I almost lost hope but thanks to Cole
Yeah it me Suzy and Cole is my boyfriend
I decided to give him a trial after receiving the warning besides I might be desperate but fighting for a guy who now has a fiance is so embarrassing
I got to realise the love I have for him(Cole), I was just blinded with obsession but thank God I backed out early
I really need to apologise for everything I’ve done to her during her stay in Elite Peak
I know I’ve always acted like a Ɓîtçh towards her but I’m now feeling guilty for it and that’s why I can’t just let her die like because despite the fact I do bully her but she never took it to heart
I sat down beside Cole as she stared at us like we’ve grown two horns
Cole help her sit up while she kept groaning in pain
She rested her back on the pillow closing her eyes
She opened her eyes and scanned the room before diverting her gaze to us
“Where I’m I?”. She asked groaning like she finds it difficult to talk
“A far away place”. Cole replied and she looked at him for a while
“Cole?”. She asked and he nod before moving closer
“Suzy?” She asked and I smiled while she touched the bandage on her her arm
She was shot 2 times in her belly and her left hand was shot twice as well but it seems she a strong lady
She is indeed a fighter
“Where is Trace?”. She asked and I gave her a confused look
“Trace?”. I asked again for confirmation and she nod
“Trace is in the city, while we are in a far away land”. Cole replied and she sighed closing her eyes
“Do you have any idea who did this to you?”. I asked and she opened her eyes and looked at me
“Yes but I won’t say who the person is till I see Trace”. She replied holding her tummy
“Are you hungry?”. I asked worriedly and she shook her head
“I won’t eat till I see Trace”. She replied and I sighed
“For how long have I been here?”. She asked and closed her eyes again
“Two years”. Cole replied and she gasped shockingly
“Two what?”. She asked trying to get how of bed
“You can’t possibly stand right now. You are still weak”. Cole said trying make her lay back in bed
“I can’t stay here for a day longer. I need to see him”. She yelled but she regretted as she groaned holding her head with her right hand trying to move her left hand
She laid back for a while before standing up
“Take me to Trace or I’ll find my way back myself”. She said standing bro her feet
“We promise to take you but you need to rest. At least eat and we’ll find a way to take you there”. Cole said scattering his head
“When will you both take me there?”. She asked with teary eyes
“Next week”. I replied and she hissed
“Then you both are not ready”. She said walking slowly to the door while holding her tummy
“Fine, you’ll go tomorrow but you need to……”
“Enough of the lectures or I break your head”. She thr_@tened and Cole chuckled
“I mean to say, change your look”. He replied and she stared at him for a while before walking back to the bed
“Are you sure you are strong enough to go?”. I asked and she smiled weakly
“Of course I am when it comes to Trace”. She replied and touched her tummy
“So will you eat now?”. I asked and she nod
Cole stood up and went out of the room
“Why are you suddenly nice to me?”. She asked giving me weird look
“I know I’ve always acted like a Ɓîtçh towards you but please this is the only way I can say sorry”. I replied holding her right hand
“Sorry? Did you got hit by a train or what? A whole Suzy saying sorry. It’s unbelievable”. She replied shaking her head
“I never got hit by a train, I just decide to help as a token to show how sorry I am. I never knew the guy I’ve been fighting for has a fiance but thank goodness I got notified earlier”. I said looking down
“It’s okay and I’ve forgiven you a long time ago but I’m glad you backed out early and thank you for saving me. I really thought there was no hope for me immediately I felt the bullet hit me but I guess fate isn’t that cruel. You are a lifesaver”. She said smiling
“Thank you for forgiving me but I couldn’t have done it all without Cole. He did most of the job”. I replied also smiling genuinely
“How did you do it?”. She asked curiously
“I was on your way to your house hoping to meet you at and luckily I saw you coming out of the house. I ran but stopped immediately when a black car pulled roughly I’m front of your house and about 4 built dangerous guy with weapons entered.”
“I wanted to inform the cops but I didn’t go with my phone. I watched helplessly as you were bundled out of your house roughly. They threw you into the car and zoomed of while I quickly boarded a taxi carefully trailing behind the car. I borrowed the cab man’s phone and informed Cole”
“After driving speedily for 1 hour, they came down and dragged you into an uncompleted building. The cab man stayed at a distance and Cole joined us in no time. We heard gunshots and Cole almost rushed out but I held him back because our life is also at stalk”
“They came after few minutes and we had to stay low so they won’t notice us. After they left, we ran into the building and met you still gasping for breath. Cole carried you and you were rushed down to the hospital. You got saved from danger but you slipped into coma and we had no choice than to bring you here”
“I’m order not to create suspicion, with the help of the doctor and Mrs Amy because we informed her as well, we were given an abandoned female body from the morgue. Her face was changed to yours with the help of surgery. We had to $h00t the body since it lifeless already and dump her outside the building before heading here”. I explained and her mouth was left hanging in great shock
“So…. You did all….all that for me?”. She asked and it’s obvious she is still in shock
“Yes and I’m ready to do more”. I replied smiling and Cole entered with a big tray
He placed it on a stool and moved it closer to her
“Thank you”. She said and Cole smiled
“For what exactly?”. He asked pretending not know what she is talking about
“Everything you did for me. I’ll forever be greatful”. She said almost at the verge of crying
“You really don’t need to cry. I’m glad you’re awake and our efforts didn’t go to waste”. Cole said patting her hair
“People like you both are rear to find. Thank you once again”. She said releasing a cute smile
“Now eat up or no Trace tomorrow”. I said and she quickly uncovered the food before digging in
