Mica’s POV
I kept hearing noises, and whispers from people. I wondered why the noise. There was never so much noise in the mansion. I thought as I opened my eyes slowly.
The first thing I saw was blue curtain and why is that. My room curtain is never blue.
“Mica! “I heard someone call me.
Turning around to the direction of the voice I saw Clara staring at me.
“Clara!! What happened to me?? Where am I?? “I asked trying to sit up but sge held me back down.
“Calm down and stay calm, you were operated on and this is a hospital . Don’t force yourself to sit up “she said.
“I will inform the doctor, that you’re awake”she added and left.
As she left I wondered why what am doing in a hospital bed. I remembered going to the club to retrieve the stolen goods. Then… Then.. Then.. Oh.. No.. I was shot. I remember.
The door opened immediately abd Clara and the doctor entered accompanied by a nurse.
The doctor came and started checking me as the nurse scribe wh@ťěver on a notepad.
“How are you feeling now?? ” he asked.
“I’m feeling better”I answered
“A day or two, you will be completely fine”he said as he showed me his gap teeth.
“I will be on my way now, take care”he added.
“Did the goods get to master Kebby safely”I asked Clara immediately the doctor left.
“Yes”was all she could say.
Why is she moody??
She doesn’t talk much but few days with her, I know she is not herself.
“Are you okay?? “I asked.
“Yes and stop asking me questions “she rasped.
“Oh… Okay”I replied.

Kebby’s POV
I drove all the way from the mansion to the hospital in a high speed. I wondered why am going to the hospital.
About 20 minutes later, I was at the hospital due to the high speed. I couldn’t proceed into the hospital as I sat in my car for several seconds.
After hesitating for minutes, I came down and went straight to the doctors office. Why am I behaving strangely??? When I got there I knocked and his tiny voice spoke up.
“Yes come on in”he said and I entered immediately wanting no one to see me.
“Look who we have here. What are you doing in a hospital Kebby? The last time was when you got shot”he said
“Stop your nonsense please, am not here for that”I replied.
“Am just surprised and today isn’t your check up day. So what can we do for you?? He asked as he adjusted on his sit smiling mischievously.
“You took bullet out of some lady a while ago, right?? How is she?? “I inquired.
“Yes, I did. Why asking?? You never care for someone “he asked instead.
“Just answer me, no one is caring for any one. Understand?? “I groaned.
“She is okay and will leave by tomorrow after checking if everything is perfectly fine. So you’re here for her?? ” he asked smiling.

” I know you got a gap teeth, could you quit smiling “I rasped.
“Are you here for her?? “he asked again ignoring me
“For Christ sake yes!!! “I screaming at him.

“Can I go now??? “I asked standing up.
“Are you leaving without seeing her?? “He asjed instead.
“Am not here for her and hope you didn’t reveal about the payment part – I mean the bills”?? I asked.
“What!!! You should have told me that you wanted it kept secret. I told Clara immediately the payment was made. The lady was so worried about the bills so I have to tell her”he replied.
“What have you done?? You know me since childhood. You know I don’t like people knowing about me publicly.”I rasped.
“You should gave told me, you wanted it secret “he said.
“Why are you such a wide mouth??? With that said I stormed out of his office praying inwardly not to bumped into Clara.
I can’t take the embarrassment.
