Is been three weeks now in Bro Kingsley’s parents house and I really feel at home now and been pampered like I’m their blood relation, infact they all treat me like I’m the last baby of the house
I have gotten used to calling bro Kingsley’s parents dad and mom including bro Kingsley whom I now calls big brother.
So my big brother has gone back to his house and normally visits thrice a week, he always brings me goodies while coming so I always look out for his visit. I always get to talk with the sisters via video calls when ever he is around also and they both really likes me
Dad and mum has promised to enroll me in a private school come next term because by then my wounds will be completely healed and my scars will disappear also but in the main time, they employed a home female teacher for me who always comes to teach me at home
Mum is also taking me through a therapy section because I always have scary night mares about my mother and chief, she also bought few books about rãpe and moléstãted victims and how they overcame their traumas, and truly the books are really helpful
She always teaches and educates me on my mental health, telling me the positive aspects of life, building my confidence and self esteem, she thought me also how to love and care for others.
There’s no day she doesn’t tell me to remember not to dwell in my miserãble experiences but always lookout for better days that’s ahead of me, she also thought me to always believe God and pray at all times
Even though my miserãble life experience is very hard for me to forget but I’m gradually learning to put negativity aside and looking towards the positive part of life all thanks to the massive love, care and support from this my amazing new found family
Dad has been busy carrying out some investigations on both my mother and chief as well, so he told me last night that I’m going to meet with my mother to find out for myself the truth about my existence.
Honestly speaking, I have been so scared since he said that, I didn’t eat well and sleep has eluded my eyes as well, I keep wondering what the outcome would be. At a time I hand everything over to God before finally drifting off to a peaceful sleep.
Very early the next morning, we all got dressed dad, mum, bro Kingsley also came around because he said he really wants to see that mønster of a woman that calls herself my mother. Two military vans were also available to accompany us to go see my mother
All through the drive, I was very tensed and my hands keep trembling, bro Kingsley noticed at some point and took my hands into his then whispered “Hakuna Matata” to me, that gradually works for me though
In as much as I know that what my mother deed to me was horrible but deep down within me I don’t want her to be punished by this soldiers that followed us
The vehicle stopped at the exact spot that the old man’s car was parked on that faithful day, the memory of that ugly incident in his car wants to flood my head but I quickly shook it off immediately without allowing it to sink in
I walked towards our house first while everyone waited in the car, I met my sister washing plate outside the house and she came running to me and gave me a tight hug
How are you Oluchi and why didn’t you go to school? I asked her
I’m fine, mummy don’t have money for school fees, she replied touching and admiring my cloth and shoes

At the backyard, here she is coming, my sister replied pointing at my mother who is coming out from the backyard
I wondered why she has become so old and haggãrd looking, she even have bandages on her hands and legs, what must have happened to her? I wondered

My mother halted and turn around, only for her to see my second mum and others, she quickly took to her heels and the soldiers chased after her.
I tried so hard not to drop a tear, she has very deep hãtred for me and I guess that was what blinded her eyes in the first place not to see them. Her quest to destroy my life is so strong and I wondered what I ever deed to her
In order to distract myself so as not to cry, I engaged my sister in a discussion
Oluchi, what happened to mama? I asked her
Some people came her and beat her up, they collected all her money and thr_@tened to kíll all of us. She narrated
