DINNING ROOM**
*Now, you’re done with your breakfast. Please, have a look at the TV so as to know our remaining survivors from the cards game*
Helen eyes were down though. She was still in pains.
The TV which boldly showed 31 started counting down.
It stopped at 16 and everyone gasped.
*15 people died. 15 people survived and 1 who was disqualified from the game cause she got no partner makes it 16. I hope y’all are ready for tomorrow. Our 4th game is coming*
Everyone started murmuring about.
*Please, take your dishes to the front and leave to your respective rooms*
LATER, THAT NIGHT**
Karen opened her eyes when she heard loud sobs. She turned to see Helen crying.
“Helen…” She sighed.
Helen covered her mouth and shaked her head, looking at Gavin’s empty bed.
“I can’t believe he’s gone. I miss him. I miss him so much” She sobbed, her voice shaking.
Karen moved to her bed and knelt before it.
“I’m disappointed at myself” Karen muttered.
“I use to think Gavin was a bad husband. I’m a hypocrite. I’m a bad mother” Tears ran down her eyes.
“My Bella. My little daughter. After getting married to my first husband who made me bore her, I thought I found the perfect family but I was wrong. He divorced me cause he thought Bella wasn’t his own child. She was mute. She heard but never spoke a thing”
“Despite the countless DNA tests we ran in different hospitals, we got the same thing. He was the biological father. He was cruel and ruthless. He left me and Bella to fend on our own”
“That was when I thought, Bella, you were the reason your dad left me. I started growing h@ťě on that little girl for nothing”
“I was happy to the core when another guy I started dating, asked for my hand I marriage. However, after he met Bella, he…said he wouldn’t go ahead with the marraige. He asked me to abandon her or abandon him”
“Guess what?” She cried out.
“I abandoned my daughter. I didn’t want her to take my 2nd joy which I thought would be the last. I made a promise to come back for her when everything gets alright”
“I got divorced again. This time it wasn’t because of Bella. That was when I realized, Bella was innocent. She never took my joy. Wanting to go bring her back again, I fell in love stupidly again!!”
“I never change, do I? I might the best wife but I was least that a mom. I was a heartless mother! A bad one!” She hit her chest.
“When we dated, and he asked for my hand in marriage. I thought he was the perfect man, again and didn’t go back to Bella thinking she would ruin my 3rd marriage. What was exactly my problem!! I never changed. why???”
“After 2 years, he divorced me. I was wrong about me. He married me to make his divorced wife jealous. I’m pathetic, right?” She forced a sad chuckle.
“Helen? You’re the best. Gavin is perfect. I’m…just someone who never had a heart. A cold person. The last time I tried to bring Bella back, I made an excuse again…saying communication was a barrier. I wouldn’t be able to speak and understand her as I haven’t learnt the sign language”
Helen sighed.
“Then, you would have told me”
“Huh?”
“My grandma is mute. I learnt the sign language cause of her and I’m good in it”
Karen smiled.
“Don’t worry, when we leave here…I’ll teach you”
Karen nodded and hugged Helen.
“We are gonna be fine” Helen muttered.

Marshall sighed deeply and faced Leah. She was crying. Her face was so red already. Her eyes were closed but must be red when opened.
Her face was dripping wet with her tears.
“Please,,, stop crying. It only hurts me the more” He muttered, as tears escaped from his eyes.
DAY 8**
*Welcome to our 4th game. Please, move to the next room with the guidance of our able game supervisors*
They all entered the next room and gasped. They were amazed. It was a labyrinth (puzzle maze) and it was pretty big.
*This game is quite simple and welcome. This game is called,,, Hide And Seek*
*Please, listen to the game rule. Go into the labyrinth and hide in any of the passages, corners, etc*
*Our game conductors will seek for y’all. When found, you’ll be eliminated. You’ve just 5 minutes during this game. Go!!*
