Vikita sighed for the umpteenth time.
“I miss my baby” Vikita smiled sadly referring to Rhett.
“How is he doing there? , in a country that is so dangerous to live in” Vikita said and sighed again, she clasped unto the mug of coffee and suddenly her heart felt weird like it shook and the mug slipped from her hands and broke, she shifted backwards so it’s content won’t splash on her.
“What’s this feeling?”Vikita asked herself touching her chest.
” I hope it’s not what I am thinking ‘Vikita said, she picked up her car key from the table and her handbag.
She stood up and dashed out of the office.

Phillipines.
Ocean was pacing around the waiting room.
” You are making me feel dizzy “An old man complained, she wanted to insult him but considered his age.
She stood aside and rested on the wall, the waiting seemed endless.
The doctor came out of the ward and she approached him.
” Doc”
“He is fine, the car didn’t have much impart to his body only his leg is a bit damaged and would feel paralyzed and his body a bit sore, he fractured some ribs but there are no serious internal injuries, he is sedated now but you can see him” The doctor said in such a rush, she could hardly comprehend anything he said.
“Thank you doc.” Ocean said with a shaky smile, he returned the smile and left from there.
“Why does he always act like a kid?,Should I babysit him ? Such an idiot ” Ocean mumbled tiredly, staying in the hospital for hours all for that fool.
She sat down on the row of seats in the waiting room.
“Finally she sits down” The old man said with a Ç0çƙy voice.
“Old man better respect yourself cause I have insults specially prepared and packaged for nosy and talkative old people like you ” Ocean said eyeing him.
The old man took up his walking stick and walked away.
“Gosh!!!” Ocean secretly screamed.

“Ophelia, this won’t work” Marcello said slightly pushing her upwards.
“Why?” Ophelia asked resting her butt on the table.
“Because, it can’t work” Marcello uttered sternly.
“But you know my feelings for you, I know you feel the same way” Ophelia said holding his face but he shoved off her hand.
“It still won’t work, you left me for Steve and I married Karen, her being dead doesn’t mean I will get back with you , your close relationship with my daughter won’t make me love you again” Marcello stated in a harsh tone.
“Get this into your thick skull, read my lips Ophelia min-young , I have no feelings for you, not even a single bit of affection for you” Marcello uttered, her heart felt torn to pieces, her eyes watered.
“Marcello hear me out” Ophelia pleaded.
“Leave my office” Marcello said angrily.
Ophelia fought back her tears and stood straight, she picked up her bag and walked to the door.
She placed her hand on the door knob and turned back.
“I am leaving doesn’t mean I won’t come back” Ophelia said, she opened the door and walked out.
Marcello threw the documents on the table to the floor.
“Can’t she just leave me alone?” Marcello snickered abd corked his head backwards.

“Dan, give me Rhett’s new number, please” Vikita pleaded but Dan didn’t give her listening ears.
“When you are done, leave my office” Dan said non chalantly.
“He is still your son” Vikita yelled.
“He was a mistake and he has continually proved to be that, a mistake” Dan uttered inconsiderably.
“A mistake that you induced, you were the one who had s*x with me and got me pregnant at the the age of 17 or have you forgotten?, all the humiliation and shame I went through all because I refused to abort Rhett, You just married me out of your ambition to keep your phoney good image and reputation intact “Vikita ranted enraging Dan.
He slammed his hand on the table and stood up, she quickly shifted back clutching on to her bag.
” I have had enough from you “Dan said angrily.
” Dan you are such a hypocrite, you r*ped me that night, you were a grown up 26 years old man who had s*x with a drunk 17 years old girl and you parade yourself to the kids like some Saint “Vikita yelled, Dan wanted to move over to her but she swiftly ran out of his office.

Rhett flung his eyes slowly, he saw a blurry image at first but his vision cleared and he saw Ocean sitted on the bed, dozing.
He tried moving his body but his rib sides hurt a lot and his leg was numb like he couldn’t feel anything, Ocean hadnt noticed his movements, she turned to him and he quickly closed his eyes.
Her eyes were red out of sleepiness.
“I am so sleepy” Ocean yawned, she couldn’t stand it again, she laid on the bed, beside him.
Her eyes met his face again, she sighed, she shut her eyes and opened them again, luckily she had unwillingly taken her drugs, she won’t be having any one of her crazy nightmares.
Ocean opened her eyes and her hand went to his face, her fingers touched his soft, smooth skin, her fingers trailed to his pink rosy lips, his face was like cynosure to her, admiring his face, natural glossy lips, it’s perfect, his face is perfect, she smiled a little remembering how he kissed her.

Why was she having second thoughts about Rhett?.
Her eyes were too heavy to remain open, she closed them in seconds but her fingers were still on his face.
Rhett opened his eyes, he gazed at her face, she sleepily moved close to him and hugged him like her pillow.
“Ah,” He groaned, her sleeping position was weird, she folded her legs and one of her leg went to his waist and her hands around on his neck.
“First she makes me go to that market and now I get hit by a car, this tomboy won’t be the death of me” Rhett lamented inwardly.
“She sleeps like a toad” He gasped , she parted her mouth and saliva slipped out of the side of her lips.
“She drools as well, Geez, I will tease her with this Tommorrow. Rhett giggled weakly.
” Oh my ribs”Rhett Mõ@ɲed and removed her lap from his waist.
