“No one calls the police” Rhett yelled and the guest dialling the police number cut the call.
“Rhett what are you saying?” Naomi yelled in tears.
“No one calls the police, the party is over, everyone leave” Rhett yelled and his voice echoed in the house.
“Everyone leave now!!” He yelled, they began leaving one after the other.
Rhett squatted beside Katrina was unconscious and still bleeding.
“The ambulance, is on its way” Vikita said.
“You pushed my daughter” Naomi yelled in tears as she shot daggers at Ocean.
“I didn’t do anything” Ocean muttered and stood still on the staircase.
Rhett looked up at her, with an expressionless face, she didn’t understand the stare but she was scared he would misjudge her.
All the guests were gone, not a person remaining,
The ambulance came and the medical paramedics put Katrina on a stretcher and took her away, Naomi and Vikita went with them to the hospital.
Leaving Rhett and Ocean alone there.
She came down slowly from the stairs already shivering, she skipped over the blood on the floor and moved close to him.
She stood in front of him facing him directly.
“Rhett, I didn’t push her, I don’t know what possessed her but she went crazy and fell off the stairs on her own, Babe believe me, I didn’t push her, I would never do that trust me, please” Ocean said in tears, she cupped his cheeks with her hands shaking.
She was shocked about the entire thing and scared too.
“Babe, believe me, I would never, ever hurt a pregnant woman or even hurt her, I can’t do that, I don’t know how she fell but I didn’t push her, Rhett believe me please” Ocean sobbed staring into his eyes.
“I believe you and I would never doubt you , I don’t know why Katherina would decide to put herself and the baby on the line but I believe you” Rhett replied and kissed her forehead.
She heaved a sigh of relief.
“Babe you really believe me?” Ocean asked and Rhett smiled a bit.
“I believe you but I have got to go” Rhett kissed her lips quickly and left from there.
Ocean stood nervously and began blabbering words, she was praying hard that nothing happened to Katrina and the baby, she doesn’t want to go to jail.
Roxana came downstairs to see everywhere empty.
“Party over already” Roxana muttered climbing down the stairs, she had an earphone plugged in her ears all through the party, she only came to get a glass of water for herself.
Nikita is upstairs watching a movie from her second phone.
She removed the earphone and hung it on her neck.
“Nikita’s nanny” She said and climbed down the last step as saw Ocean sobbing.
Ocean turned to her with a pale and teary face.
“Yes” Ocean muttered, Roxana shuddered when she saw blood.
“What the h*ck?!” Roxana gasped staring at the blood.
“What really happened in this party?” Roxana asked.
“Katrina was rushed to the hospital, she fell off the stairs” Ocean replied.
Roxana covered her mouth in shock.
“My poor brother” Roxana muttered.
“I wonder how devastated Rhett would be now, do you know what hospital she was taken to?” Roxana asked.
“I have no idea” Ocean replied in a distorted manner.
“Was it that terrible?” Roxana asked observing the state she was in.
“How did it happen?” Roxana asked, she held Ocean’s hands.
“How did it happen?” She repeated.
She took Ocean to the couch and they both sat down.
Ocean narrated the event to her and Roxana was not surprised.
“That woman is a Ɓîtçh!, She’s just trying to make Rhett stay with her, Rhett brought this upon himself, he’s too flirty and too much of a Casanova, look where it landed him” Roxana said and sighed.
“I didn’t push her, I swear I didn’t, I don’t want to go to jail for murder ” Ocean sobbed, Roxana pulled her into a hug.
“It’s okay,no one will send you to jail, don’t be scared, Naomi can’t do anything, she barks more than she bites” Roxana smiled, she broke the hug and wiped Ocean’s tears away.
“Thank you” Ocean sniffed.
“Are you the girl that broke Rhett’s heart?” Roxana asked and Ocean pouted a little.
“is that what he told you?” Ocean asked and Roxana smiled.
“No, he was only crying when he came back from the Phillipines that a girl broke his heart and he’s devastated” Roxana replied.
“I am not that girl” Ocean lied.
“Okay, but I don’t believe you “Roxana giggled.
” I will call the maids to clean up this place “She said and left Ocean alone.
” If you can still listen to a sinnner’s prayer, oh God, don’t let her or her baby die, please “Ocean prayed and began crying again.

Hospital.
” How is my Katherina doctor? “Naomi asked anxiously.
” She’s safe, only a little dislocation here and there,but she’s fine “The female doctor replied.
“What of the baby?” Rhett asked and she nodded.
“The baby is safe too but there is a problem, any form of stress, push or imbalance could cause a miscarriage, we found traces of alcohol in her system, maybe she drank it out of depression, because every pregnant woman knows that alcohol is lethal to a baby “The doctor concluded.
Naomi faced Rhett and glared at him, Vikita suddenly entered their middle covering Rhett from her evil eyes.
Rhett touched his chest again.
” is it that pain again? “Vikita asked with a scared face.
He shook his head.
” So doctor what’s the next step? “Rhett asked.
” Don’t say anything that will trigger anxiety in her, don’t make her feel bad or cry too much or rather stress herself, it’s dangerous, extremely dangerous because her baby won’t stand another wrong force “She replied.
“Thank you doctor” Vikita said and the doctor left.
“This is all your fault and that stup*d wicked witch that pushed my poor daughter” Naomi yelled in tears.
“If you are planning not to marry her or maybe you even told her that which forced her to take alcohol then you better not try it, I won’t watch my daughter be maltreated and loss her baby, if anything happens to her especially to her baby then their blood would be on you “Naomi yelled.
” That’s enough Naomi, enough, Rhett isn’t at fault here, your daughter is old enough to decide her fate and no one forced the alcohol down her throat, she slept with Rhett, he didn’t r*pe her, so stop acting like your daughter is a Saint “Vikita yelled and held Rhett’s hand.
” if anything happens to her or her baby it would be on her not my son “Vikita yelled like she had just returned a curse.
Naomi scoffed and walked away from there.
“Mom, I don’t know what to do anymore “Rhett muttered teary-eyed.
“It’s okay my boy, I am here with you” Vikita said and hugged him.
He rest his chin on her shoulder and sniffed back his tears.
