“I wanted to come ask for something but I guess
I came at the wrong time. Sorry” Aneesa said
and before Drew could touch her, she left the
place.
He turned to Tanya and Quincy angrily and only
his eyes alone made them flinched.
“Fine! You wanna stay here! Then stay, I’m
leaving!” He yelled at them.
He went back inside and got his shirt. He wore it
back before leaving his longue.
Tanya and Quincy turned to look at themselves.
“Gawd, have I been this stupid?” Quincy hissed
and started leaving.
“Drew!!!” Tanya called.

“Where are you going?” Abigail immediately
blocked Axel’s way when she saw him about to
leave.
“What?” He blinked.
“Don’t you wanna talk about us?” She asked
innocently and he let out a sigh.
“Can you stop talking about that?earn how to
move on will you?” He said and she scoffed
silently.
“Move on? Is that easy for you to say!?” She
shouted at hi, trying to fight her tears.
“You made me love you and you gave me false
hopes and because of who? Aneesa!?” She
shouted again.
Adrian heard her shouts and came out but they
couldn’t see him cuz he kept his distance.
He stood still, watching them.
“I didn’t give you false hope! Not all feelings are
mutual Abbie…”
She slapped him!
“Don’t call me that!”
“Listen, I know it hurts. I can’t reciprocate your
feelings no matter what. I’ve tried so many
times back when we were in Australia but I
can’t. Ever since what occured between I and…”
“Harmony!” She cut him off and he bit his lips.
“This is getting interesting” Adrian mumbled,
folding his hands as he continued watching
them.
“After breaking up with Drew’s sister cuz you
found out she was a sickle cell and you didn’t
want anything to do with her anymore!?” Abigail
shouted at his face and he cussed inwardly.
“Abigail…”
“You’re heartless Axel! Yes, what you said it’s
correct. The heart can’t be controlled. I regret
falling for you. I regret loving you after seeing
you do those hurtful things to Harmony in the
past. I wish I could just stop my heart from
doing so but it’s difficult” She sobered.
“So difficult” She muttered.
“I’m sorry” He blurted out.
“Sorry? You’re just sorry? How dare you!?” She
shouted and started hitting his chest. He didn’t
defend himself. He just stood enduring what
she was doing to him.
He knew he hurt her in the past.
“Aneesa can never be with you!!” She shouted
and he started walking away. Not minding her
cries.
“Axel!!!” She cried out.
Adrian sighed softly before going back to his
room.
He shut the small door and closed his eyes.
“I saw this coming” He muttered.

SAMIRA’S DORM**
Aneesa came here immediately she left Drew’s
lounge and since she came, she’s been crying
her eyes out.
“That’s enough. You’ve been at it for the past
fifteen minutes now” Samira said, trying to
console her but she wouldn’t budge.
“It’s okay babe” Lyric said.
“You guys just don’t get it. I miss him so much. I
shouldn’t have tell him to stay away from me”
She said,admist tears.
Samira bit her lips hard immediately.
“I’m sure he will come back. Stop doing this to
yourself please” Lyric muttered sadly.
“I just wished…” She sniffed.
“I just wish I never came to VCSU. I wish I never
became a transfer student. I wish I never left my
dad. I wish I’d met my twin” She sniffed and
Samira’s eyes widened.
“Don’t say that. It’s all gonna be fine” Lyric said.
“You have a twin??” Samira suddenly asked and
Lyric glanced at her.
“Why…” Before Aneesa could finish, Samira
stood up from the couch and ran to her room.
“I’m starting to suspect that girl” Lyric muttered.
“Samira!!!”
“Samira!!!”
Aneesa cleaned her tears and went after her
friend.

NIGHT~FRAT HOUSE**
This was the only place Drew could think of
coming. He just wanted to get his mind away
from what was happening to him right now.
He wasn’t alone. He was with his friends.
Two ladies suddenly came to their table and sat
on Dylan’s lap. He began caressing them.
“Mhm” One of them Mõ@ɲed.
“Go get another table Dylan!” Nicole snapped at
him immediately and he stopped caressing
them.
The speakers booming with loud music that it
was so hard to hear each other.
Another one cane to their table to get a drink.
She turned her almost naked @zz towards
Cisco’s direction and tried seducing him.
He glared hard at the girl but she didn’t bother.
When she made to sit on his laps, he pushed her
away and pinched her face.
“Ahh!” She winced in pains.
“Stop it!” He fired and the girl took to her heels
immediately.
“Can you ever get a girlfriend? You’re always
mean to girls!” Nicole rolled her eyes.
“I’m not mean to girls. I just h@ťě cheap girls” He
replied and Nicole scoffed.
“So I’m cheap?” She asked.
“Maybe” He replied.
Drew stayed silent all this while. He was in his
own space of thoughts and their presence
doesn’t matter.
“Hey! ” Dylan called but got no answer.
“Drew!!!” Cisco and Nicole called at same time.
“What!?” He shouted and they blinked.
His eyes were so red that made Cisco more
confused.
“Have you been crying?” Cisco asked first when
he noticed it.
“What’s going on with you Drew!? Why are you
acting like this!?” Nicole asked but he didn’t
reply to any of them.
Dylan just sat down watching him intently and
he smiled knowingly.
Instead of replying, Drew stood up, grabbing his
phone and car keys and started walking out of
the frat.
“Drew!!!” Nicole called.
“Darn that guy!!” Cisco cussed, feeling a bit
angry.

OUTSIDE VCSU**
The night weren’t getting any younger. It was
slowly becoming Kate but Axel wasn’t bothered.
He just needed some fresh air.
Ever since Abigail said those words to him, he
hasn’t been himself again.
He dipped his two hands in his pocket and
started staring at the moon and stars,
reminiscing about his past with Harmony.
FLASHBACK~2 YEARS AGO**
“I can’t do this anymore!” Axel said, trying to
avoid cute Harmony’s gaze.
“Why? Don’t do this to me Axel… Please”
Harmony pleaded with tears but he wasn’t
moved by it.
“I just can’t anymore. I’m sorry if I’m hurting you
Harmony” He said again.
“Why!! Because you found out I’m a sickle
cell!!?” She screamed insanely with tears rolling
outta her eyes.
“Harmony…” He trailed, trying hard not to let out
his own tears.
“Is it because I’m too young for you!? I’m too
fragile!? Is it became you’re my brother’s closest
friend!? Just answer me!!” Harmony yelled.
She fell on her knees immediately as she
continued crying.
Axel made to lift her back up but she slapped
his hands away.
“Don’t touch me!! Jerk!”
“I h@ťě you!!!” She screamed at him and he
started crying.
“Harmony…”
“Just leave!! “
“Leave!!! “
END OF FLASHBACK~BACK TO PRESENT**
He didn’t even know when tears fell out of his
eyes and he quickly wiped it.
Drew had just drive back to the parking lot after
leaving the frat house.
He wanted to see Aneesa so bad. He couldn’t go
back to his lounge because only God knows
what he might face again with Tanya and
Quincy.
He was still walking when he came face to face
with Axel. Though Axel didn’t see him at first.
“Drew…” He called and Drew’s scoffed. He made
to continue walking again but Axel held his
arms suddenly and a punch followed next.
He punched him!
“Stay away from me!” Drew said h@ťěfully. His
eyes filled with hatred.
Axel smirked and wiped off the bloodstains on
his lips.
“Move closer to me again and I’ll give you more
than just that” He said again and Axel boldly
moved to him.
“You know why I haven’t raised my hands to
punch you back!? Don’t take me for a fool tok!”
Axel said and Drew got more infuriated.
“Bastard!!” Drew cussed.
“Well, we’re both fatherless” Axel said and Drew
punched him again but almost immediately,
Axel punched him back and Drew staggered.
“You see? You’re so weak like a chicken” Axel
grinned and Drew clenched his fist.
“Stop all this pretence coz you’re never gonna
have Aneesa! No way!” He shouted.
“My pretence? Look, I love Aneesa and I’m
gonna get her to myself” He replied and Drew
stared at him.
“And I know she likes me tok coz she doesn’t
wanna see you any where close to her again. So
tell me, what makes you think she’d choose
you?” Axel and smiled creepily..
“I’m never gonna history repeat two times. I’m
never going to allow you hurt Aneesa just like
how you hurt Harmony!”
“Now I know where you’re pained. Because of
Harmony…”
“Darn you!” Drew didn’t even give him the
chance to speak. He grabbed Axel’s collar and
collided his head to his making Axel’s head spin
on its own.
He let go of him and started out punching him
repeatedly. Axel successfully gave him a punch
and Drew staggered again
He took the opportunity and grabbed Drew’s
shirt before releasing his own blows on his face
and Drew’s lips bursted.
“Should I tell them how I ruined your life dear
friend? I should I tell them I was the reason why
you started putting on a mask on stage!?” Axel
said and laughed.
He was weak as well. Immediately Drew heard
those words, he stood back up and returned his
punch back at Axel whose lips bursted too.
“Cussed the day I became friends with you!”
“Cussed the day we both entered the music
industry together!”
“Cussed the day you dated my sister behind my
back even after warning you to stay away from
her!”
“Cussed the day you fooled us!” Drew screamed
and gave him the last punch before releasing
him. By now, his face were barely recognizable.
Ax suddenly started laughing despite his bloody
face and lips.
“I’ll have Aneesa don’t worry” He said and it
rang in Drew’s brain immediately.
He took a step away from him before running to
his dormitory.

A&A DORM**
Despite, his knuckles were bleeding sane with
his bursted lips, he didn’t care. He only wanted
to see his Baby Bird’s face.
He wanted to explain himself. He just needed to
talk to her.
One thing he h@ťěs most in life his sharing and
he wasn’t gonna let Axel take what doesn’t
belong to him.
He knocked on the door but go no response. He
knocked on it again but still the same thing.
He didn’t knock for third time before swinging
the door open.
“Axel are you…” Aneesa was about going to the
door when she saw him.
He was standing with bleeding lips as his eyes
never left hers. Her eyes moved to his bleeding
knuckles and to his lips then back to his face.
She ran to him despite the remaining meters
away from each other.
She jumped on him instantly. Hugging him so
tight that he began suffocating.
“Baby Bird” He whispered and she let the tears
she has been holding fall out of her eyes.
She missed hearing that name from him.
“Don’t stay away from me again. In fact
whenever I say something out of anger do not
listen to me again” She sniffed with tears.
“I don’t care if what we’re doing is wrong all I
know is that I want you to keep spoiling me.
Spoil me to the level that I don’t wanna be naive
again” She sniffed again and he smiled.
“I’m sorry too” He muttered.
He slowly pulled her away from the hug and his
eyes caught the necklace on her neck
immediately. He could remember she hasn’t put
on something like that before.
“Who gave you that?” He asked lowly. His gaze
still on the necklace.
“Oh this?” She muttered, taking in her lower lip.
“Axel got it for me” She said and Drew felt
jealousy run through his spine immediately.
Before she could blink again, he grabbed the
chain from her neck and tore it away from her
neck. Making to rolled on the fall as it shattered.
“Drew..!” She gasped but instead of replying, he
pushed her to the nearest wall. Covering the
distance between them.
“Just think about me and no one else” He
whispered. Her eyes moved to his still bleeding
lips and she swallowed hungrily and he
swallowed hungrier.
Both were staring at their lips looking for who
would go first.
Aneesa couldn’t hold it anymore. She caged his
neck before slamming her lips hard on his own.
They started kissing hungrily.
The blood on his lips mixed with her spit as they
continued kissing like insane people.
Their sanity running out of their veins as they
melted into each other.
