Jasmine opened her eyes and her eyes were a little bit blurry.
“Where am I .”She asked herself.
” Huh! You’re awake!!.”The driver from last night asked her.
“What i’m I doing here??.” She asked him.
“You lost consciousness last night! So I had to bring you here!.”he said.
” Thanks sir!But I have to go now.”She said standing up.
“But you’re not yet strong!!.” He said ..
“My Mom will be so worried about me!Thanks for bringing me here.” She said and went to her car before driving off.

She got down from her car as she saw some cops standing outside their mansion.
“What going on here??.” She asked herself.
She made to walked but some cops were already dragging her father outside.
“Dad?What wrong?Why did they handcuffed you??.” She asked rushly
“Don’t take my dad away!Why’re you doing this to him??.” She asked .
“Sorry ma’am but we will have to take him away.” One of the cops said.
“What did my father do to deserved this treatment? And dad where’s Mom.” She asked.
“My dear,I don’t have much time to explained to you! I’m sure your step brother will be here soon!And please do wh@ťěver he asked of you please.”
“Dad!Where is Mom! Please! Just tell me!.” But it was too late when the cops dragged her father into the cops vehicle.
“Dear!!Just know that I love you!And I will never ever try to hurt your Mom!.” Andrew said as the vehicle drove off.

Suddenly her phoned beeped and a video was sent to her,she opened the video and her eyes widened.

“Aunt Mira is dead,And Uncle Andrew is in jail.” Joyce said.

“Why should I be!!.” Joyce scoffed.
“I think we should pay Jasmine a visit and Aunt Mira last respect.” Xavier said.
“Are you insane! You broke her heart!How will she react when she sees us!She will be more heartbroken.” Joyce said.

“That the truth ma’ am.” The maid said.

“Firstly I lost my best friend! And then my boyfriend! And then my mother! My father is in jail.” She cried out and the maid hugged her immediately she was also crying.
“Why’s life so cruel to me?Huh?I clocked my twenty birthday just yesterday and now my Mom is no more.” She said crying.

And a maid grabbed her hand landing her a hot slapped and she flinched to the floor.

Inside a big hall,men coming from different places in the country were all gathered in there,a big stage was standing at the middle of the hall.
“Good day ladies and gentlemen!let the auction begin!.” The emcee who was a clad in a neat suit said with a bright smile on his face.
The men clapped in returned.
“So to begin with the auction we have This expensive golden chair cost almost $10000” He said pointing to the golden chair.
“10 million dollars.”One men raised is hand.
” 15 Million Dollars. “Another said from behind.
” 25 million dollars.!! ”
“35 million dollars!!.”
It went on and on till the price reached 50.
“50 million dollars.”

“Sold!!! Okay the golden chair goes to the man there!please go to the backstage to collect your goods.” The emcee said.
Another one brought in.this time a louder screams occupied the hall

“100 million dollars.” A man said.
“150 million dollars.” Another one jumped in.
“200 million dollars.” A man said.
“500.” Million dollars another one said.
It went on and on till it reach 800.
“800 Million dollars, going once.
Going twice.”..
1 Billion dollars.” A man said and the emcee widened is eyes.
He walked majestically like a slow mo and every step that he took makes everyone gasped in awe.
1 billion dollars. “Nathaniel repeated and remove his sunglasses.

“Won’t you leave like you used to do in the past??.” She asked the figure.
“So you recognized me immediately!!.” The figure said and smirked.
“I will always recognized you! Even if I see you till 10 years .” She said.
