He walked back to the car feeling angry.
“So did you find her? “the investigator asked.
” No I didn’t but instead I met an annoying girl,she also told me that she knows who my damsel is but won’t tell me ”
“So what will you do ?”
“I will have to get the truth from her in a way and if she still doesn’t want to tell me,I won’t leave her alone until she does ” he said looking angry.
?Sarah POV?
“Are you going to keep this a secret? ” Brad asked.
“It has always been a secret,what’s the use in saying it now”
“But won’t you tell him?”
“Nothing, he doesn’t deserve to know that am the girl he has been searching for” Sarah said.
“But you will be punishing him”
“Am not, I just won’t tell him, he felt relieved when I told him that I wasn’t his damsel what if he finds out that am actually her, he would despise me more. So its best I don’t tell him and you must also keep this a secret” Sarah said and he nodded unknown to them Sandra and Linda had heard their conversation.
THE NEXT DAY???
Sarah woke up feeling restless, she didn’t know why but she had a weird feeling, could it be because of what William said to her yesterday, would he really do all of those things…
She took her bathe and got prepared to go to school. Sandra and Linda had left again, she got outside and saw a car parked right in front of her house, she saw some of her neighbour starring at it.
“Who could it be? ” they kept on whispering.
Could it be Brad? but she had asked him not to come pick her.
Just then the door open and William walked out starring at her, what was he doing here? she kept on starring at him until he got to her.
“What are you doing here?” she asked.
“To take you to school,let’s go” he said.
“Am not going anywhere”
“Don’t make a scene and let’s go”
“Just yesterday you had said you wanted nothing to do with me and n….”
“I also told you yesterday that I will be watching you right? well that has started,so get into the car before I make a scene by carrying you”
“You wouldn’t dare”
“If your friends with my damsel, she would have told you that I do mean what I say, if you don’t want your neighbors to talk get in” he said and she went into his car she didn’t want to cause a scene and she didn’t want to be carried by him either.
He got into the car and drove off. He is hell bent on knowing who is damsel is, she also won’t tell him the truth….
