“Can I ask you a question? ” Ma’am Gina said as I assisted her in making snacks.
“What is that? ” I asked and she left what she was doing and then faced me.
“Can I trust you with him?” She asked and I was quite surprised she asked me that.
I opened my mouth to talk but she cut me off.
“I know I’m asking too much but You see, all I want is his happiness, He told me once that his life is boring, he really needs someone that can bring light into his dark world, he might be blind but trust me, he is the coolest guy I’ve ever know” She said and I sighed.
Truly, he is such a gentle soul, intelligent and handsome. And it hurts to think he has some people out there who are trying to hurt him. Those people who are his family are the one who wanted to hurt him.
“So tell me, do you like him?I can tell he does already ” She chuckled and I breathed out. I can’t deny it right, I like him too but I might betray him.
“Or are you just leading him without feeling anything for him, that might be bad” She sighed and I shook my head.
“No, I..i..do, I like him but… ” Just that Ma’am Gina is already smiling and I scoffed.

Not that I didn’t like him too but I’m scared of hurting him.

“Come on, let’s serve them the snacks” We walked out. We met Mr Vincent and Mr Ben chatting and laughing.
I sighed again, this isn’t right.
Suddenly, a knock came at the door and I walked up to get it. This rude sister of his!
“Huhn? segzy Secretary? You’re here? ” Rude kiddo, What is with them calling me names, Ma’am Gina too always calling me Pretty secretary.
“Ma’am Gina!!! ” She shrieked rushing to her and hugged her tightly.
“My baby” Ma’am Gina also returned the hug while I chuckled.
“Old Gaizer” She turned to Mr Ben and Ben rolled his eyes.
“Not again” He mumbled and she chuckled.
“Cute brother” She jumped on Mr Vincent and she twitch her ear as usual.
“Spoilt brat” He chuckled.
“Why is she here? ” She turned to me and scoffed before anyone could talk. Ma’am Gina spoke up.
“They are together” She said and my eyes widened.
“Mama” Mr Vincent called, probably surprised at her statement.
“Come on Amelia, I wanna show you something in my room” Ma’am Gina said and grabbed her arm while She looked at Mr Ben and they all disappeared leaving me with Mr Vincent. d@mn! This woman is trying to bring us together by all means.
“I guessed we are the only ones here now” He spoke and I chuckled.
“Yeah” I breathed out taking a seat beside him.
“I don’t know what Mama Is tryna do” He mumbled and I chuckled.
“It’s fine sir” I said and he chuckled.
“Stop using sir when we are alone or not at the office, Call me Vincent ” He said and I cleared my throat.
“You want me to stop using honorifics when we are not at the office? ” I asked and he nodded.
I guessed this is my chance.The mission is for him to fall in love with right? But what is not right here is that i’m also falling in love.
I summoned the courage and placed my hands on his as he tensed.
“Do you want me to be your light? I can be” I mumbled close to him and he swiveled his head to my direction.
“Skylar, You make me happy do you know? ” He said and I smiled. Maybe I knew already, Ma’am Gina told me.
“You got my boring life to be lively, you got me Smiling lately too” He said and I smiled more, it is so overwhelming hearing it from him. He smiled again and held my hand tightly.
“But I’m scared of being betrayed again” He mumbled with a sigh.

“Who is she? ” I asked and he huffed then sighed.
“She is Nina, She made me fall in love with her, got addicted to her but she left me, I thought she will be the light to my darkness” He mumbled squeezing my hand. It’s obvious, he was pained by it.
“So sorry about that ” I muttered and chuckled.
“As long as you are not going to betray my love for you then it’s fine” He gave me an assuring smile but here I’m scared I will end up breaking him again.
“I won’t hurt you never” I said and he kissed my hand while I chuckled.

I reached home with a heavy heart, I said Yes to his love but it was just a plan to accomplish my mission. I’m going to h@ťě myself after everything.
I will hurt him. It hurts to think that I will betray his love. I sucked my face in the pillow.
“Sister, open the door” I heard Annie’s voice but I refused to open up, I just wanna be alone.

My phone rang all of the sudden.
Mrs Abigail? Damnit! Why is she calling now? She’s gonna add to the problem.
