Kim tapped her, yanking her out of her reverie.
“What happened to you babe?” Cathy asked.
“Who was that?” Summer asked, ignoring Cathy’s question.
“The most cutest guy in school, his name is Kingston Tush. Isn’t he dreamy?” Kim said, batting her eyelashes.
“Drama!” Cathy rolled her eyes.
“I think I like him.” Summer said.
“Babe, it’s your first day at school.” Kim frowned.
“Doesn’t matter, he’s very hot!” Summer smirked.
“What’s so interesting about him anyways?” Cathy asked with an eye roll.
“I have nothing to say to you, you’re just a show ki||er.” Summer said.
“Wh@ťěver.” Cathy rolled her eyes again.
“Let’s go.” Kim said and they left the halls.
They took Kim round the school and when it was time for class, they brought her to Class B which was hers.
She entered and to her surprise, Kingston was there with his friend, she gulped down and became nervous. She was anxious of what he would think about her if she passes.
She used her eyes to search for a seat and saw one beside him.
Their teacher, Mrs Rosella, walked in and met her.
“New student?” She asked.
“Yes ma.” Summer nodded.
“Settle down everyone, we have a new student who just got enrolled here,” She silenced them then faced Summer. “Please, introduce yourself to the class.”
Summer turned to face them and saw that Kingston was looking at her too. She hid her nervousness and cleared her throat.
“Um… My name is Summer Daniels, daughter of Mr Daniels Parker, I’m 16 years old and I would love to know you all.” She smiled.
The girls started murmuring.
★Summer Daniels, like, the famous Mr Daniels daughter?
★She is very beautiful, I’ve only seen her in news with her father. It’s cool to see her in person.
★Look at how the boys are drooling over her? Sheesh! Can’t they show some dignity?
★Yeah! We know she’s beautiful, that doesn’t give her the right to show off.
Mrs Rosella shushed them and faced Summer.
“You’re welcome to DAYSPRING HIGH. We hope you enjoy your stay here,” She faced the class. “She has introduced herself, now it’s up to you all to tell her your names.”
“Sure!” They all chorused.
“Hi, My name is Melody Williams, welcome.”
“Sasha Eve, you’re welcome.”
“Daniella Perkins, welcome.”
“Jimmy John, welcome.”
They kept introducing themselves until it got to Kingston’s turn. Her heart started beating fast as she wonders what his voice sounded like.
“My name is Kingston Tush, you’re welcome.” He said.
Her legs almost gave out, his voice was another charm on its own, deep yet mesmerizing.
“Thank you all.” She smiled.
“Since you’ve known your classmates, my name is Mrs Rosella Webber and I’m your class teacher. You’ll have the opportunity to meet other teachers as time goes on. You’re welcome.”
“Thanks ma.” Summer smiled.
“You can go sit beside Roland since he has no seat mate yet.” Mrs Rosella said.
“Okay ma.” She smiled and walked past Kingston’s desk and sat down near the boy.
“Hi!” He waved at her.
“Hey, Good morning.” She smiled.
He wasn’t bad looking though, he had blonde hair and brown eyes with cute lips.
“Welcome to school.” He smiled at her before facing the whiteboard.
She smiled back at him.
Mrs Rosella commenced her teaching and she would steal glances at Kingston from time to time. The bell rang, signalling the end of first period and Mrs Rosella left the class.
Soon, students especially the guys were flocking around her, asking her different kind of questions. She answered the ones she was able to hear with her eyes fixed on Kingston who sat on his chair putting something down in his note.
She bit her lower lip and wondered while he isn’t even sparing her a glance.

LUNCH TIME.
Kingston sat down with Gideon at the cafeteria, he just finished running away from most of the girls and finally found a seat void of them.
He sighed as he ate the noodles before him.
Just then, Summer entered with Kim and Cathy and his gaze went to her.
“What do you think about her?” Gideon asked, noticing how Kingston stared at her.
“About who?” Kingston asked, returning his gaze to his food.
“The new girl.” Gideon answered.
“Oh.” Was his reply.
“So,what do you think?” Gideon asked again.
“She’s okay.” He replied simply and returned to eating.
Gideon sighed, looking at Kim. He admired her beauty even though she was a bit faraway.
He turned to face his food but a plate breaking on the floor drew their attention. He and Kingston turned to the direction only to see that a girl spilled food on Summer’s clothes.
They all watched waiting to see her reaction.
Summer glared at the girl, ready to vent her anger.
The girl was already shivering, she knew what rich girls could do to poor folks like her
