?CHAPTER 6&7 ?

Swayer froze the moment he said that. She did feel somehow earlier before coming to MacDonalds but it didn’t occur to her that it’s her…gosh how embarrassing. She had three days left but it came out early.

Sebastian noticed she was reluctant to even check herself so he decided to give her privacy. The moment he shut the door, Swayer turned, trying to check if she was stained and yes, her blue swede trousers were now coloured red. Thank goodness this is night time, it’d have been the topic of the day.

She rushed back into the bathroom and decided to have a bath. She washed the messed up shirt and trousers as well. She put on the tampon along with the jean Sebastian got her and he’s shirt before coming out.

Sebastian had a book to his face when she came out.

“You read novels as well?” She asked looking at the beautiful book cover.

Sebastian lowered his hands to see her. He almost chuckled seeing her in his big shirt and that black jean. She’s just so small.

“I read when I’m bored.” He replied covering his face again with the book.

“Impossible Paradise?” Swayer raised a brow, sitting beside him on the bed.

“It’s a book by my favorite author, AR Boranzia.” He shrugged.

Swayer chuckled. ‘He’s really cute.’ she said within smiling a bit.

“Your phone’s been buzzing nonstop.” Sebastian said not taking his eyes off the book.

Swayer got to her feet immediately, grabbing her bag. 12 missed calls from Anna, 7 voice mails and 3 text messages from Chrystal.

“I’m so dead.” She muttered, putting the phone back in her bag.

“Thank you so much Sebastian but I really need to get going right now.” She smiled turning to leave even before he could reply.

After shutting the door, she turned around only to see Shaun coming up. He furrowed his brows upon seeing her here.

“Hi…Shaun right?” Swayer asked smiling sweetly.

Shaun gave a dry nod.

“Nice meeting you. Have a goodnight.” Swayer said, running down the stairs.

Shaun opened the room door immediately and met Sebastian still on the same spot, with his book.

“Dude, I just saw Swayer leaving. What’s she doing here?” Shaun asked dropping his bag.

“She needed help.” Sebastian replied, still focused on his book.

Shaun simply gave a nod and fell heavily on his bed. He’s been feeling down since today.

Sebastian brought down the book when he noticed Shaun being unusually quiet.

“You okay?” He asked raising a brow.

“Honestly, I’m not.” Shaun heaved.

Sebastian put down the book, moving to Shaun’s bed.

“What’s up?”

“Have you seen Natasha today?” Shaun asked instead.
Sebastian frowned a bit remembering what Natasha did to Swayer.

“Why what’s up?” He asked.

“We were paired for that biology practical but she hasn’t made a single contribution ever since. She’s been chasing…” Shaun trailed off. He didn’t want Sebastian to know Natasha has a crush on him.

“She’s been chasing?” Sebastian raised a brow.

“Nevermind dude.” Shaun sighed, leaving the bed and heading towards the small Freezer.

“How long have you two known each other?” Sebastian asked him.

Shaun seems thoughtful for a while.

“Well, we’ve been friends since middle school but I owe it all to the FAMICS.” he said taking out cold water from the fridge.

“How?”

“Well Natasha and Swayer use to be best friends in middle school. Until Swayer started being friends with Fiona who eventually introduced her to Ivory and Chrystal. Anna and Maeve enrolled newly at that moment so they all got along real quick and became really close. I guess Natasha wasn’t getting the attention she use to get from Swayer anymore and that pissed her off. She began distancing herself from Swayer as she h@ťěd the rest. That’s how we ended up becoming friends.
I was just another loner in middle school and Natasha became my first and only friend.” Shaun said before drinking from the water bottle.

“So that’s why she’s so bitter towards Swayer. Swayer is actually a nice person and she’s not like the rest.” Sebastian said. Shaun turned to him with a slight frown.

“You two are partners right?” He asked and Sebastian gave a nod.

“Have you started the assignment?”

“We are almost done.” Sebastian said going back to his bed and picking up his book.

“Swayer may be nice but as long as she’s hanging out with the rest, people will only see her to be a proud billionaires daughter just like the rest. Show me your friends and I’ll tell you who you are, remember?” Shaun said and Sebastian paused for a bit before resuming in his reading.

Shaun did have a point but non of that is his business. He’s only here to study and nothing else.

PAPER LANTERN

Anna waited endlessly for Swayer to arrive. Her feet were beginning to hurt as she’s been standing for more than thirty minutes. Chrystal had gone into the building to meet with that hacker friend of hers.

Swayer finally got to the paper lantern and the angry look on Anna’s face made her wish she could just go back to where she’s coming from.

“What the h*ll Swayer!” Anna scolded.

“Anna I can explain okay, I also had an emergency…”

“What f_cking emergency is more urgent than this!” Anna yelled.

Swayer was about replying when Chrystal came out with a strange girl.

“Oh great she’s finally here.” Chrystal rolled her eyes at Swayer.

“Who is she?” Swayer asked.

“This is Gracie Barra, she’s one hell of a hacker.” Chrystal introduced. Gracie smiled at Swayer and then Anna before facing Chrystal.

“Can I have my pay now?” She frowned at Chrystal. She had already taken down the tweet and erased every retweets and shares made. It’s like it never happened. She also hacked into Kyles account and blocked him from the Slap.

“How much?” Swayer asked and Gracie frowned at her.

“She’s not asking for money.” Chrystal said in an odd way.

“Then what do you want?” Anna asked.

“She…wants a girlfriend.” Chrystal dragged.
Swayer and Anna exchanged glances looking perplexed.

“She wants one of us to be her girlfriend for a month.” Chrystal added.

”What! What kind of payment is that?” Anna frowned.

“I can just undo all I’ve done if you’re not interested.” Gracie frowned.

“No no, just give us a minute.” Chrystal said dragging Anna and Swayer aside.

”What the h*ll Chrystal! Why didn’t you just bargain something else!” Anna yelled.

“Calm down already! I did tell you it comes with a price.” Chrystal rolled her eyes.

“So what, we’re just supposed to act lesbian for a month?!” Swayer yelled.

“Not all of us, just one and c’mon it won’t be that bad.” Chrystal smiled.

“Then how about you go and be her girlfriend.” Anna smirked.

“What! Have you forgotten I have a boyfriend you witch.” Chrystal glared at her.

“I am not dating any girl and that’s final. You both deal with this mess.” Swayer said walking away.

“Where the f_ck are you off to again!” Chrystal yelled.

“To get a goodnight sleep.” Swayer said not turning back.

Anna sighed and cursed within as she knew she would be the one to pay the price.

“If I do this, you owe me big time.” She sighed walking over to Gracie.

“You’ve got yourself a deal.” Anna said smiling a bit.

“Great. Come in.” Gracie said turning around.

“Wait what, now?” Anna frowned.

“Do you want us to make out here?” Gracie asked and Anna turned helplessly to Chrystal who just smiled, giving her a thumbs up.
