<THE SCHOOL’S CAFETERIA>
Charlotte munched on some munchies as she
stomped her feet on the ground with an
unsettled look,
They were supposed to have lunch together so
what was taking Olivia long??
Charlotte thought and scoffed.
Adrian, Adam and Aden were seated somewhere
not too far away from Charlotte’s seat,
Adam and Aden ate from their plate of black
bean noodles while Adrian picked on his food,
“Bro you ain’t eating, any problem? ” Aden
asked, coolly.
“Can’t you tell, he’s bothered about the fact that
Olivia and Alex are sitting down together, all
alone in the music room talking about love… “
Adam teased.
Aden and Adam busted into a loud laughter,
Adrian banged his hand on the table, hard
earning some attentions from some students
nearby.
“I think I just lost my appetite ” Adrian muttered,
coldly and stood up, he strolled to where
Charlotte was,
Charlotte glared at him with a frown,
“Where is Olivia, is she back? ” Adrian asked,
coldly.
“Why do you care? ” Charlotte asked back with
an eye roll.
Adrian left angrily in search of Olivia.
Adam and Aden quickly stood up and followed
him.
Adrian got to the music room, he pushed the
door open and barged in but his body stiffened
at what he saw.

Olivia took a peek at Alex’s face and smiled,
shyly.
he was too cute to be true!
Though her neck, back, waist and shoulder in
short, she was feeling pains all over her body
but she didn’t care. Her body was also sweaty
as sweats drip down her forehead to her neck.
Suddenly, the door flew open, Adrian, Adam and
Aden barged in.
Olivia stared at them, surprised.
What were they doing here??
Adrian who saw Alex’s head on Olivia’s shoulder
and Alex’s eyes were tightly shut which means
that he was fast asleep.
Adrian felt anger and jealousy rose up inside of
him,
Fast asleep?? It is usually hard for Alex to fall
asleep, but if Alex wants to fall asleep why
didn’t he
sleep on the couch? why would he lay his head
on Olivia’s shoulder, is she a pillow or a bed??
Adrian clenched his fist in anger, he couldn’t
hold himself back any longer, he couldn’t take it
anymore.
“Olivia what are you–
Olivia quickly beckoned on him to keep quiet
and Adrian kept his mouth shut.
She pointed at Alex and made a sign with her
hand trying to tell them that Alex was fast
asleep.
“Something is definitely wrong somewhere, the
great and almighty Alex Donovan finally slept
like a baby??” Adam whispered to Aden.
Aden shook his head, unbelievably
“Do you think she gave him a sleeping pill or
portion? ” Aden whispered back.
Adrian just gritted his teeth in anger,
“Can’t you wake him up? aren’t you feeling
pains all over? ” Adrian asked, coldly.
Olivia only nodded sideways but it was a total
lie, the pain was too much and it felt like she
needed a good stretch and massage.
“Olivia…when you’re done meet me in the
basketball field, we need to talk! ” Adrian stated
firmly and left.
Adam shook his head and left, Aden gave Olivia
a faint smirk before scurrying off.
Olivia released a sigh of relief.
Why was Adrian angry? did she do anything
wrong?
Soon it was school dismissal, Olivia peeked at
Alex’s face and saw that he was still fast
asleep,
She smiled and continued playing with her
fingers,
The door jerked open and Adrian took long
strides towards them, he grabbed Alex by his
collar making him to wake up from his sleep,
“Has Olivia turned to a bed? how could you
punish her this way?! can’t you see that she’s
uncomfortable?! ” Adrian yelled, angrily.
Olivia’s eyes widened,
she stared at Adrian, confused.
“Adrian.. am fine–
“No don’t! can’t you see the way you’re
sweating?? you yourself you know that you’re
already tired! ” Adrian stated, angrily.
Alex gazed at Adrian, lazily and removed his
grip from his shirt, he stood up and yawned,
softly.
Olivia stood up, slowly too as she gazed at Alex,
“So noisy” Alex mumbled, calmly and strolled to
the couch, he took his headset and turned to
leave,
“Seriously?? am talking to you Alex! so Olivia
has turned into a bed in your eyes?! ” Adrian
asked through gritted teeth.
Alex scoffed and faced Adrian with a cold glare,
“So what? she wasn’t complaining so why are
you bothered about it, besides…what right do
you have to question
me?? stay clear off my path…Adrian ” Alex
stated, calmly but his tone was low, dangerous
and held a warning.
Alex glanced at Olivia before walking out of the
music room.
Olivia let out a sigh of relief, she thought a fight
would happen, so she was very scared.
“Why were you with him? did he do anything to
you? ” Adrian asked, calmly.
Olivia smirked and folded her arms under her
B-__-bs,
“And what if he did? I was here with him
because he told me to sing for him, I didn’t even
know when he fell asleep ” Olivia uttered with a
sweet giggle.
“Why are you mad about it? can’t you tell that I
love it? Alex isn’t harsh on me again, he has
changed! Oh gosh my love for him keeps
growing till it will reach the sky… ” Olivia
muttered, excitedly.
Adrian scoffed, he took Olivia’s grip into his,
“Olivia wake up, Alex isn’t who you think he is,
he’s just trying to fool you. you have to believe
me” Adrian uttered, spitefully.
Olivia frowned, she removed her grip from his,
“That’s a lie, that is what you think about him
but for me it’s different…” Olivia mumbled,
lowly.
“Why is it different? why–
“It’s because I love Alex…” Olivia dropped the
bombshell and Adrian went mute.
There was no other sound inside the music
room apart from Adrian’s rough breathing,
He clenched his fist tight that his veins in his
head almost popped out,
“But…he has a fiance…?” Adrian stated, lowly.
Olivia laughed, heartily but failed to see the
different emotions on Adrian’s face,
“I don’t care because if Alex falls in love with me
back am sure he will break the engagement “
Olivia uttered, calmly.
“Erm! I’ll see you later Adrian, let me go check on
Charlotte, seems like she’s still waiting for me,
bye! ” Olivia uttered, softly and left the music
room.
Adrian lost his balance and fell on the floor as
tears rolled down his cheek, he ruffled his hair,
confused
“No… it can’t be!….could it be that….?” Adrian
muttered and let out a bitter chuckle.
“No… I can’t fall in love with Olivia Smith, haha!
she’s way outta my league, but Alex…hope he
isn’t into her or he wants to play with
her heart….yes! that’s the truth, that means we’re
on the same page! well, let’s see who will get
inbetween her legs first!…. ” Adrian stated to
himself and laughed like a maniac.
