💵CHAPTER 27&28💵
After hearing the fact that his mum had taken
his brother to the city hospital
June ran like a mad dog all the way from
school, he didn’t even think of taking a cab or a
bus.
All he thought of was to make sure his brother
was alright and nothing serious had happened
to him
June ran almost up to 200 miles to the city
hospital, one could imagine the distance
between the school and the city hospital
He ran into the hospital almost in tears, he
didn’t even feel a single pain in his legs because
all he was thinking was Windey
He met his mum talking to the doctor.
“Mum” June said to her breathing heavily
The doctor left the two in order to attend to
other patient
“June, why are you sweating?” Sasha asked him
“I ran from school to this place” June said
breathing heavily
“What? You did what?” Sasha exclaimed out of
shock
“Don’t you realise the distance and why didn’t
you take a cab or a bus?” Sasha asked him
“I was so worried about Windey that I forgot to
take a cab” June said breathing heavily
“OMG! Do you feel pains in your legs?” Sasha
asked already getting worried
“No, I didn’t even care about that in the first
place, it was as if I was flying as I ran” June
said
“Funny boy, anyways your brother will be fine”
Sasha said
“All he needs is rest and quietness” Sasha said
“Really?” June exclaimed
“Yeah! Just that he is a bit sick” Sasha said
“Can I at least see him?” June asked
“Not yet, he is resting and needs no disturbance”
Sasha lied, she couldn’t let June see Windey’s
blue eyes
She was scared of what June will think of
Windey if he finds out his brother was a
vampire
“Sit here” Sasha said to June
June sat in a bench close to them
“I will be back with some drugs” Sasha said
June watched his mum buy some drugs and
came back to him with a bottle of water
“Take two pills in order for you not to feel pain
in your legs” Sasha said
June took two pills and drank some water
“You should go back to school” Sasha said to
him
“Alright mum, I will leave now” June said as he
stood up
“Take a cab or should I ask the driver to drop
you at school?” Sasha asked him
“I would rather take a bus” June said
“Why take a bus?” Sasha asked
“I don’t know maybe because Bae always uses
bus for transportation” June said with a smile
“Bae?” Sasha exclaimed
“Yeah! The beautiful angel” June said with a
smile
“Bye mum” June said and left
Sasha stood at the same spot lost in thought
💭 “Bae? Windey always think of her all the
time and now June, I hope my sons won’t
become enemies because of an ordinary girl”
“Anyway I won’t let that happen, it’s a good
thing Windey is betrothed to beautiful Jenna”
Sasha concluded in her mind
She walked into Windey’s ward and asked him
“Young man, can’t you control yourself?”
“I refused to allow the doc treat you because of
your d@mn eyes which have decided to remain
blue” Sasha said to him angrily
“I didn’t even let your brother see you because
you have completely failed to control your
powers” Sasha almost shouted at him
“I knew June would be very worried once he
hears what happened to me” Windey said
“I just hope he didn’t ran all the way from school
to this place” Windey said
“Wow, nice one? At least you know you made
your brother run all the way from school to this
place” Sasha said almost angrily
“Mum! Come on! June & I care about each other,
we might fight all the time but we still love each
other” Windey said.
“If June was in my condition be expecting me to
do the same for him” Windey said
“Am a bit happy that my sons love each other”
Sasha said with a smile.
“Just try and control your powers, at least make
that blue eyes normal again” Sasha
commanded him.
“How?” Windey asked
“Just take a deep breath, close your eyes slowly,
blink it twice and open it” Sasha said
“Will it work?” Windey asked
“Of course, I have seen other vampires do the
same” Sasha said
“There are other vampires, I thought I was the
only vampire” Windey exclaimed
“No! There are good and evil vampires out there”
Sasha explained
“But destiny will make you meet them in a tricky
way and in a dangerous way” Sasha said
“I don’t understand” Windey exclaimed
“Time will tell! Just let destiny do it works”
Sasha said
“Now practice what I told you” Sasha said
Windey took a deep breath, close his eyes
slowly, blinked it twice and opened it
“That’s my baby” Sasha said as it worked
Windey’s eyes were normal again
“You can call the doc to treat me now” Windey
said

Devon & Kion walked down the hall lost in
thought of the whole situation
The two were as confused as anything
But Kion was the most confused one, in fact
totally confused
“I am so confused on how to find out who is
prisoner” Devon complained
“This is like movies where we have two
suspects or should we start checking Jenna &
Ish profiles” Kion said in confusion
“That’s a good plan, Kion” Devon praised him
“It is” Kion exclaimed, he only said what he felt
like out of confusion
“You are a genius” Devon said
“I am” Kion exclaimed more confused
“Let’s check their profiles” Devon said
“We should” Kion exclaimed out of a confused
mind
“Let’s go” Devon said
Kion ran with Devon but they eventually
bumped into a student
She was Ann close friend and she hadn’t been
in school for a long time
“Isay” Kion & Devon called out her name in
surprise

Emily walked into the company looking segzy,
just to impress Tale
She wasn’t watching where she was going until
she bumped into the cleaner
And the cleaner fell flat on her chest, she was
an old woman between the age of 80 to 85
She was the only one who cared for her
grandchildren ever since her children died due to
poverty
“Stupid! Old fool! Are you that blind?” Emily
shouted at her
But the old woman didn’t respond or get up, she
just lay flat on her chest
All the staffs curiously gathered in shock trying
to get what happened
Kary noticed the scenario and ran to the old
woman
She tried waking her up but she didn’t wake up..
“What have you done?” Kary asked Emily angrily
“She is just pretending so that I could have pity
on her and give her some money” Emily said
chewing her gum loudly
Zoan noticed all that was happening and ran
towards Kary & the old woman
She raised the old woman up on her arms and
checked her breath only to notice so we wasn’t
breathing anymore
“I think she is dead” Zoan exclaimed
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” The staffs exclaimed
out of shock
Fear gripped Emily, as it finally dawned on her
that it wasn’t a joke but reality
