” I love you Violet..” he repeated
She stared at him not wanting to believe what just left his mouth
She smiled and hit him playfully on his chest.
” Gosh Jeff, don’t you think you’re taking the joke too far?” She asked taking her bag from the couch
” I am n….
” I’ll be sincere with you Jeff, I’ve never for once thought of this.. you know why? Because i’ve always seen you like an elder brother I never had” she said and he blinked back continuously
” Violet I…
” I’ll pretend we never had this conversation” she cut him off and made to leave but what he said next made her stop on her tracks
” Ryan.. you have feelings for him?” He asked.
” I don’t know what you’re talking about” she said entering her room

” I feel sorry for Jeffrey..” Kylie said and her sister sighed
” I know right. Love is complicated, I’m never gonna fall inlove” Kira replied.
They had actually listened to their conversation. They came visiting but ended up eavesdropping on their conversation
” Wait, who is this Ryan?” Kylie asked
” I dunno, but he must be pretty handsome for Violet to fall for him don’t you think?” Kira said
” I just hope he’s a good person” Kylie replied and they turned to leave when they bumped into someone
” Mom.. ” They both chorused looking up at their mom who had an angry expression on
” Oops….
” I told you both not to leave the house didn’t I?” Laura, their mom yelled
” Mom.. can you please spare us this once huh?” Kylie pleaded
” No I won’t. Now come here”
Before their mom could take a step forward, they ran their way to the house

” Even if you don’t feel nothing, can’t you just stay with me today?” He asked
” The competition is important Jeff, I can’t guarantee I’ll be staying with you” She replied and walked out of the house while Jeffrey followed behind sadly

” Good afternoon mrs Zhan” Violet hugged her
” What’s wrong? You’re not your usual self?” Mrs Zhan, disengaging from the hug
” I’m not happy, I’m so confuse right now” she sighed and sitting down
” Did something happen? Did you fall in love? Did your heart beat for someone? Mrs Zhan asked in a whisper
” I dunno and it’s driving me nuts ” Violet replied
” What’s wrong?”
” I wasn’t gonna kiss him back, I swear I wasn’t! But then I did and my heart was beating like crazy. Am I going crazy? What’s wrong with me?” She asked and Mrs Zhan chuckled
” You’re in love dummy” Mrs Zhan replied with a smile
” In Love? Expensive Joke ” Violet scoff
” Anyways, It’s nothing, it can’t be considered love”
” I know right? It can’t be love” she said and Mrs Zhan nodded, stifling back a laugh
She held her heart as if she was trying to calm it down.
” Gosh, I was scared for nothing ” She sighed and walked to the inner room to change.
” The Silly girl has fallen completely” Mrs Zhan laughed softly

Ryan kept staring at her number wondering if he should call her or not.
” I shouldn’t get attached to her ” He muttered and click on the message icon
? I WON’T BE AT THE HOSTEL, SO WE WON’T BE STUDYING TOGETHER. He sent and threw his phone randomly on the bed

Violet checked her phone immediately the message came in. She felt sad staring at the message.
What was wrong with her?
” Why am I sad? I should be Happy ” She said to herself while Mrs Zhan chuckled at her behavior

Remy sat in the sitting room with his friends watching a movie but his mind wasn’t there
There was only one thing on his mind right now and it was “how to hurt his brother’s feelings”
He couldn’t understand Ryan like he used to anymore.. though they were brothers, yet he still couldn’t figure if he truly likes Violet or not
” Should I continue with being friends with her” he wondered
” It will be so much fun seeing him sad the way he made me ” he smirked
“Are you okay?” Justin tapped him, jotting him out of his thoughts
” Something bothering you?” Reece asked too sitting next to him
” Nah, nothing. I’m fine ” he replied taking his phone from the table.

” What do you think about Ryan? Don’t you think he’s getting closer to Violet too much?” Mara asked pacing from one end of the room to another
” Closer to Violet? It’s possible… First of all, she’s pretty, she has a cute smile and she’s intelligent too. They’ll make a great couple… moreover the competition even brought them together, isn’t that fate?” Claire smiled, dreamingly
Mara smacked her head
” Ouch, What’s that for? ” Claire frowned
” You’ve being spouting out rubbish lately, such a ki||-joy ” Mara scoff before walking to her bed
” It can’t be true, he’s supposed to like just me. She mean nothing to him” she comforted herself.
She didn’t want to think about Violet getting Ryan’s attention else she might end up ki||ing Violet herself
