Godiva had been quiet ever since she got to the office. Raphael wouldn’t say anything too as he sat opposite her
‘ How did Cerlia know about her allergy? Does Davis know about it?” He wondered
‘Who else know about it? I thought it was a secret?’ Many thoughts were in his head but he decided to brush it off
” I’m sorry about what happened earlier..” he finally spoke up after a while
” You shouldn’t be.. and….” she paused
” What is it?” He asked
” Will you go to Japan with me tomorrow? it’s been years I visited the company over there..” she said, silently praying he’ll agree and he nodded
” No qualms..” he said
” Alright ” She stood up and left the office while Raphael followed behind
” Gianna, ask everyone to meet me at the board room..” She told Gianna when she got to her office
” Alright boss..” Gianna said and left while Godiva went to the board room
Few minutes later, the board room was filled
Everyone sat staring at her wanting to listen to wh@ťěver she had to say..
” Good morning ma’am..” Everyone in the room greeted but she didn’t respond
” I’ll be flying out tomorrow along with Raphael and Gianna ” She said and the employees exchanged glances
” Well, you all can lazy around in my absence cos you’ll be doing me a favor ” She said and an employee raised her hand
” In your absence, should we do more perfume?”
” No, I won’t stay long there. The ones we did should be enough until I’m back..” she replied
” Can’t I stay back and monitor everyone?” Gianna asked and She kept mute
” If that’s what you want..” she replied and faced Raphael
” Do you have anything to say?” She asked and he shook his head.
” If that’s the case, I’m trusting on y’all till I’m back.. ” she said and walked out of the room.
The employees stood and started dispersing
” Why did you offer to stay behind ?” Raphael asked Gianna
” I don’t want to cause a misunderstanding between my boss and I cos I think she likes you” she replied in her head
” I just want to stay and watch the others.. we need to do a good job so boss will be proud..” she replied as they walked out of the board room and he nodded slowly
” Bye, and safe trip..” She smiled and walked back to her office while Raphael walked over to Godiva
” Should we go home? Things are pretty good here..” he said
” Yeah, let’s go ” She agreed and they both walk out of the office

∆∆ SOMEWHERE IN THE STATES
? I heard she’ll be going to Japan.. a male voice said on the phone
? You failed your first mission Jerome.. make sure you execute this one well. Send someone to be on her tail and give me feedback..
? Right, we need to pay her a visit in Japan..” Jerome said and ended the call
” Godiva Moreno, don’t blame me for your selfishness.. why would you steal someone’s lover?” Jerome laughed sitting on the couch

∆∆ GODIVA’S MANSION
” Hey Raphael..” Vespertine smiled at him as he entered the house with Godiva
” Hey sis ” he waved at his sister
” I’ll be traveling to Japan tomorrow. if you can’t stay alone, you should go stay with Larina..” Godiva said
” Are you going alone? ” He asked but she ignored him and walked to her room
” Are you going with her?” Vespertine turned to Raphael and he nodded
” That’s great, you both must come back with great news okay?” He winked at Raphael before walking to his room
Godiva left the bathroom after she was done taking her bath and picked up her phone from the bed
She dialed Mary’s number and she picked up immediately
? See who remembered me today.. Mary laughed
? I’m sorry, I was just too busy
? I understand.. I heard about the golden wear you made, I’m proud of you.. Mary smiled
? Thank you Mary but I’m not fine and I’ll be traveling to Japan tommorow.. I don’t want to go there looking sick
? I thought we talked about you employing that guy.. you didn’t? You didn’t give me feedback either
? I did.. She sighed before explaining everything
? You think you’re sick cos He’s all over your head?” Mary laughed
? You think it’s funny? Godiva frown. Mary was about replying when she ended the call
” She’s in love with her employee? This is serious.. ” Mary laugh shortly, walking to her office
” I told her I’m sick and all she could do was laugh? She’s not serious” Godiva hissed before leaving for the dinning
Raphael and vespertine were on the table already so she joined them.

” I’m gonna miss you.. ” vespertine pouted hugging Godiva
” I’ll miss you too..” Godiva ruffled his hair gently as they walked outside
” Lydia.. you should take care of the house and Vespertine when I’m not around.. ” she faced Lydia then the maids
” Y’all make sure I don’t meet my home untidy when I come back, else y’all will kiss your job goodbye ” She said and entered the car with Raphael
” Nicolas, drive us..” She said and Nicolas entered the car and ignited the engine
” Bye…. ” vespertine waved as the car drove off to the airport

∆∆ O’HARE AIRPORT
Raphael sat in the plane waiting for Godiva
In no time, she walked in with a girl whose seat was supposed to be in front of Godiva’s
The girl walked up to Raphael smiling broadly at him while he stared at her confused
” Can I sit here, I don’t feel like sitting next to that guy and.. The girl trailed off ready to sit even when he hadn’t given her permission yet
” That’s my spot..” Godiva said walking to them
” Let’s switch seats ” The girl said
” No, Never ” She pulled the girl up and sat next to Raphael
She held his hands and looked up at the girl with a fake smile
The girl scoff loudly and glared at her before leaving for her own seat while Raphael chuckled…
In no time, everyone was seated and the plane took off.

∆∆ HOUR’S LATER ~ JAPAN
Godiva and Raphael left the airport and a car from the company was Waiting for her already
The hotel she was to Lodge in was ready too. Everyone was expecting her since she had informed them about her arrival
” Let’s go..” She told Raphael as they both entered the car which took them to the hotel
? Hello boss, She just arrived.. should we attack today? A guy said, watching them as they entered the hotel
? Not yet, give her time to rest tonight.. carry out the task tomorrow. Don’t ki|| her cos we need to give her a painful death.
? Alright boss.. we’ll just make her crippled and blind accompanied with her allergy” the guy chuckled
? Do more if possible.. Michael said ending the call at once
