“Don’t you think it’s time you got off of me, it’s hard for me to wheel myself and you ?” Nicole said.
“What’s the essence of this muscle if you can’t wheel a skinny girl like me?” Melody asked as she touch his biceps.
“Don’t you feel weird touching me like that?” Nicole asked.
“What’s weird in touching a handsome guy like you…am addicted to your bicep” she whispered into his ear making him shiver a bit.
“Don’t you know what they call shame?” Nicole asked and she shook her head.
“Shame is when you are seen naked by a stranger, shame is when you are called by a teacher to answer a very simple question but you fail to achieve that and shame…. What matters is that I don’t feel shame since am being honest here” Melody replied while Nicole shook his incredulously.
“My name is Melody and am sixteen years old, what about…”
“Hey Nicole…good to see you ” A skinny blondie called as she stared at Melody and Nicole.
“Oh,Good to see you too Jenny” Nicole replied giving Jenny a look which told her that he needed help.
“If your name is Nicole then you must be Connor’s brother. I knew something was odd about you and that’s because we are destined for each other” Melody blurted out.
“That is if I allow that… Can you please get off my boyfriend?” Jenny said and that brought Melody gaze on her.
“Your boyfriend?” Melody asked feeling a bit lost.
“Yes, my boyfriend” Jenny replied and immediately Melody got off Nicole’s lap.
“I thought you said you were single” Melody said starring at Nicole.
“That’s what you wanted to believe but it turns out that I do have a girlfriend” Nicole replied, taking hold of Jenny’s hand, he gave it a kiss.
“Sorry I bothered you then” Melody said as she walked off feeling a bit hurt.
“Thanks Jenny” Nicole said as he let her go.
“Who is she that you had to ask me for help?” Jenny asked.
“Just a girl I met today” Nicole replied remembering the crazy things Melody said to him.
“From what I see, I think she likes you” Jenny supplied.
“That’s ridiculous. We just met today and am glad I got rid of her, hope your boyfriend didn’t mind me kissing your hand?” He asked.
“He didn’t since I don’t have a boyfriend and besides am planning on hooking up with Chris tonight, do you know where he is?”

Cynthia who was still stunned by Chris sudden kiss tried to pull away and Chris tightened his hold on her while deepening the kiss.
Slowly, Cynthia close her eyes and made herself enjoy the feel of his lips on her. She kissed and sucked on his lips just like he was doing with hers.
Chris pulled away to stare at his dream girl, he has always fantasize about this moment and now that it’s happening, he never wants to let her go.
“I want you so much” he muttered saying out his thought but on hearing that, it died out the passion in Cynthia.
What is she doing…she thought as she pulled away from him and before he could stop her, she swam her way out of the pool.
Dripping wet, she began to head to the party in search of Tessa, ignoring Chris call.
She was still walking off when he wrap a towel around her.
“You can’t go to the party this way” he said also dripping wet.
“Leave me alone” she said as she made to leave but swiftly, he carried her into his arms.
“Chris!” She called out in fright.
“Let me take care of you, I promise not to do anything you don’t want” he said starring down at her and when she said nothing, he carried her back into the mansion.
While some of the guest they passed watch them all Cynthia could think of was what made her kiss him back.
For crying out loud, he’s just a kid! A kid she happens to be tutoring…she thought as she kept starring at his handsome face.
It’s been too long since she’s been with a guy, it’s best she start going for blind date again, she concluded just as he carried her into a room.
“Where are we?” Cynthia asked as he set her down.
“Fiona’s room. You need something to change into and Tessa is probably too busy to pick your call, I figured that Fiona’s clothe might fit you” he said as he rummage Fiona’s closet pulling out a dress.
“Put these on” he said and slowly she took the dress from him and made way to the bathroom.
She was about to open the door when she stop to stare at him.
“Why did you kiss me?” She asked.
“Well I…”
“I can only think of one thing which is that you got drunk and mistook me for the girl you like, right?” She asked and seeing a way out of his plight, Chris shook his head.
“It’s just that I was feeling down and ended up getting drunk and then it led to me mistaking you for the girl I like and the rest is….you know” he said looking a bit shy.
“It’s okay. I understand” Cynthia added before going into the bathroom.
Chris sat on a chair trying to calm his racing heart. He will never touch a drop of alcohol again…he vowed while fΓnΔ£ΖΕing his lips.

“Oh, I didn’t know since there’s no ring on Tessa’s finger” Seven said starring at the way Connor held onto Tessa’s hand.
“Don’t worry, I surely will rectify that soon since I want everyone to know that Tessa belongs to me” Connor replied as he gave her a kiss on her hand.
“If you have nothing more to say then I will take my fiancee with me” Connor added as he pulled Tessa off leaving Seven starring after them.
He walked her into a private spot and immediately Tessa pulled her hand out of his.
“You didn’t have to tell such lie” She said
“That isn’t a lie since I plan on marrying you” he replied.
“But I…”
“Shhh….let’s not fight again. I h@Ε₯Δ it when you are angry with me and about earlier. I wasn’t siding with Blair ” he began slowly. ” I love you just as much as I love my sister and I will h@Ε₯Δ it if you both never get to settle your differences. I know you started off the wrong way but you might as well try to resolve it” Connor stated.
“I might but I doubt if Blair will…I can tell that Seven arrival has to do with her” Tessa said.
“If it does then am grateful to her”
“What!”
“Thanks to her bringing Seven, I got the chance to make you my fiancee” Connor replied.
“Yeah right, you must be thrilled right?”
“I am, very much” he replied as he pulled her into his arms.
“What are you doing?” Tessa asked feeling that surge of excitement Connor’s closeness made her feel.
“Seven is watching us”
“Did he follow us?” Tessa asked and when she tried to look, he turned her face to him.
“Since he followed us, why don’t we give him something to look at ” he said as his lips claimed hers.
When the kiss ended, she tried to pull away but he pulled her back, embracing her instead.
“Is he still there?” Tessa asked.
“The jerk keeps on starring at us” Connor replied as he let out a smile since there was no one watching them.
“Let’s keep on holding each other like this till he leaves” he added, liking the way her body fitted perfectly to his.

“Did he really say that?” Clarissa asked and Seven gave a nod in reply.
“Then it’s over” Clarissa cried out.
“It’s not over! I refuse to believe that Tessa and my brother are engaged ” Blair stated.
“They are and it’s only right that we give up” Seven replied.
“I can’t believe you want to give up when you are this close to having her by your side” Blair yelled at him.
“Then what do you expect me to do! They are engaged!” Seven yelled at her too.
“Though I doubt that they are engage, am sure that we can still do something” Blair said.
“Something like what?” Clarissa asked.
“Something new, something which I know will drive them apart for good” Blair replied.

^^ Next Day ~ Evening ^^
Fiona went to get something to drink in the kitchen when she saw a maid return with a tray of food left untouch.
“Did Granny ask for another food?” Fiona asked as she took a sip of her milk.
“This is not Missy but it’s for young master Frederick” The maid replied and that got her attention.
“I thought it was a joke when I went to give him his breakfast and he refuse to eat, I did the same for lunch and he still refuse it and now this… He’s going to get sick If he doesn’t eat” The maid said.
“Give it to me, I will make sure he finish this” Fiona said as she took the tray from the maid heading to Frederick’s room.
She made a vow to avoid him and that was why she didn’t check on him when she saw no sign of him through out the day but knowing that he’s starving himself is something she has to stop.
She knocked twice before going into his room and there he was on the bed, his back turned on her.
“I told you that I want to be left alone” Frederick said thinking her to be the maid.
“And I will leave you alone once you’ve had your supper” she spoke which made him sat up immediately.
“Am not hungry” he replied and slept back, turning his back on her.
Letting out a sigh, Fiona set the tray on a table and went to kneel in front of his bed side.
“Are you doing this because of what I said last night?” Fiona asked.
“Just let me be” he whispered shutting his eyes just so he wouldn’t see her.
“Frederick, it’s the best for the both of us” Fiona said.
“Best for the both of us? It’s the worst thing for us both. You think that by being far away from me, it will get rid of what you feel for me. You are only going to hurt yourself just as you are hurting me” Frederick admitted.
“Then what do you suggest we do? This can’t keep on going on!”
“We’ve tried. God knows how hard I tried to stop what I felt but it didn’t work. I can’t see life without you, I love you so much that I don’t care what any one thinks. Instead of running away, have you tried to give us…our relationship a chance?” Frederick asked.
“Frederick I…”
“Don’t leave me Fiona. Am nothing without you” he said as he sat up having a desperate look on his face.
“This is crazy…I don’t know why am even thinking about it when I know it’s wrong” Fiona said dampening the look of hope in Frederick.
“But then…am certain that if I don’t give it a try then I will regret it” she added earning that handsome smile of his.
“Is it what I think it is?” Frederick asked.
“Am not going to Australia, am staying here… with you” she said and that got him pulling her into his arms both falling back on the bed.
“Thanks Fiona” he said starring down at her while she layed by his side on the bed.
“Then you might want to eat now since…”
“I don’t care about food…all I want right now is to just cuddle you close, can I?” He asked and she gave a nod in reply.
Putting his arms around her, he pulled her close to his chest feeling contented at having her in his arms once again.

“Finish solving this so we can move onto the next phase” Cynthia said as she tried to smother a yawn.
“You look tired, why don’t you sleep on my bed until am done” Chris offered.
“That will be inappropriate” Cynthia refuse.
“It will take a while before am done, just take a nap for a while and I will wake you up ” Chris said and wanting not to seem rude, she agreed and went to take a nap.
She woke some minutes later to find the room empty.
“Where’s Chris?” She muttered as she pulled out her phone to call him.
She heard his phone ringing in the room and when she picked it up, it was to see the strange name he used in storing her name.
“Why on earth would call me his heartbeat?” She muttered about to set his phone down when a thought came across her mind.
Remembering the thing Connor mentioned about his starring at his phone all the time.
Cynthia found herself going through his messages and calls and then she went to his photo album and apart from his family, there were pictures of her on his phone.
Cynthia Kept telling herself that it’s not what she’s thinking but no matter how hard she search, there was no other picture of a girl apart from hers.
As soon as she heard the door, she spun around, hiding his phone behind her.
“You are up!” Chris said, a light smile on his face.
“I am. Can I ask you something Chris?”
“Sure”
“What do you call the lady you are in love with?”
“Err…why do you ask?”
“To err…to give you some tips. Girls like it when a guy give them a pet name and so you must have one for this lady you are in love with or you don’t?” She asked.
“Well I do have one” Chris replied.
“Which is…”
“My heartbeat” Chris said and immediately the phone fell off her hand.
“Oh my God…am the one you are in love with” she said….
