confusion.
I don’t want to meet or talk to you again, she said.
Why?, he asked.
Because I want to forget my life as Chelsea, Including the people I associated with, she replied.
But I wanted to talk to you. I wanted to talk to someone, he said.
The real Chelsea is back. If you need someone to talk to, you can talk to her, Dami said.
Who said I wanted to talk to her?, he asked.
Just leave, Dami mumbled.
Why are you pushing me away?, he asked.
You said not to meet or talk again, have you forgotten?, she asked.

I want to move on from you. Don’t try to make it hard for me, she said.
But why? Why are you trying to move on from me?, he asked.
Shouldn’t I?, she asked in return.
I came here for you. I wanted to see you, he said.

Dami, he called.
You said it yourself you never liked me, she mumbled.

I really don’t want to associate myself with you again, Dami said.
I thought you cared, he mumbled.
I once cared but not anymore!, I am tired of having you around so just leave okay!!!, she snapped.
And with that she began to push her wheelchair away. Miles stared at her sadly.
Can I really let you go?, he asked

Happy opened the door and looked around.
Her eyes fell on Pablo who was sitting on the old sofa inside the house. It seemed like he was dozing off.
Seriously?
I thought you didn’t need me, She said loudly. Pablo spranged up immediately.
Happy!, he called in shock.
Security conscious my @zz, she scoffed and came in closing the door behind her.
Just slipped a little bit. Doesn’t mean I wasn’t conscious, he said.
Wh@ťěver, why did you call me?, she asked.
Did you do what I asked you to do?, he asked.
Mission accomplished. Kimberly can’t get out of it, Happy replied. Pablo chuckled.
I will be needing your help now, He said.
Really?? I thought you said you didn’t need me at all, Happy scoffed.
Not like I have choice, Pablo scoffed.
Don’t tell me you failed, Happy laughed.
What’s funny!, Pablo snapped.
Fine then tell me. Jewel is really alive right?, where is she?, Happy asked.
Do you really expect me to tell you?, Pablo scoffed.
How can I work with you when you can’t trust me!, Happy snapped.
Really? Do you even trust yourself with the secret?. Jewel is your friend, Chelsea is also your friend and that Ace too. You also have a life now.
For me, It’s the only way I can survive!, Pablo snarled. Happy hissed.
Daniel came in at that moment.
Daniel?, Happy gasped
Nara, Daniel called smiling.
It’s been a long time, he added.
You guys are working together?, she asked. Daniel nodded.
Wow I thought he left the both of us back then, turns out you were still in touch with him, Happy chuckled.
We met early this year, Daniel said.
Well then how did the both of you fail in your plan?, Happy asked.
We kidnapped the girl but she escaped from us, Daniel told her.
You kidnapped her???, Must you go that low!!, Happy asked.
What other choice do I have?, Pablo snapped.
Then what makes you different from Krystal?, Happy asked.
How can you compare me with that Ɓîtçh!!!, Pablo snarled.
We have another option now, Daniel said. They both turned to him.
I heard Mr Gomez is back, He blurted out.
Yeah I saw him, Happy said.
Why didn’t you tell me!!!, Pablo snapped.
You never asked me!!, Happy snarled. Pablo chuckled.
Anyway I guess we have another move. The game gets more interesting, he smirked.
