He sighed, walking away from the door and into the living room. He couldn’t sleep and normally at his house, he would just pick a book and start reading till he falls asleep but he didn’t know if they were any books here since he’s yet to see the entire interiors of the house.
He decided to take a swim but change his mind since the weather is cool but nevertheless he still went outside to the backyard and met Maeve there.
He smiled sitting next to her. Maeve looked up in shock but said nothing.
“I thought this was Ivory’s spot and yours the studio.” Sebastian said breaking the silence.
“It’s a house not an office. I didn’t know you were here.” Maeve replied. She had cuddled her legs up, holding then with her hands.
“My sister forced me to or maybe I actually wanted to.” He admitted.
“Can I ask you something?” Maeve said facing him.
“Sure.”
“What would you do if you like someone but then you find out your best friend also like the same person?”
Sebastian seemed thoughtful for a while before facing her.
“Well, I’ll follow my heart. We might both like the same person but it’s up to that person to choose and if she chooses me, I won’t hesitate to make her mine. You can’t force someone to like you neither can you force your heart to stop liking a person. It’s all a gradual process.” Sebastian smiled.
Maeve looked away from him with a heavy sigh.
“So you’re saying I should let the person choose between us both? Like a bet?” Maeve asked.
“I’m saying you should listen to your heart.” Sebastian said standing up.
“You should come in so you don’t catch a cold.” He added before going in.
Maeve pondered on what he said.
“Let the person choose.” She muttered before standing up as well. She would let him choose then.
Next day…
INTERNATIONAL DODGEBALL DAY 1
Swayer groaned as Anna dragged her off her bed. Fabiola had already left with Sebastian. They didn’t wanna disturb her sleep since she seemed so exhausted but Anna doesn’t care.
“Come on Sway, we need to get to school.” Anna smiled, stripping Swayer of her nightgown.
“Why? Today’s gonna be a mess. I don’t get why this is even a thing I mean, international dodgeball day? It’s stupid.” Swayer whined as Anna pushed her into the bathroom.
“You’re only complaining because last year you got a black eye.” Anna laughed.
“I h@ťě dodgeball. Last year they paired us against each other and you gave me a freaking black eye!” Swayer glared at her, soaking herself in the tub.
“It was an accident and you refused to dock. It’s an exciting game Sway and it’s part of our extra curricular activity.”
Swayer sighed, shutting her eyes.
International dodgeball day is a special day where schools especially Salvatore holds a gaming event only for dodgeball. They would group students into eight different teams, ten person’s per team and they would compete against one another until there’s a total of two teams remaining. Those two teams would also compete against one another and the winner gets to take home a ten million peso trophy and five hundred thousand peso cash.
Not like the money matters to them since their parents are rich but the event is a really fun one..for some people that is. Most people just use it as a revenge mechanism especially when they get paired with someone who wronged them.
Swayer got out of the bathroom minutes later to see her uniform neatly placed on the bed. Today and every other festival day is the only time when Salvatore students would be required to wear uniforms matching that event.
Anna entered the room fully dressed in her purple and white tracksuit, carrying a grin on her face.
“What are you wearing?” Swayer frowned looking at the big tracksuit on her small body.
“What? I like it.” Anna stuck out her tongue. She had her uniform worn under the tracksuit.
“You look like a cheerleading coach right now. Take that off Anna it doesn’t even match the uniform.” Swayer sighed picking up her clothes. She looked around the room and finally realized Fabiola isn’t in.
“They left.” Anna said before she could even ask.
“They?” Swayer furrowed her brows.
“Sebastian as well. They should be in school by now.” Anna said looking at herself in the mirror. “you’re right, I should just take this off.” she added, pulling off the track suit.
Swayer chuckled, putting on her clothes.
“Chrystal already left, she said she would be a little late as she had to see her dad briefly.” Anna said as they left the room
“Who else isn’t around?” Swayer asked.
“Just Chrystal. You’re driving me.” Anna ordered and Swayer chuckled.
“Bossy.” She said shaking her head.
SALVATORE ACADEMY
Fabiola came out of the ladies room, yawning as she hadn’t eaten anything yet. She decided to go to the cafeteria before the event starts.
Shaun spotted her going into the cafeteria and followed her. He grabbed her arm before she could reach the food counter.
“Where have you been?” He frowned.
“I don’t have to answer that.” Fabiola said yanking her arm off. She made to turn again but Shaun grabbed her hand again this time dragging her out of the cafeteria.
“Hey let go of me!” Fabiola yelled looking back at the cafeteria door. She pouted her lips as she’s really hungry. “I said let go of me!” She yelled again but Shaun ignored her until they got to an empty classroom.
He dragged her in, locking the door so she won’t run out.
“Start talking?” He said in a domineering tone.
“Excuse me? I’m not the one who ditched because of his so called best friend. You didn’t even come after me when I left! Instead you got even cosy with her!” Fabiola glared at him.
“I did look for you-”
“Was that before or after you were done with her?” Fabiola cut him off.
“Hey I’m sorry okay. We can’t be arguing this early, I mean it’s barely two weeks since we started dating.”
“Fake dating.” Fabiola corrected crossing her arms across her chest.
“Fine fake dating. Your brother has made it clear to deal with me if I hurt you so please don’t let that happen.” Shaun said in a shaking tone.
“It depends on you boyfriend. You asked for my help and I agreed to help you but I won’t let you treat me like $h|t. If you want people to believe this then you have to be all in! I come first okay? Natasha maybe your best friend but you must put me first!” Fabiola scolded, breathing heavily.
“Okay fine. I’m sorry.” Shaun smiled.
“Can I go now. I’m starving.”
“If I get a kiss I’ll buy you breakfast.” Shaun smirked.
“What’s the point when it’s fake.” Fabiola rolled her eyes.
“I’m still your boyfriend.” Shaun pouted his lips.
“No one is watching so it’s not necessary. Let’s just go.” Fabiola sighed walking past him to open the door but Shaun grabbed her, pinning her to the door.
“Who says anyone had to be watching?” He smirked naughtily, smashing his lips roughly on hers. Truth be told, he’s been missing those soft strawberry lips of hers. He’s getting addicted to kissing it.
Fabiola grabbed his shirt to support herself as she responded to the kiss. She can’t really explain why she always melts into his arms everytime he kisses her. This is just suppose to be a fake deal but everything feels so real, so right.
She opened up for him and he drove his tongue into her mouth, exploring every inch of it as he sucked the hell out of her lips. When they finally broke the kiss, their lips were swollen, with Fabiola’s being the worse.
“I think I’m getting addicted to those lips of yours.” Shaun said trying to catch his breath.
“Can you feed me now, I’m hungry.” Fabiola said ignoring his comment. She’s really hungry and won’t hear anything else until her tommy is Satisfied.
“Fine.” Shaun said pecking her lips before unlocking the door. He released her from the cage and she immediately opened the door coming out. They bumped into Sebastian while going out and he frowned upon seeing Fabiola’s swollen lips but after looking at Shaun, he didn’t need to ask what happened. He just shook his head, walking past them.
Fabiola bit her lips feeling a little embarrassed.
“Where are we going?” She faced Shaun.
“McDonald’s. it’s closest to the school.” Shaun replied taking her arm and leading her to the school gate.
“You don’t have a car?” Fabiola frowned as she wasn’t looking forward to trekking there.
“I didn’t think I needed one.” Shaun faced her.
“You have a girlfriend now, you shouldn’t let her walk around with you.”
“Fine I’ll get one tomorrow.” Shaun sighed and she nodded.

30 minutes later…
The event had begun with the team division.
There are eight teams as predicted but not all students are playing. There’s no way all Salvatore students can participate so only fee are playing while the rest are sitting at the bleachers to support their teammates.
There is TEAM ALPHA
TEAM DELTA
TEAM RAILER
TEAM GOLD
TEAM MERCURY
TEAM BILL
TEAM KINGS and lastly
TEAM COLOMBIA
Sebastian, Natasha, Fiona, Ethan, Indie, Kyle, Chrystal and Kandle were on team Delta.
while
Swayer, Fabiola, Caleb, Shaun, Anna, Maeve, Otis and Ivory were on team Colombia.
As their names are arranged, that’s how they are going to compete.
The first team to compete was team Alpha and team Colombia. Team Colombia won. Then team Alpha and team Delta, team Delta won and team Alpha got disqualified after loosing again to team bill.
The next was team Bill and team mercury, team mercury won. Team bill and team kings, team kings won. Because team bill had won team Alpha, they were given one more chance to play team gold but sadly team gold won.
Team gold and team Colombia, team Colombia won. Team gold and team Delta, team Delta won. Team gold and team mercury, team gold won so they were given one more chance to play team kings and team kings won.
That was the first round with team Gold, Bill and team Alpha disqualified.
Fabiola exhaled drinking water. She’s only played two rounds and she already feels like fainting. The rules of the game were simple. Knock your opponent down with a ball.
The second round started and team Mercury, Kings and Railer got disqualified, leaving only team Delta and Colombia to compete against each other.
