“The real mate is HEAVEN” Artemis concluded and Lamia could feel something heavy hit his heart.
The door opened revealing Natasha in tears,she heard everything.
“Tasha” Lamia called in a whimpering voice,
Hot tears also rolled down his eyes.
Natasha turned and ran out of the room. “Tasha!” Lamia ran after her immediately. She kept on running till Lamia caught her and grabbed her arm.
“Tasha please……”
“Let me go,please” She muttered,hiding her face from him.
“I can’t,let’s talk at least……”
“About what exactly? You heard your granny,you and I…..I think this is the end now. I know alot about mates,you can’t avoid it no matter what,I don’t think I want to be the reason why” Natasha said.
Lamia shook his head and wiped her tears.
“I’m sure something can be done,I’m confused too. I don’t know what to do at this point,but if you also start ignoring me,I might just loose my mind” Lamia said and Natasha kept on crying.
“Let me go for now….please” She said and Lamia released her hand slowly,she turned and ran off. Lamia bite his lips and returned back to his room,Artemis was still there,sitting down comfortably.
“What was that about? You knew she was right there while telling me all that……”
“She have to know and stop clinging unto you…..”
“She’s not the one clinging unto me!” Lamia yelled.
“Can’t you see?? I’m the one clinging unto her,I’m the one who can’t let go of her,I’m not ready to do that,I’m the one who’s going to loose my f-__-king mind if she start giving me the silent treatment,can’t you see that at least?” Lamia asked.
Artemis stood up,facing Lamia.
“Then learn how to stop,focus on your mate and what we are planning” She said.
“No,I’m not focusing on wh@ťěver you call mate” Lamia shook his head and Artemis glared at him.
“What do you mean by that?” She asked.
“I’m rejecting…..” A slap from Artemis landed on his cheek before he could finish.
Lamia looked at her in shock.
“How dare you!!!! You’re about to embark on the journey your father embarked on and it destroyed him!!!” She yelled angrily and a sudden wind threw Lamia off his feet,he would have landed on the floor heavily if he hadn’t used his power making him stand balancely.
“Reflect on yourself and feelings before coming to meet me” Artemis said and vanished.
Lamia fell on the floor and broke into tears.
“Lamia” Eugene entered,he immediately closed the door and rushed over to Lamia on the floor.
“What happened?” He asked,Lamia looked up,tears still rolling down his eyes.
“What should…..I do now?” He asked brokenly.
Eugene sighed and pulled him into a warm hug even though he had no idea what was going on.
“I thought you don’t cry,since you act strong all the time. But it’s okay to cry,so cry all you want,I’m here” Eugene muttered,stroking his hair.

Summer was walking alone,kicking a stone as she moved just along the riverside until she caught a glimpse of someone sitting down,from the back view and hair,she could tell it was Natasha.
She wanted to turn back and leave but then she heard the sniffs and sharp inhale and exhale of her breath which made her curious.
“Is she crying?” She started walking closer slowly and as she walked,the sniffs became loudly. ‘She’s really crying’ Snummer said inwardly. She got to her and took a seat beside Natasha whose head was buried in her legs as she cried.
“Hey” Summer called.
Natasha slowly raised her head up and their eyes locked.
“What…….” Summer stops and sighed out,seeing the way her eyes was red only means it’s something serious so she wanted to speak nicely at least.
“What happened?” She asked.
Natasha started wiping her tears.
“It’s nothing” She muttered.
“You mean you’re crying over nothing? Only idiots does that” Summer said.
Natasha bite her lips and started crying again.
Summer sighed. “Tell me,even though we are not close,I have to hear what happened before I decide if I want to console you or not” She muttered.
“He’s….finally going to leave me” Natasha said and Summer raised her brows but she caught up quickly.
“Did something happen between you two?” She asked.
Natasha sniffs and continued. “I overheard the goddess,telling him that his mate is someone else…you know what that means,I will never have a chance with him,He’s never going to look at me again once the mate bond is fully activated,I just don’t want to think about all those things happening” Natasha shook her head side ways.
“Who’s the person? His mate” Summer asked.
“Heaven” Natasha answered and Summer gasped.
“That’s crazy” She muttered and faced Natasha again.
“What about Lamia? How is he feeling right now?” Summer asked.
“I don’t think wh@ťěver he’s feeling would help,it’s meaningless at this point. Very soon,he will become attached with her,thinking about that alone is driving me nuts” Natasha said.
Summer sighed sadly and touched her hair.
“It’s okay,I understand how you feel but…..crying won’t solve anything” she said but tears kept on falling from Natasha’s eyes.

LAMIA’S ROOM**
Eugene and Lamia are both sitting down next to each other on the floor,Lamia already stopped crying and he had explained what happened to Eugene.
They both sunk in the silence for minutes until Eugene finally spoke up.
“So,what’s the plan?” He asked,looking at Lamia who just shook his head.
“I have no idea” He muttered.
“Are you going to tell Heaven? I think she have to know” Eugene said.
“I know….I also know I’m not thinking straight right now,but I know for sure that I have no such feelings for her..not even once have I ever thought of spending the rest of my life with her,I just like her,I can’t tell why I like her but I do like her just like I do for everyone” Lamia mumbled.
“And Natasha?” Eugene asked.
“She’s different” Lamia breathe out.
“She gives me this peace of mind,even though she’s the sassy type and doesn’t fail to say wh@ťěver is in her mind not caring if it hurts or not,she always show me that she cares,she’s super encouraging and……she’s always part of my life even if I don’t want her to be part of it,she really grow on me and I don’t think I ever wanna loose her. I might loose my head along with it” Lamia said.
“I know the feeling,even if you don’t say it,I understand” Eugene said and sighed out.
Lamia placed his head on Eugene’s shoulder and closed his eyes.
“I thought you don’t like it when I do this…..”
“Shurrup ” Lamia muttered and Eugene chuckled.
“Everything will be fine” Eugene said,touching Lamia’s hair.
……
It was so silent along the villa passage way,it was partly dark but even at that,Sadie was sitting down there alone,drawing. After she finished drawing the fifth one since just about ten minutes ago that she had sat down there,she sighed out loudly.
“What’s going on?” She muttered as she stared at all the five drawings,why are they all about Lamia,Heaven and Natasha??
“Did something happened?” She asked herself and then closed her book.
Damon suddenly came into the villa from the wall,he was shocked to see Sadie.
“What are you doing here?” He asked and Sadie gave him an intense look.
“How long have you been sneaking out?” She asked.
“Am I supposed to answer that? What evidence do you have?” Damon asked.
Sadie scoffed and opened her book backward,she raised it up and showed Damon what she drew few days back and that was what happened just now.
“Really? Is there something you don’t know?” Damon asked.
“You don’t know who you’re dealing with” Sadie smirked and Damon chuckled. He sat down beside her.
“Where did you go to? Greene city?” Damon nodded and she went on with her question. “Why?”
“Blood” Damon replied.
“You didn’t hurt anyone right?” Sadie asked.
“I don’t think I did” Damon said.
“Your canine is still out,am I safe?” Sadie asked slowly.
“That’s because I starved myself to much,what are you saying? I don’t think your blood will taste good” Damon said.
“What do you mean?! My blood is the sweetest…..” Thatcher’s appearance made her stop talking,Damon looked back and their eyes met.
“I’ve been looking for you,I went to your room too” Thatcher said.
“Ah…..I came here to draw and take in fresh air” Sadie explained.
“Let’s go,that’s enough” Thatcher muttered.
Sadie packed her books and got up,she followed Thatcher.
“What was that? *Let’s go,that’s enough* and she followed him just like that?” Damon soliloquized looking confused.
“Were you planning to give him your blood or something?” Thatcher asked after walking for a while.
“What do you mean?” Sadie asked.
“I heard your argument with him,I wonder when you two started talking” Thatcher said.
“It’s not what you’re thinking,I just happened to catch him sneak back in” Sadie replied and Thatcher rolled his eyes.
“I’m serious” Sadie said.
“Fine” Thatcher muttered.

9PM★NATASHA’S ROOM**
*Knock*
Natasha was just coming out of the bathroom when she heard that,she walked straight to the door and opened,the moment she saw Lamia,she closed it back before he could even talk.
“Tasha!” Lamia called,knocking the door.
“Just leave me alone Lamia please” Natasha said.
Lamia appeared into the room.
“Hey!!” Natasha yelled,he ignored that and hugged her tightly. She stood still without moving.
“I missed you” Lamia uttered,still hugging her.
“I’m just in a towel” Natasha mumbled and Lamia quickly moved back.
“Why are you here?” She asked.
“I…the…no…my granny…” Lamia groaned When he couldn’t find the right word.
“You will get used to……” Natasha stopped and Lamia looked at her.
“Why did you stop?”
“Because I shouldn’t be telling you all that” Natasha replied.
“Why not? I always want to hear you talk,wh@ťěver”
“Why are you here,I need to sleep”
“She insisted I move into a suite and….I finally did.” Lamia says and Natasha nodded.
“I want you to be the first person I will take in there”
“Stop doing this Lamia,stop acting as If everything is fine” Natasha said.
“That’s the truth,because everything is fine. I don’t want to think about anything right now Tasha,I just want to keep on spending time with you,I don’t care wh@ťěver is going on……”
“You’re making a mistake” Natasha said and turned to walk away.
“Tasha…..” Lamia immediately hugged her from the back.
“Fine,I will see and leave immediately” Tasha said.
“I don’t mind” Lamia moved back.
“Wait outside,I want to get dressed”
“Don’t take too long” Lamia told her before going out.

LAMIA’S NEW SUITE**
“Wow” Natasha muttered and Lamia smiled as they walked into the suite.
It was so big and arranged neatly,the bed was totally beautiful just by looking at it,the dimmed light makes memories.
“I’m jealous of you now” Natasha said cutely making Lamia chuckle.
“that’s why I brought you here first” He said.
“What use is that? You will spend most time with your mate here” Natasha mumbled.
“I wasn’t planning to do that” Lamia said and she faced him,Lamia moved closer to her and pulled her hair backward from covering her face.
“I don’t think I can do that” He said.
Natasha swallowed and bite her lips.
“I don’t want to be the reason why…….” Lamia cupped her cheeks,interrupting her. Natasha froze,staring at him closely. Inwardly she wanted to push him away and run out of the room,but she couldn’t.
It was as if her body no longer listens to her,and slowly Lamia lean more closer,his lips almost met with hers when suddenly the door burst open,Lamia let go of her and they turned to see Heaven glaring at them angrily.
“What are you doing here?” Lamia asked looking surprised.
“When were you planning on telling me?” She asked and Lamia raised his brows.
“What are you talking about??…….”
“You know what I’m talking about! Did you really kept it from me because of her? Did you??”
“How…how did you…..”
“I told her” Artemis entered.
“Granny!” Lamia shouted.
“You can’t keep it from her forever son” Artemis said.
Heaven turned to Natasha.
“You’re really a Ɓîtçh like i assumed,you knew what was going on but you still sneaked in here with him?”
“Watch your mouth” Natasha snapped.
“How dare you talk back!!” Heaven yelled and rushed toward her,she wanted to hit her but Lamia came in front of Natasha and grabbed Heaven’s hand.
“Let go of me!!” Heaven screamed.
Lamia released her hand,but it was kind of too rough and she fell on the floor.
“Ahh!” Heaven let out a painful whimper.
Immediately,Lamia felt a sharp pain in his chest and he held it.
“Lamia!” Natasha rushed to him.
“I’m fine” Lamia muttered as the pain started going.
Artemis moved closer.
“You really think you can hurt your mate and not regret it?” She asked.
Lamia and Natasha looked at her.
“That’s one of the work of the mate bond,you will feel her pain,this is just a little bit of what will happen” She said.
Natasha bite her lips to hold back her tears,she quickly ran out.
Heaven also stood up and left.
“From now on,if you make her cry,you suffer for it in a painful way,that is why I don’t want you to end up like your father!! Why can’t you just listen to me and accept your fate?!!”
“f-__-k wh@ťěver the fate is!!” Lamia yelled back and his eyes turned green.
“I don’t care how hurt it is,I don’t care how painful it is,as long as I’m the one feeling the pain,not Tasha…then I’m never giving up” Lamia said and walked out.
“Tasha” he called as he ran,looking for Natasha.
“Tasha…..” He saw her walking slowly,nobody has to tell him that she was in tears. He quickly ran over to her.
“Stop crying…..please” He muttered and wiped her tears.
“Let’s stop here,I don’t want you to keep on getting hurt because of me,you know how much I h@ťě it…. ”
“You have no say to this Tasha,I’ve decided and I’m not backing out” Lamia said.
“Why? Give me a reason why you’re hurting yourself just because of……”
“I love you” Lamia said and Natasha froze unbelievably.
“I don’t think I can keep that in any longer,I’m in love with you….Pretty witch” Lamia muttered.
