AVERY’S POV
I came out of the class, feeling weird and uncomfortable.
Why am I feeling that way? Exact feeling when I bumped into someone, same feeling talking in front of the class. Is it period? But I’ve done my period already.
What’s wrong with me?
“Avery!!” Adelaide snapped me out of my thoughts “What’s wrong with you? You’ve been acting weird since the presentation. You kept pacing out like a creepy weirdo”.”
I sighed “I’m sorry, it’s just… Hey Yolanda.”
“Sup guys, Olly asked me out on an funky date, so I have to go. Bye!” She said and left.
“Bye!” Adelaide and I replied.
“Come on, let’s go to the library.” I said and we went inside the library.
We sat at our regular seats, opened our books and we started studying for some minutes.
ADELAIDE’S POV
I begin to feel bored and sleepy while reading and Avery won’t allow me to use my phone.
She has been a great help, I’ve never been serious on my studies and getting good grades before I met her.
But now, I’ve been passing my tests, serious on my studies because of her.
She’s really a good friend and helped me a lot, that’s why Yolanda and I bought the rare game controller for her.
I wish I can do more for her to thank her.
What’s wrong with her? She’s pacing out again.
AVERY’S POV
I swiped the book to another page with a sigh.
I still can’t focus properly on the book. Why can’t I stop thinking about the person that bumped into me?
What’s wrong? Is it someone special? But who? I’ve never felt this type of sparks for Marcus.
ADELAIDE’S POV
“Avery!” I nudged her out of her thoughts again for the 4th time.
“Huh?”
“You’re doing it again.” I replied.
She shook her head “I’m sorry. I’m just confused.”
“About what?” I asked.
“Don’t worry about it. Let’s just focus on our studies, okay?” She said.
But I’m seriously worried about her. It’s like she’s not happy with something.
She sighed “Adelaide, I need to use the restroom. I’ll be right back.” She stood up and went.
“What’s even up with that Ɓîtçh?”
“What’s up with your dumb @zz, Kylie?!” I retorted rudely.
“You know, you should focus on yourself than other people.” Kylie said.
“Oh yeah? And why are you minding other people’s business? You couldn’t have a better life if not for your high school childish behaviour” I replied.
She scoffed angrily and went back to her friends.
I rolled my eyes and went back to my book.
The door was opened and a guy walked in and approached me with a smile.
I cringed feeling disturbed “What? I have a boyfriend.”
“I’m not trying to flirt with you, okay? I’m looking for your friend. Avery?” He asked.
“She also have a boyfriend.” I said, trying to protect Avery.
“What?” He exclaimed.
“Shhh, this is a library.” I whispered.
REX’S POV
That can’t be true. Avery has a boyfriend? Who?
No! I can’t believe this. She can’t just move on. What about me?
“Are you serious?” I asked.
“Yes. Now leave! I feel disturbed and disgusted.” The girl said.
No, it can’t be. Where is she? I need to talk to her.
AVERY’S POV
I did my business in the bathroom stall, wash my hand at the wash hand basin.
I heaved a sigh as I opened the door to come out. My eyes went wide in deep and great shock as I see him.
He’s talking with Adelaide.
No! No! No! No! It can’t be! No! Please tell me it’s a dream! Rex? No! Please, I’m not ready to see him.
I must hallucinating again. I hope so. I’ll close the door and opened it, I will wake up from my dream.
I closed the door quickly, closed my eyes too and sighed “Calm down Avery. It’s just a dream.” I said to myself.
I opened the door and saw no one with Adelaide.
I sighed of relief as I closed the door and smiled “Thank God, it’s just a dream.”
I should go back to Adelaide and act as if nothing happened.
I opened the door “Argh!!!!” I screamed as I saw Rex standing in front of me.
It’s not a dream!!! No!!!
“Hey.”
“ARGH!!!” I screamed louder and louder, collapsed and black out.
