(Drink and die)

“This will give us promotions in the main hospital,” One of the doctors laughed.

“Yes, we will turn this Jax to our Guinea pig and tell people he’s our creation.” another one laughed.

“What can we use to ki|| a werewolf?” one of them asked with a wicked smirk.

“We are not planning to ki|| him. We need him alive till we can capture other Werewolves,” another said.

They continued discussing on their means to capture Jax by using different drugs to weaken him.

Hospital.

“What is she doing here?” Mr Black yelled, his eyes blazing with anger.

“Father, leave her alone,” Jax said, holding gabriella’s hand.

“What do you mean by that!” Mr Black yelled. “You are getting married to May and you aren’t supposed to pay attention to this dirt!”

“I’m not dirt. I take my bath, unlike some people that smell like poop,” Gabriella insulted.

“You brat!” Mr Black scowled.

He pressed forward to attack Gabriella but Jax swiftly got off the bed, taking a long tear on his face.

Mr Black wanted to attack Gabriella but ended up, clawing Jax’s face.

“Jax,” Gabriella called.

Jax looked at her and she wanted to get worried, but the cut healed within a few seconds.

Gabriella was amazed and grateful.

“Why did you do that?” Mr Black tried attacking her again but he was stopped by Jax.

“Father, that’s enough. Leave my room, you’re stressing me,” Jax commanded.

Mr Black gasped in shock, meanwhile Echo, looked proudly at Jax.

“How can you tell me to leave when I’m just trying to save you,” Mr Black yelled, hating the fact that his son was mated to a weak human.

“I don’t need any saving when I’m with Gabriella,” Jax responded.

Gabriella looked at him and a smiled crossed her face.

“You don’t what you’re saying, this woman will wreck you!”
“Well, you can play with her as much as you want. But you must marry May!”

Mr Black shot a deadly glare at Gabriella and stormed out of the the room.

“Jax, how do you feel?” Echo asked with a happy smile on her lips.

“I’m fine, thank you,” Jax replied.

“Gabby?”

“I’m fine, Echo” Gabriella smiled at her.

“Echo!!!”

Echo heard Mr Black’s voice and rushed out of the room.

“She deserves someone better, no offense,” Gabriella sighed.

“None taken,” Jax shook his head and faced her.

“Your wound healed so quickly,” Gabriella giggled.

“I know right.” Jax smiled at her. “It’s one of the advantages of being a werewolf,”

He leaned closer to her and kissed her lips softly.

“Jax, is there something wrong with you?” Gabriella asked in confusion.

She was perplexed by his behavior.

“I don’t know, all I know is that, I want to treat you right…”

Days later, Jax was discharged and returned home with Gabriella. Although, he still hasn’t been himself, things had gotten better between him and Gabriella until, the person Jack sent was caught and confessed to the crime.

It had been two days since that time and Gabriella was still feeling guilty for the accusations she had laid against Jack and she wanted to apologize for her supposed mistake.

“How do I meet him?” Gabriella asked herself, pacing back and forth in her room.

“He was innocent and I accused him so much,” Gabriella said and let out a guilty sigh.

As she kept thinking, the door to her room creaked open and she turned to see Jack walking into her room.

She couldn’t see the difference at first but when she came closer, she saw how deep his blue eyes were.

“Jack,” She gasped. “What are you doing here, what if you get caught?”

“I don’t care, as long as I can see you,” Jack whispered and held her arms. “Do you still think that I’m the culprit? How should I prove that I’m innocent?”

“You don’t have to prove anything,” She muttered.

“I truly believe you because the culprit has been caught and I want to apologize for the slap and false accusations,” Gabriella apologized.

“Forgive me…”

“I have nothing to forgive you for. You had every right to be angry with me,” Jack said, feeling happy that he had successfully tricked her. “Baby, don’t ever doubt me again,”

He took his hand to her lips and caressed her lip with his thumb.

Gabriella stared at him and couldn’t stop a smile from appearing on her lips.

He brought his lips close to her face and kissed her eye. Then he kissed the bridge of her nose and her cheek.

Gabriella blushed. She wanted to push him away but couldn’t stop the attraction between them, from clouding her mind.

“You’re so beautiful, mate…” He whispered and was about to kiss her lips when a knock came on her door.

Jack left her and made his way out, through the window.

Gabriella nervously checked herself and said. “Come in,”

She was surprised to see May, walking into her room.

“What are you doing doing here?” Gabriella asked, coldly.

“I’m not here to fight,” May said, smirking inwardly.

“Then, what are you here for?” Gabriella asked.

“I want us to talk,”

Gabriella sighed and asked her to seat on the bed. May came with the tray of juices and dropped it on her bed, as she sat.

“What are they for?” Gabriella asked, looking at the glasses of juice.

“Let’s drink a bit while talking,” May said with a fake smile on her lips.

“Okay,” Gabriella smiled back.
“There’s a spider on that wall!”

May looked at where Gabriella pointed and Gabriella used the opportunity to switch the glasses. May who was staring at the wall like an idiot, faced her and picked to her own glass.

“There’s nothing on the wall,”

“I’ve just been scared of spiders since jax said he h@ťě them,” Gabriella laughed. “Don’t mind me,”

“I came to talk about Jax,” May said and took a gulp of her own juice. “I want to talk peacefully to you. I don’t want us to keep fighting over him. So, I want to please leave…ah!”

May clutched her belly in pain.

“Are you okay?” Gabriella pretended.

“As I was saying… I…” May suddenly vomited a handful of blood. She wondered what was wrong with her till realization dawned on her.

“You poisoned me,”

“No snake, I fed you your own poison,” Gabriella said, smirking coldly..
