★WILKERSON ENTERPRISES≈IN THE EVENING★
Angelo closed his laptop and grabbed his bag from the seat beside him, he was about standing up when Alex and Adrian entered
“I’m leaving already” Angelo said and they nodded
“Are you sure you don’t want us to follow you?” Alex asked again and Angelo looked at him keenly
“I will be fine, Gosh!! I’m not a kid” Angelo rolled his eyes
“It doesn’t matter” Alex mumbled only to Adrian’s hearing and Adrian chuckled, Angelo glared at the both of them
“If it’s late, I will just go to my house close to that area, but if it’s not, I will be coming back this night” Angelo said, he grabbed his phone from the desk and started walking out
“Be careful” Alex shouted and Angelo gave him the f-__-k you finger making them chuckle
Angelo pressed a button on the car key and a car beeped from the garage, he opened the door and dropped his bag at the passenger seat before sitting in the driver’s seat, he ignited the engine and drove into the road, he switched on the radio and started nodding his head to the song playing from it, he was looking atound until his eyes landed on a lady, she looked familiar to him and he didn’t stop staring until he saw her face
“Alaina? What the hell is she doing alone by this time? Wait!! She didn’t bring her car?” he asked himself, he slowed down the car to stop beside her but he saw a guy appear at her back
“Ohhh, her boyfriend is with her” he scoffed and was about zooming off when he saw how the guy grabbed her and started rough handling her
“What the f-__-k!! Is he insane?” he thought, he didn’t wait a minute before stopping the car and he jumped out of it into the road, the guy was about grabbing her again when he hit him from the back.
★PRESENT TIME★
“Mr Angelo!!!!
“You okay?”. Angelo asked and she nodded breathing shakily
“I’m… I’m fine” she tried standing up and he helped her up
“What are you doing here by this time?” he asked and she looked at him
“I was going home” she answered
“Your car?” he asked
“I didn’t feel like bringing it to school today” she replied
“You almost got assaulted because of your carelessness, what if nobody was here to help you?” Angelo scolded
“I didn’t….and wait!! Why are you scolding me?” she glared
“Back to your crazy mode I guess” he muttered
“Heyy…I’m not crazy” she shouted
“If you know you want to walk alone in the night like this, them take someone with you, it’s too dangerous walking around alone around this time, do you understand?” he instructed
“You are not my mum” she answered and he tapped his forehead
“You didn’t even thank me for saving you, you brat!!” Angelo said
“Brat? I didn’t ask you to save me, did I?” she asked and he looked at her, she stucked her tongue out at him and he chuckled
“Let’s go, I will take you home” He said
“Thank you for saving me” she suddenly said
“Woah!! You know how to thank someone” he said
“I’m not that bad okay?” She replied
“Hmmm…
“You are not with your guards today?” she asked
“I was supposed to be somewhere but I couldn’t ignore you when you are in need of help” He replied and she smiled
“I thought you were cold-hearted, i didn’t know you had a good heart also” She said and his eyes widened
“Why are you talking to me like we are age mates?” he asked loudly
“You started it first, Respect is reciprocal please” She said and he scoffed
“Are you gonna take me home or not?” She asked and he looked at her before walking to his car
“Hey!! Wait for me” Alaina screamed after him and he smiled secretly.
★WILKERSON MANSION≈ARIELLE’S ROOM★
Arielle sat down on her dressing chair with her phone in her hands, she clicked on her contacts and tried calling Jordan but she couldn’t do it
“Ohh f-__-k, what do I do?” she muttered to herself and tried clicking on his name again but she still couldn’t, she suddenly went to her message and clicked on his name
”TO JORDAN : I’m sorry” she typed but she deleted it
“I didn’t mean to do that” she typed again but she deleted it
“I’m sorry if I made you feel bad” she typed again but she deleted it again
“You were never a second choice” she typed again but still deleted it
“I took Kingston just to set things straight with him” she typed again but she deleted it
“I will make it up to you tomorrow” she typed again but deleted it
“Can we talk about this tomorrow?” she typed and was about pressing send, she was about deleting it when her hands mistakenly pressed the send button and she gasped
“f-__-k!! What have I done?” she panicked, she looked at it and saw that he has read it, she gasped immediately
“f-__-k!! Is he gonna reply?” she hoped
“I don’t want to talk about it, I will talk to you when I’m okay” he sent and she sighed before dropping her phone, she put her knees up to her chest and buried her face I’m her legs, a tear escaped her eyes.
★KINGSTON’S HOUSE★
“Kingsley, don’t go there, let’s just stay here” Kingston shouted but he didn’t listen
“It’s fine, it’s safe, come and join me” Kingsley replied
“It’s really not safe, stay away from there, you might fall inside” Kingston shouted
“Gosh!! Fine I’m coming” Kingsley said and was about coming up but his leg slipped
“Ahhhh” Kingston screamed back to life and the maid rushed in immediately
“Are you okay?” she asked
“I had the dream again, I swear I didn’t push him” Kingston cried
“I know, your mum is gonna understand you one day” she said and wiped the traces of sweat on his forehead
“Clean up and come down for dinner” she said and he nodded, he sighed before grabbing his towel and he entered the bathroom.
★JENKIN’S HOUSE★
Angelo’s car stopped in front of her house and she got down
“Thanks for saving me today and thanks for the ride” She smiled
“I might ask you to pay me back, so be prepared” he said and she looked at him
“Hmmm, if it’s something I can give, fine then” she replied and he smiled
“You can go in, I will watch till you enter” he said and she smiled, she nodded her head before turning towards her house and he waited till she entered as promised, immediately she entered, he ignited the engine and drove off also
“He dropped you off again” Jordan said
“Hmm…
“Who is he?” He asked
“I told you who he was already” she said and he scoffed
“I almost got assaulted today, he saved me” Alaina suddenly said and he rushed to her immediately
“What did you just say?” he asked
“Some guy tried kidnapping me but I guess he was on his way somewhere, he saw me and saved me” she explained
“Why didn’t you go out with your car today?” he asked worriedly
“I just didn’t feel like” she replied
“No matter what, always go out with your car, what if he wasn’t there and something happened to you” He said
“I’m fine, nothing happened to me” she rolled her eyes
“Don’t tell mum and dad about this okay?” she said and he nodded
“Today is 15th, are you okay?” he asked
“What happens on 15th?” she asked
“Seriously….
“Ohh yeah, i completely forgot, I’ve been feeling pains in my Tommy for a while now, my mind didn’t even go there” she said
“Is it much?” he asked
“Not that much, i will be fine, I didn’t really eat too much junks this month, it should be less painful” she said but a sudden pain gripped her immediately and he held her Tommy
“f-__-k!! I knew it’s not to be trusted” she muttered with pain in her voice
“Let’s go to your room, so you can lie down” He helped her up and she held him tightly, they walked up to her room not without her Mõ@ɲing in pain every second
“Gosh!! I h@ťě this” she muttered
“You are all pale already, should I call mum?” He asked worriedly
“Don’t wake them, I’m fine” she said with her hand gripping her Tommy tight
“It doesn’t look like it” he said and walked out of her room, he came back minutes later with their parents
“Are you okay honey?” Her mum sat beside her on the bed
“I’m fine, you guys can go back to sleep” she said
“You expect us to sleep when you are in this condition” she said
“Lets get her to the hospital” Jordan said
“We will dress up then” Their parents said and they went back to their room
★HOSPITAL★
“She will be better when she wakes up” the doctor said and they nodded
They looked at the sleeping, pale Alaina on the bed , Jordan sat beside her and held her hand rubbing it soothingly
“She will be fine” Their mum said and he nodded.
“You guys can go, I will stay here, you both need to rest” Jordan said
“Are you sure, what about school tomorrow?” Their mum asked
“I will be fine, I’m strong” he said and they laughed
“Okay, take care then” she kissed his forehead and kissed Alaina’s forehead also before leaving with her husband.
★ANGELO’S HOUSE★
He inputed the password and the door opened immediately
“You are back” Alex said
“I didn’t go” Angelo replied
“Huh….
“Why? What happened?” Adrian asked
“I had to save a damsel in distress” Angelo chuckled and they both looked at him weirdly.
