THE DANIELS MANSION.
Summer’s Room.
The maids ran helter skelter trying to arrange her stuff before she comes out of the bathroom. Just a word from her tiny mouth and they’re fired.
The bathroom door opened slowly and she emerged, cleaning her body with a towel. The maids were already on a single file, waiting for her commands.
She walked over to her dressing table and sat down.
“Must I tell you before you apply lotion on my body?” She snapped and they flinched.
“We’re sorry Princess.” They all chorused.
She hissed and they started applying body lotion on her after which they brought out a red mini gown for her. Summer looked at the gown and frowned.
“What’s the meaning of this?” She asked with an eye roll.
“Sorry Princess but you told us that you would be wearing this gown today.” One of the maids said.
“Didn’t I wear this gown last week?” She asked rhetorically. “I’ve always told you all that I don’t wear my clothes twice, trash that dump and get me something befitting of my status.” She yelled.
“We are sorry ma.” Another maid said.
“Ma? What did I tell you all to call me?” She asked.
“Princess!” They chorused.
“Last warning.” She glared at the maid while another one brought out a blue skirt and white top for her to wear.
She took the cloth and put it on before they applied makeup on her face.
After that, she went to the dinning table and sat down.
The maids brought custard and two loaves of bread for her. That was how she loved her breakfast and they knew better than to serve her something outside that in the morning.
She started eating and requested for a glass of water, a maid rushed to get it but mistakenly spilled the water on her, soaking her skirt.
“I’m sorry, it wasn’t intentional.” The maid went on her knees.
For a moment, Summer remained motionless, the expression on her face was unreadable. She took a towel and cleaned her skirt then stood up without saying a word.
The maid was surprised at what was happening, she expected Summer to yell and probably get her fired but she hasn’t done anything.
Summer went to her parents room, bid them farewell, flung her school bag over her shoulders and stepped out of the house.
She entered the car without saying a word and the driver drove off. In the car she breathe in and out, trying to tame her anger. She knew it wasn’t the maid’s fault, it was her fault for always being hard on them. She figured the maid was scared of her which made her spill the water. She sighed, maybe she she needs to be more nicer to them.

DAYSPRING HIGH.
Summer got down from the car and breathe in the fresh air savouring the amazing sight.
“First day at school.” She muttered and took slow strides to the halls.
She had already finished the registration and other stuffs and right now, she was looking for her besties, Kim and Cathy.
“Summer!”
She turned and saw Kim holding Cathy’s hand as they walked to her.
“Hey girls.” She smiled.
“Heyo, what’s up?” Cathy hugged her.
“I’m cool, I was actually looking for you girls.” Summer said.
“Now, you’ve found us, let’s go in together.” Kim said and they entered as all eyes were on them, Summer to be precise.
The girls looked at her with envy, her perfectly shaped body and slender waist coupled with her slender legs gave her a model like look, plus her almond shaped eyes and flawless skin. Her silky black hair fell freely down her back almost touching her waist.
She could see most of the guys drooling and she didn’t bother to care.
“They’re all looking at you Summer.” Cathy said.
“So?” She asked.
“You’ll get popular before you know it.” Kim smiled.
“I’m not really in for that now. Besides, I don’t have their time.” She said with an eye roll, making Kim and Cathy to laugh.
“Come on, let’s show you around before class.” Kim said.
“Are you trying to rub off the fact that you resumed school before me?” Summer asked, giving her a weird look.
Kim laughed.
“Of course not.” She replied.
Summer laughed and they turned to leave but the screams from the girls stopped them in their tracks.
They all turned and Summer almost tripped when she saw who made the girls scream like that.
“O M G!” She exclaimed, drooling over him.
★Oh my gosh look at him.
★Kingston! I love you!
★He is so dreamy, I wish he could ask me out.
?I love you!
?I wanna kiss him!
Summer could hear what the girls were saying.
She watched as he walked over.
His eyes, his lips, his body, He was hot! She didn’t know how to describe him.
She kept staring till he walked past her with his friend, not even sparing her a glance like other boys
