“Then we teach you morals,is very simple”Kenn shrugged with a smile but what happened next left them all in shock.
Vanessa burst out into an uncontrollable cry with her voice really loud and real tears rushing down her cheeks.
“What’s with this one?”Kenn asked in between laughter while the rest folded their hands under their chest, looking at Vanessa unbelievably.
What and why on earth is she crying? They didn’t touch her,did they?
Vanessa wiped her tears,then climbed down from the bed and began picking the packs and all the stuff she littered around.
After she was done,she sat down on the bed then took her phone before calling her dad.
📞”Good evening dad”Vanessa greeted the moment he picked up.
📞”How are you doing Nessa?”he asked and Vanessa shook her head.
📞”It’s terrible here. They all wanna murder me”Vanessa said and looked at tony and his friends.
“Kai,una say wahala be like wetin again?”Kenn asked in shock.
📞”Why would they want to murder you Vanessa huh? That’s not going to happen”
📞”It’ll only be possible if you let me come back home,dad I won’t survive here”Vanessa cried and her dad exhaled heavily.
📞”You’ll survive okay. I’m busy now,I have to go now”He said,and before Vanessa could protest he hung up.
“Phew!!”Vanessa hissed and laid down on the bed.
“Guy’s,what should we cook please?”Mariam asked the others.
“Spag is okay. Ion for others”tony shrugged.
“Abeg cook anything,as long as it’s eatable”Kenn said.
“Let’s go with spag please. Kenn is not a reasonable person”Amanda scoffed and Tessa smacked her head.
“Ouch..”She winced.
Mariam and Tessa entered inside the kitchen to prepare the spaghetti while the rest stayed in the room discussing. Vanessa already slept off.
The two girls came back after 30 minutes, already done with the food preparation.
“All done”Tessa smiled after setting it on the table and Kenn pulled out a chair.
It was actually dished in one plate, they’ll eats together in one plate whenever they wants to eat,and they all are around. That’s how close they’re.
“Foodie comrade”Victor teased Kenn.
“You can call me that again”he smiled and the rest chuckled.
“Won’t she eat?”Tessa asked.
“Ion,you can try your luck”Tony told her.
“That’s bad”Amanda shook her head.
“Please, you’ll should stop already na,not like she’s going to eat anyways”Mariam rolled eye and the rest began laughing.
“Something is smelling”Kenn said, knowingly.
“I know right? It smells like jealousy”Tessa added with a smile.
“She can’t be jealous na,is she dating tony? Hell no!!”Amanda asked and replied immediately.
“Yes, we’ll know she’s not dating him but she really has a crush on him”Victor nodded.
“Can we eat in one piece?”Tony asked them and they looked at him before bursting into laughter.
“My guys head don dey swell cos she’s crushing on you. Chai,you that look like Monkey. I wonder what she saw in you”Kenn laughed and the rest joined him,tony only rolled eye and they continued eating while chatting.
Vanessa woke up from sleep cos of the noise coming from them. It was really unbearable and disturbing her peaceful sleep.
“Can you all bring your voice down? I’m sleeping and the noise is just too much”She told them calmly and Mariam hissed.
“As?”She asked and Tessa touched her.
“She’s right,the noise is too much”Tessa said and Mariam rolled her eyes at her.
“So we can’t chat cos of her?”She snapped angrily and the rest shook their heads.
“Mariam,she’s sleeping and the noise is disturbing her. All we have to do is bring our voices down”Amanda added and Mariam hissed again.
“We’re sorry dear”Tessa smiled and Vanessa scoffed, before closing back her eyes.
“Did you see that? She actually scoffed”Mariam said angrily, pointing at Vanessa.
“Mariam! Take a chill pill for once please”Kenn told her.

Vanessa yawned tiredly after waking up from sleep.
Surprisingly, Tony’s friend have all gone back and Tony is the only one left. He was reading a book when Vanessa woke up.
She sat on the bed, while looking at him.
“You’re awake?”Tony asked her, without looking at her.
“I guess you’re not blind”She replied and Tony nodded.
“Your friends?”She asked,after a few silence between them.
“I guess you’re not blind”Tony replied and she scoffed loudly.
She climbed down the bed,then went to the bathroom. She came out after few minutes and sat down on the bed again. Tony wasn’t looking at her,he was still busy reading.
“Hey!!”Vanessa called.
“Tony!”Tony told her.
“What?”She asked.
“Tony is the name”Tony repeated.
“Wh@ťěver. Ain’t you gonna tell me to eat?”She asked slowly and Tony lifted his face from the book.
“Excuse you? Can you repeat what you said?”Tony asked her.
“I mean, won’t you tell me to go and eat?”she asked and Tony shook his head, before taking back his gaze to the book in his hand.
“When you’re hungry, you’ll eat”he told her and Vanessa rolled eye secretly at him.
“What did you make?”She asked.
“Spaghetti”Tony replied him and Vanessa twitched her lips.
“Oh..I mean pasta”He told her and she nodded.
“Can I have some?”She asked again.
“I never said you can’t”Tony replied and she nodded before going into the kitchen,she dished herself some and came back into the room. She began eating slowly while looking at tony occasionally.
“You could have woken me up today”she said, trying to start another conversation.
“You are going to do that yourself”tony replied her.
“I’m not used to doing that, and I don’t like missing school”she said again and Tony exhaled.
“Then you have no choice than to learn. It’s simple”He shrugged and Vanessa scoffed.
“How will I do that huh?”she almost yelled,but asked calmly.
“I advise you set an alarm, it’ll help you I believe”Tony replied and Vanessa nodded again.
She stood up from the bed,then went back into the kitchen before Keeping the plate in the sink.She came back and sat down.
“Did you wash the plate?”Tony asked and Vanessa whined, knowing what was going to come next.
“I didn’t and don’t tell me to”She replied and Tony looked at her.
“I’m telling you already,go and wash it”He told her and she groaned.
“I’ll do that tomorrow”She replied and Tony kept the book on the table, before looking at her. His hands was folded under his chest.
“Vanessa,now is the best time. Go wash it then I won’t bother you again”Tony smiled and Vanessa rolled eye.
“You think you’re going to get me by laughing handsomely huh?”She scoffed still sitting down.
“Wh@ťěver wh@ťěver,just get your lazy @zz up from that bed and wash the plate”tony told him.
“I’m not lazy”she replied.
“I know,so prove me wrong”tony told her and she exhaled before standing up while tony smiled.
“Good girl hmmm?”He gave her thumb up, Vanessa only scoffed before leaving.
She went into the kitchen,then stood and began looking around.
She clapped her two hands together,like someone who remembered something.
“He thinks I’m lazy? I’ll prove him wrong”She smiled but sighed immediately.
“This is too difficult”She groaned and took the plate, then turn up the tap.after she was done washing,she wanted to keep the plate back but it slipped from her hand mistakenly and shattered into pieces.
Vanessa screamed out in fear,which got tony running into the kitchen.
“What happened and how did the plate Break?”tony asked her.
“I only wanted to keep it back but it slipped and broke”she said and began crying confusing tony.
“Are you used to crying unnecessarily?”he asked her,but Vanessa only kept crying.
“Pick up the broken plate”tony told her and tried walking away.
“I can’t. I really can’t”Vanessa shook her head, still crying like a baby.
“Well,you can”Tony told her and Vanessa continued crying.
“I just h@ťě it here. I’m forced to do things I don’t know how to do”she sobbed and slowly squatted down,she began picking the broken piece slowly while tony stood looking at her. She tried taking another piece,but the sharp edge of the piece slit her on her index finger, making her Yelp out in pain.
“Mommy!!”she cried and Tony only scoffed, thinking she was acting but the moment he saw blood tickling out of her finger,he rushed to her immediately.
“Are you okay?”he asked her.
“How can I be okay when I just injured myself?”she snapped angrily and Tony sighed.
“Be more careful next time”he told her and stood up.
“Is that all you have to say?”Vanessa asked.
“There’s a first aid kit in the room,you can use it and attend to the wound”he told her and walked back in.
“This guy is not a human! Ah!!”she winced and managed to pick the remaining piece

Vanessa has already dressed her wound,she’s sitting on the bed but she suddenly stood up walked towards tony and sat before him.
“I wanna have a word with you”She began and Tony nodded, nudging at her to go on.
“I don’t want to see your friends here,ever again!!”she said and Tony’s eyes widened.
What’s she saying? That his friends can’t come to his lodge again?
“What do you mean?”He asked.
“I mean,your friends are prohibited from coming to this lodge,this room precisely”
