CHAPTER FORTY- TWO & EPILOGUE: EVERY
BEGINNING HAS AN END
George frown and fold his hands while
he listen to Monica words ” don’t you think this
is wrong?” She look at me ” you keep putting the
couch at the wrong position”
” Monica”
” Here ” she tap her foot on the position she
wants it and I just stood there, staring at her ”
this will be the perfect place.”
” You do know that all you do is just to nag at
me right?”
” Maybe if you do it properly I won’t nag at you ”
Moving closer to her direction, I grab her hands
and pull her closer ” what are you doing?” Being
pregnant have really made her more cranky and
annoying.
” You do know that ” I lean close and notice how
her face heat up, just like always ” instead of
using that mouth to nag…you should just gag
on something else ” placing her hand on my
Ç0çƙ, her eyes widen.
She clear her throat ” not now ”
” But we can always set the couch some other
day ” I lean close, kiss her neck ” what do you
say ” her face heat up before she nod.
” Just one round ”
” Good girl ” lifting her up, I walk back to the
bedroom and $h|t the door.
Lacey remain seated
while Arthur cooks, it’s been three weeks,
Monica wedding already happened but I
couldn’t even attend it due to my condition. The
moment I even returned home I remember
staring at the floor, bottles of alcohol
everywhere.
It then hit me, the whole time I was in coma, he
kept drinking, must be why he lost so much
weight ” Arthur?” I mumble and he look at me ”
are you okay?” I asked the moment I notice him
staring at nothing, what is he thinking about?”
” Am fine?”
Watching him go back to cooking, I decided to
stand to my feet and move to the living room,
the sound of my phone ringing alerted me,
picking up the call I mumble ” dad?”
” How are you feeling?”
After waking up, we both reconcile… I still h@ťě
him but it’s better than fighting over everything,
he is still old and am sure will be dying soon
anyway ” am okay”
” Don’t forget to pay me a visit and remember”
he mumble ” if you get sick of that man, you
can always come home ”
” Thank you”
” Lacey???” Arthur worried voice, made me cut
the call, he have been acting this way, always
want me in his sight, is he scared that all this
might be a dream? ” Lacey!!”
Rushing to the kitchen, I notice his worried gaze,
he widen his arms and I hug him ” where did
you go?” He asked, breathing calmly.
” My phone was ringing ”
” Don’t leave my sight like that ” wrapping my
hands around his body, I h@ťě myself, h@ťě
myself for making him feel this worried.
” Am not going anywhere ” I reply, withdrawing a
little and looking at him ” I promise ” even after
hearing about my miscarriage, I didn’t feel pain,
not enough pain I felt when I saw how Arthur
has suffered without me ” you might die without
me ”
That was meant to be a joke but he nod ” I just
might ” his hands slowly cares my cheek ” I
never thought I will love someone as I love you…
what did you do to me lacey ” I smile ” am crazy
over you ”
” It’s all because am pretty ” winking at him, I
watch him chuckle
” The food is ready” he smile and kiss my
forehead ” set the table ”
” Okay ” walking towards the dining room, I set
the plates, the forks, spoons and then hurried
back into the kitchen, hugging Arthur from
behind.
” Are you that hungry?”
” Yes ” he hold my hand and pull me forward,
making him to be the one hugging me from
behind, my cheeks heat up when he kiss my
neck ” tell me ” he scoffed ” are you still not
feeling well?”
” Huh?” I gasp
He press his bulge on my arse ” it’s been two
months lacey, I know you need rest and am sure
you have rest enough, so can’t we….” He clear
his throat, I look back, our eyes meeting ” let me
make love to you ” it was the first time he said
that….it is usually, let’s f-__-k but this time he
wants to make love.
” Am hungry ” I smile and watch him frown in
frustration ” let’s eat first ” rushing back to the
dining room, I sit down while he brought over
the food, my mouth water at the sight of the
chicken soup….who would have thought that
Arthur knows how to cook.
” Eat ” he gives me a go ahead and I begin to
eat, it feels like I have been starving for ages, I
lift my gaze and notice him staring at me.
Arthur watch her, I have
been seeing her eat for weeks but that isn’t
enough, all that isn’t enough for me, how long
has it been since I touch her? Almost three
month now but these days I can’t think straight,
she keep on putting on these provocative dress.
The worse part of all these, is the fact that she
keep vanishing out of my sight, that is
something I don’t want nor do I need, I want to
see her, want to see her talking, eating and of
course touch her.
Just to be sure that am not dreaming.
” Arthur?” I watch her furrow her brows ” why
aren’t you eating? You need to gain your weight
back, eat up ”
” Yes ma’am” eating, she stood up and I look at
her confused
” Am going to bed, do not come in a hurry, take
your time ” she gives me warning ” if you come
to bed early, I will hit you ” I nod, hiding my
laughter ” good ” I watch her rush upstairs and I
smile.
The joy of having her back in my life is
amazing. Am thankful.
Drinking water, I look at my watch, already
seven in the evening, what could she up to?
Standing up, my phone buzz and I pick it up ”
hello?”
” You do remember the exportation of drugs?”
George mumble and I nod.
” I do ”
” I have Intel that police are onto us ”
” Am sure we have more gunfire than them
right?” I asked, moving upstairs and opening the
door, stepping in, I shut the door and turn on the
light only to stare at lacey laying down on the
bed naked.
” Yes” George reply but I couldn’t think properly
right now, I lower my gaze to her Břě@šť, liquid
chocolate placed on her Ɲīpplë, I watch them
drop to her stomach.
Her legs separated, face flushed while she
widen her arms ” Arthur?” George voice brought
me back to life.
” Just take right decision, I trust you ” I didn’t
wait for his reply before cutting the call,
dropping the phone and taking off all my
clothes, I join her on the bed, she wrap her legs
around my waist while I th-ru_st in, slowly, my
gaze not leaving hers.
Being fully buried in her, I lean down and lick the
chocolate, giving each Břě@šťs their special
treatment ” I can’t wait anymore ” I look up and
stare at her flush face ” please…..daddy ”
” f-__-k ” I growl, I want to move so bad but no, I
need her to beg, to get more wet for me ” lacey,
you’re being just a bad girl ”
” Punish me ” she beg ” please ” that’s all it took
for me to embrace her, the only sound one could
hear in that room, was that of our Mõ@ɲs.
Oh God, I love this woman, I couldn’t think of
anything else than how much I love her,
everything about her ” you feel so good ”
breaking from the kiss, I stare at her ” so f-__-king
good”

” Oh my god!!!!” Lacey yell when Arthur almost
drop the new plates she bought ” you have to
hold that carefully”
” Not if you keep nagging ” he growl, frown
creep into his face ” you do know we can
always buy a new one ”
” These are my favorite!!!” A tear drop from my
eyes and I just couldn’t help but to cry, being
pregnant is not easy, the hormones keep getting
worse ” how can you think of breaking them !!!”
” Arthur!!!!” Monica walk in and $h00t him a
glare, it just turned out that I will be getting
married to Arthur tomorrow and that to on this
beach island ” stop making her cry!!”
” It’s just a plate ” he growl and drop them
carefully” happy now? ” I nod and he pull me
close ” stop crying, I won’t ever break them, it’s
my fault ”
” Promise?” I look at him and he nod his head
” I promise sweethearts” kissing her forehead,
George voice startled us from outside.
” You guys should hurry out here, it’s almost
twelve”
” Let’s go ” Arthur held my hand and we move
towards the ocean, George already set the fire
while we sit round it, I look at Arthur, happy we
will be starting the next year together, will be
married and a couple.
The moment twelve hit, I stare at the rockets at
the sky and how people yell, happy….my gaze
slowly move to meet Arthur who have been
staring ” hi” even after all these time with him, I
still feel shy most times.
” Silly ” he chuckle and pull me close ” happy
new year ” looking at him, our lips engage…the
kiss was slow, sweet and tender ” I can’t wait to
wife you up ” he kiss my cheek ” my lovely lacey
”
” You have to be a good husband ” I smile and
he nod his head
” Definitely ” he kiss my cheek ” I will take good
care of you ” his lips move to my ear and I
chuckle ” I love you lacey, so much ”
“I love you too ” I bite his neck and Monica yell
” Go get a room!!!”
Laughter fill the whole place, I look at Arthur one
more time, how he and Monica keep on arguing,
I watch different emotions play on his face, time
has really passed and I just can’t help but to
keep loving him.
Holding his hand, I gain his attention before
kissing his lips, I withdraw and look at his shock
expression” I love you ” his cheek change color a
little before he cover them with his hands, I
chuckle.
