” Is everything okay? How is Ryan now?” Yixuan asked as soon as Violet walked to class
” I don’t know but I have this feeling he isn’t okay.. I think he is sick..” Violet sigh
” Why? What makes you think so?” Yixuan asked
” Moments ago He was bleeding like crazy. I think he is suffering and I really want to help him, I so much want to ”
” Gosh, you’ve totally fallen for that demi-god.. yixuan laughed
” You always take things as a joke..” Violet rolled her eyes before looking at Jeffrey
” I’ll be back, I need to talk to Jeff. He’s been quiet and I don’t like it” she said and yixuan nodded.
She stood up and went to him
” Hey, Are you mad at me?” She asked
” I’m not…. I’m just mad at myself for telling you about my feelings late.. I wonder what you saw in Ryan that you had to defend him even when you barely know him..” Jeffrey replied not looking at her and she smiled
” Is that why you’re mad at me?” She laughed
” I’ll be sincere Jeff, even if you had confessed before I entered college, I wouldn’t have accepted your feelings… so you just need to cut the crap and go after yixuan.. she’s madly in love with you.. Violet smiled, pulling his cheeks playfully
” Stop that..” he said trying to release his face from her grip..
” People will think you wanna kiss me $h|t-head ” he teased
” What? $h|t-head?” She exclaimed before flicking his forehead.
” Dumb@zz.. she stuck out her tongue at him and he laughed
” Later then..” Violet made to go but then…
” Scholarship!!!”
” Oh, God” she facepalmed herself

She just ignore him and kept walking to her sit.. she was about seating when Remy walked up to her and it was his turn to pull her out of the class
” firstly, she defended Ryan and now Remy’s holding her? Gosh I’m moved” Claire said but Mara only rolled her eyes. She has been observing everything happening without saying a word
” But seriously, you aren’t a good human, you claim to like Ryan so much yet you couldn’t even defend him when Remy called him a murderer. If I were him, I would never choose you ” Claire added
‘ Wait, Claire is right, I was supposed to defend him right?’ Mara wondered
” Hey, are you listening?”.. Claire snapped her fingers in front of Mara who seem to be lost in thoughts
” Can you just keep quiet ” Mara snapped and angrily, she packed her things and left the class
” Why is she getting worked up?” Claire rolled her eyes before picking up her things too and leaving the class

” What’s your problem?” Violet release her hands from Remy’s
” I….” He trailed off
” Do you like Ryan that much?” He asked seriously and she scoffed
” Let me get this straight, so you took me all the way just to ask me this?” Violet asked, her hands at akimbo
” Why would you care for him then if you don’t like him? Why would you defend him then when you Know nothing about him? Why? Falling for his innocent looks?” Remy asked
” It’s none of your business if I like him or not, it shouldn’t bother you.. at least he’ll be happy to know an outsider likes him more than his own blood”. Violet replied sarcastically and he scoff
He wanted to say something but his phone rang and he sigh when he beheld the caller
” You’re boring.. ” he said instead before walking a distance away from her to pick his call
” You’re the most boring person I’ve ever seen.. you’re not even that handsome and you’re here being all hot-headed” she shouted after him and he chuckled
” She’s something else entirely”. he muttered before placing the phone on his ears
? Hi Mom..
? My baby.. Leyan smiled
? I’ve told you stop calling me that, I’m not a baby any longer.
? Remy…..
? I know you want me to come home but I’m not ready for that conversation” he cut in
? But I… Leyan didn’t complete her statement when he ended the call.
He sighed before dipping his phone back in his pocket. He turned but Violet wasn’t there any longer

” Let’s go home already, today is boring as it is” Violet said and Yixuan nodded in agreement
” Let’s go home..” Jeffrey appeared too and they all left the class
Seconds later, the students had started dispersing not minding Mr George’s presence in the class
Before Mr George could fathom what was going on, the whole class was now empty. He shook his head before walking back to his office
” Those kids..” he muttered

Leyan sat infront of her desktop, deep in thoughts when the door burst open and her husband entered
” Hey ” he said but She didn’t bother to smile at him instead, she just looked else where.
Li Xue exhaled at her action before walking closer to her
” It’s Remy again isn’t it? I bet that son of yours refuse to come home” he said
” He’s our son Xue, your blood..” Leyan rolled her eyes
” I didn’t asked him to run away from home, he did that himself. I remember he ran out of the house few week after Lishu’s dead but he came back home on his own accord and then what happened? He ran away again !!”
” Then why isn’t he coming back home this time around?” Leyan asked
” That’s because he has a mother who caters for his needs!! That boy won’t come home because you keep sending him money..” Xue replied
” What are you suggesting I do?” Leyan raised a brow
” Cut off his credit card ” Xue said sternly
” You’re heartless, you wanna ki|| him? Aren’t you even tired of making your kids h@ťě you? Firstly you were forcing Remy to read, I bet he ran out using Lishu’s dead as an excuse to escape from you, you monster!!”
” Leyan.. Xue called angrily. ” that’s enough”
” Of course not, you’ve practically turned Ryan to the loner he is now, have you ever thought about his dream? If he wants to become the business man you want him to be?” Leyan yelled
Her office was soundproof so no one could hear them
” My baby wanted to become a musician, a superstar, he wanted the world to know him, he wanted to impress his siblings. I believe you also know he is very good at it after you attended his performance at school when him and Remy were just 12!!”
” Lishu and Remy were the only one who supported him, all I did was support you in everything you did because I wanted the best for my kids!” She yelled in tears
Xue pulled her into a comforting hug when couldn’t take it any longer
It’s been long he had an argument with his wife. He couldn’t believe she was really crying because of their kids
” I’m sorry ” he said, stroking her hair
” This is what is gonna happen… He paused and she looked up at him
” I’ll asked someone to track his device immediately, then I’ll ask Stephen and some of the guards to go get him..”
” You’ll do that? You can’t go back on your words later” she said and he nodded
” Happy now?” Xue asked calmly and she nodded, disengaging from the hug
” I’ll talk to Stephen now ” he smiled at her before walking out of her office
” Women and their trouble..” he sighed, fixing his tie
” Allowing Ryan become a musician? That’s absurd, none of my son would be something as low as that!!” He scoffed walking into Stephen’s office
” Good afternoon sir”… Stephen bowed
” That’s enough, you know my son.. Remy?” Xue asked
” Yes Sir..
” I need you to track his device, and after you must have gotten his location, make sure you see me, I’ll tell you what to do next”..he said and Stephen nodded
” Do a good job..” he added before walking out of the office while Stephen sat down immediately, connecting his phone with the computer and without wasting much time, he immediately found his location
” That was quite simple.. he smiled, walking out of his office
