FAMICS APARTMENT

“Finally! Home sweet home!” Anna screamed, leaving her bags at the door and running straight to her room upstairs.

“Who does she expect to carry this for her?” Ivory asked no one in particular.

“Gosh I never knew I would miss this place so much.” Swayer sighed.

“But it was a fun trip, won’t y’all agree?” Fabiola smiled broadly.

“Which part exactly? Trying not to get ki||ed or spending an entire day with those bridge students?” Chrystal asked, rolling her eyes.

“Oh c’mon, they weren’t so bad…” Fabiola trailed off when everyone including Swayer glared at her.

“The only reason you’re saying this is because you spent most of your time with Shaun.” Maeve chuckled.

“He’s my boyfriend, who else would I spend it with?” Fabiola winked facing Swayer.

“Speaking of boyfriend’s, what’s going on between you and my brother?” She grinned and Swayer froze as her eye balls shifted from one curious face to the other.

“Wh-at do you mean?” She stuttered.

“Oh c’mon Swayer you can’t fool us. I noticed the way you two were looking at each other. You were literally glued to his side after the competition.” Chrystal smirked.

“Is there something we don’t know?” Ivory asked trying to keep a straight face even though she felt like exploding within.

“I… I think… who’s hungry?” Swayer asked awkwardly, trying to change the topic.

Fabiola shook her head a bit with a smile on her face as she carried her bags.

“Don’t worry Sway, I won’t strangle you in your sleep if you two were actually dating.” She winked before walking towards her room.

“Wait what?!” Swayer widened her eyes and the rest burst into a loud laughter.

“Gosh I never want to see the likes of those bridge students again.” Chrystal groaned, falling on the couch.

“Same here. Did you see how that Natalia girl kept staring at Sebastian? I think she likes him.” Fiona who hasn’t said anything finally spoke up.

“More like she feels guilty for how she treated him at the event center.” Maeve said, sitting beside Chrystal.

“Hey find another chair!” Chrystal pushed her off immediately, making her fall to the ground.

“Gosh Chrystal, why don’t you just marry the couch.” Maeve scoffed before sitting on another couch.

“Did anyone notice Natasha’s miraculous change? It’s like she’s a different person now and I think kandle has something to do with it.” Fiona said bringing out her phone.

“Wh@ťěver, as long as she gets off our backs.” Ivory sighed.

“So what now?” Anna asked as she entered the living room.

“We thought you would spend the rest of your day in your room since you seemed so happy to be back.” Chrystal replied.

“Of course not. Hey how about we throw a party!” Anna said excitedly.

“Are you kidding? We’ve never thrown a party here before.” Maeve frowned.

“There’s always a first time for everything and besides lots of people will come since almost everyone have been wanting to see the interiors of the famics building.” Anna chuckled.

“Well it’s better than doing nothing. I mean I’m bored already.” Swayer shrugged.

“And that’s why you’re my favorite.” Anna winked at Swayer.

“Count me in as well. I have nothing to do anyways.” Fiona shrugged.

“So it’s settled then.” Maeve said with a heavy sigh.

“What’s settled?” Fabiola asked as she entered the living room.

“We are throwing a party tonight!” Anna screamed and everyone covered their ears.

“Jeez Anna that’s enough shouting for today.” Ivory sighed.

“Oh don’t be a ki|| joy. The party would be much louder than my tiny voice.” Anna winked and brought out her phone.
She immediately posted on the Slap about the party and that everyone is invited.

immediately she clicked send, everyone’s phone buzzed and they checked it to see Anna’s post.

“And it’s official. We better start preparations.” Fiona yawned. She’s already tired.

CAFETERIA

Sebastian kept staring at the concussion on kandle’s plate. They had all gone to the cafeteria since they were hungry and didn’t have strength to leave school.

“Dude, are you for real?” He finally asked.
Kandle looked up with a questionable gaze.

“What on earth are you eating?” Shaun asked almost laughing.

“What? You should try it. It’s yummy.” Kandle replied and shoved another fork full of spaghetti, rice, boiled groundnut and hot sauce into his mouth, chewing so fast like his life depends on the meal.

“Its really sad I’m not your roommate. I won’t get to see the after effect of this on you.” Ethan sighed and kandle glared at him.

“Hey guys, the girls are throwing a part tonight.” Kyle said showing them Anna’s post on the Slap.

“I wonder where they get their strength from, I can barely walk without feeling like fainting.” Kandle muffled as he has his mouth stuffed.

“Try swallowing first dude. It’s too early for a death report.” Shaun joked and the rest laughed at him.

“They’re back!!!” A girl screamed and about sixteen girls rushed to their tables and began taking pictures and hugging and pecking the guys at the table.

They looked really shocked and couldn’t even move.

“Since when did we become popular?” Sebastian asked, trying his best to stop the girls that have been trying to hug or kiss his cheek. He did allow them to take selfies.

“Who cares! Come to daddy!” Kyle said loudly, carrying a girl on his lap as she took pictures of herself with him.

“Gosh this guy.” Shaun shook his head, standing up from the table. He didn’t want to have anymore argument with Fabiola so he decided to just respect himself and leave.
Sebastian followed him immediately, leaving the rest.

“Are you going to the party?” Sebastian suddenly asked Shaun.

“Of course. Fabiola would be furious if I don’t go.” Shaun said with a frightened look as he began imagining what would happen if he doesn’t go.

“You really care about my sister this much? I’m impressed.” Sebastian chuckled.

Shaun stopped walking immediately, getting Sebastian’s attention.

“Seb, there’s something I want to tell you but you have to promise me you won’t get mad.

“If you want to tell me you’re breaking up with my sugar then consider your face ruined.” Sebastian glared and Shaun immediately swallowed hard.

“It’s a good thing I have no plan of doing that.” He muttered facing Sebastian again.

“I just need to get it off so you know that I really care about your sister now.”

“Okay, what is it?” Sebastian asked with a straight face.

“Fabiola and I weren’t real couples at first and don’t ki|| me because i already know it was foolish of me using her just to get Natasha’s attention and I swear I would never have done that if I knew she would end up falling in love with me or maybe I knew it would happen but was just so desperate to get Natasha that I…” Shaun trailed off as Sebastian’s expression hadn’t changed since he started talking. He was already shaking internally, expecting a punch or two from him and yet he doesn’t seem to be moved by what he’s been saying.

“Why did you stop?” Sebastian asked as he was enjoying seeing Shaun blabbing like a scared lady.

“The question is why aren’t you mad? You seem relaxed, too relaxed.” Shaun said taking two steps backwards just to be safe.

“Cause I’m not dumb Shaun. I know my sister to be a smart lady. There was no way she would get a boyfriend so early after joining a school and I noticed how you always look at Natasha when you two are together. It’s the look of someone trying to make another jealous. You wanted Natasha to notice you so much that you forgot others would be watching as well. I just didn’t want to say anything cause I trust Fabiola not to do stupid things. The most important thing now is that you two love each other and nothing more.” Sebastian said with a smile leaving Shaun speechless.

“Stop staring at me like that dude, it’s creepy!” Sebastian snapped and Shaun came back to his senses.

“Men, when did you become so wise?” Shaun joked hanging his arm around Sebastian’s neck.
“Now that that’s settled, let’s go crash that party.” He said and they both walked towards their hostel.

LIBRARY

Natasha sighed as she flipped through the history book, still not understanding a single thing. Her body might be in the library but her consciousness wasn’t there. She was thinking of her parents non stop. She was more scared of their final exams which would mean end of the term for them. She didn’t want to go home to only one parent.

Kandle got her spot and she still didn’t take notice of his presence. He has actually been looking for her and some students said they saw her heading to the library.

He took a seat next to her and that’s when she finally came back to her senses.

“When did you get here?” She asked with slightly widened eyes.

“That’s not important. What’s wrong?” Kandle asked instead.

“Nothing really, just thinking.” She sighed, closing the book. Its not like shes reading it anyways.

“Are you going to the party?” Kandle asked, trying to cheer her up a bit.

“I don’t think I was invited.” Natasha shrugged.

“Did you see any special invitation card? It’s on the Slap which means anyone who’s interested is invited.” Kandle said standing up.

“Are you going?” Natasha asked and he nodded.

“You should come too. It’ll be fun and I’ll be expecting you.” He said with a smile before leaving.

Natasha picked up the book and put it in her bag before leaving as well. A party is just what she needs to get her mind off a lot of things.
