“Did you plan on spending the night in Oliver’s restaurant? I kept calling you but it was switched off.”, He said as soon they got to the car.
“Oliver said that you enjoy his company, what do you guys talk about anyways?”, He asked holding her hand.
“It’s just normal stuff, I also enjoy your company.”, She replied.
“I’m jealous of your closeness.”, He admitted.
“Are you jealous of the fact that I’m close to your best friend or because your best friend is close to me?”
“Both.”, He said as he drew her closer.
“Why are you looking at me like that?”, He asked.
“I just realized that there are a lot of things, I don’t know about you. I want to get to know you Finn.”, She said and he pecked her on the cheek.
“What don’t you know about me? I am not someone that you need to know inside out, I’m just simple.”, He said.
“It’s late, let’s go.”, Finn said and they walked towards the car.

#Nextday!
After max returned from school, Elise visited again and as usual max just ignored her as usual.
Daria was quite happy that Finn wasn’t paying much attention to Elise.
Elise was trying hard not max wasn’t giving her the attention she wanted then she thought of gaining Finn’s sympathy.
“Finn i know how much I have hurt you so much and that’s why I’m here to ask for your forgiveness. Henry had deceived me, he made me believe that he loves me so much but at the end he cheated on me and hurt me countless times.”, She said as she bursted into tears.
“Henry has sent me here just to make you uncomfortable and miserable but believe me I want you back, I want things to go back Normal and I promise you that I have changed for the better.”, She said as she hugged Finn and burst into tears.
“Elise I have moved on and I think you should too, if Henry hurts you so much then you should just leave him and start afresh.”, He said trying to push her off him.
“I have no place to go and no one to return to, I only have you and max, my only family.”, She said.
“You should have thought of that before abondoning that same family, you are only Max’s mom not my wife anymore and i thought you that I would only allow you to see max since it’s your right as his mom but you have no right trying to use max to get back together with me.”, Finn said.
“I know you love me too and I love you genuinely and I promise not to hurt you the way I did.”, She said.
“That was before Elise, I have moved on from you.”, He said.
“You are lying, it’s obvious you still have some feelings left for me, you might not say it but I know you still feel something for me.”, She said confidently.
“Pity! I only pity you and show concern.”, He said and walked away.
“I won’t lose you and max to an outsider, I will make sure I have you both all to myself. I know I made a mistake but everyone deserves a second chance.”, She thought.
“Son come here!”, She called max and max just stared at her.
“I was calling you max or are you still mad at me? Your dad is still mad at me even after I made it clear to him that I am a changed person.”, Elise said as she walked towards max.
“If you are still mad at me, what do you should I can do to earn your forgiveness?”, She asked.
“You left dad for uncle Henry right?”, He asked ignoring her question and Elise froze.
“How on earth did he know? Or did Finn tell him?”
“You left dad to suffer for years and you left him to take care of me alone. I was blaming him for your disappearance and I always thought that he never loved me until I realized that you are a bad person, you wanted to ki|| me.”, Max said as tears rolled down his eyes.
“Who told you that? Was it Finn? Oliver? Helen? Or Daria?”, She asked.
“Is that what is important? Why don’t you answer his question? You should deny it if all what he said isn’t true.”, Daria said and max rushed to hug her.
“Daria please take me away from her, she might want to ki|| me again. I only want you and dad.”, He said.
“You told him, didn’t you? You knew that he was going to go soft on me since I am his real mom and yet you decided to tell him things of the past. You are despicable Daria, you don’t deserve Finn and max.”, She said.
“I am despicable? You are only describing yourself, you don’t even have any right to say that I don’t deserve Finn and max. You were the one who lied, cheated and manipulated Finn just because you were aware of how much he loved you, you are the despicable one here.”, Daria replied and Elise grabbed her hair.
“Everyone makes mistake and I did and now I am here for forgiveness but because of you, Finn and max are having a second thought. I told you that I was also deceived, I thought Henry truly loved me but he only used me to get back at Finn.”, Elise said till holding on to Daria’s hair.
“Well that is not an excuse for your foolishness, you were just greedy that was why you fell into Henry’s trap.”, Daria said and she increased her force and pulled Daria’s hair.
“Let go of her!”, Max yelled as he bit Elise hand and she immediately jerked her hands off Daria’s hair in pain.
“I see that you both ganged up against me.”, Elise said.
“You should just leave, no one wants you here.”, Max said.
“Dad this woman doesn’t want to leave.”, Max said to finn who just got to where they were.
“Elise you should just leave, you have no family here.”, Finn said.
“So it’s because of this crazy lady in front of me? Max, you don’t want your mom anymore? Finn, this is elise, the woman you loved very well and you were willing to do anything for.”, Elise said as tears gathered in her eyes.
Finn only looked away, he didn’t want to change his mind just after seeing her show some emotions.
“Once I leave here, I’m not coming back. I will be leaving forever Finn, I will never come back.”, She said and when no one said a thing, she walked towards the door.
Finn thought of going after her but he dismissed that thought immediately, it was better she leaves so that he can completely get over her.
“Uncle Finn!!!”, Frankie screamed as she entered the house with Henry.
Elise froze immediately seeing Henry and he just smirked as he walked past her.
“Uncle Finn”, Frankie called again as she went to hug Finn.
Frankie is Henry’s younger sister, Henry was living with Texas before he disappeared with Frankie together with Elise and now they are back.
“Frankie! How are you? I am just seeing you after five years.”, Finn said as he hugged Frankie back.
He might not get along with Henry but Frankie has nothing to do with wh@ťěver issue they have with each other.
“I’m good, when my brother said he was coming back to Texas, i had to beg him to allow me to come with him. So i will be living here abd bw schooling here.”, She said happily.
“That’s good, I thought you wouldn’t come back here. I’m sure you have missed max so much, he had missed you too.”, Finn said and Frankie turned to max.
“He’s so big now, he was three years the last time I saw him. How are you dear cousin?”, She asked as she hugged him.
Though max didn’t recognize her since he was just little then but he felt comfortable with her.
“Frankie, you should talk to max inside. Finn and I have things to talk about.”, Henry said and Frankie and Max went inside.
“Henry! I’m done with all your deceit, I’m leaving you forever. I was just so stupid that I didn’t realize that you were just using me.”, Elise said and Henry turned to her.
“Don’t paint me as the bad person, we are the same.”, He said.
“You are a liar, I h@ťě you so much.”, Elise said and left angrily.
“Why are you here? You got what you wanted didn’t you? You wanted to see me suffer by taking Elise from me and you succeeded. You won but just keep in mind that I have gotten over her.”, Finn said.
“Hey Finn! We are seeing ourselves after five years and I didn’t even get a hug or anything, is that how you welcome a cousin?”, He replied.
“You know …!”
“I will leave you two to talk.”, Daria said trying to avoid being seen by Henry but it was too late.
“You are …”, Henry said pointing at Daria. He was trying to remember where he had seen her face before.
Daria hurriedly left to avoid being recognized by Henry, she finally met the person she has been avoiding.
She quickly got to her room, locked the door and burst into tears.
