I woke up with a pounding head ache, I groaned and sat up. I ran my fingers into my hair and walked to the bathroom. I stayed under the shower for a while before coming out. I tied a towel around my waist and came out of the bathroom dripping wet. I walked to my closet and brought out a white shirt sleeved round neck shirt and a blue shirt which I wore sluggishly and I just brushed my hair with m hands and walked out. I met my parents in the living room having a serious discussion. I walked pass them and they turn to look at me.
“Are we too small to see and greet?”. mum asked
“You were so engrossed with your discussion and I don’t wanna interrupt”. I replied and walked and I could feel my dad glaring at me

I walked into the hotel where I work and was welcomed with a slap by a Ɓîtçhy senior worker who made life a living fo me. I held my cheek in pain and tried walked away but was interrupted with another slap which made me tell in anger
“What’s your problem Suzy? What do you want from me?”. I yelled
” Have you gone nuts? Do you know the position I am in this hotel? How dare you talk to me in that manner? “. She yelled and pulled my hair forcefully and within a twinkle of an eye, I landed a resounding slap on her right cheek.
“Don’t you ever touch my hair, you can touch any part of my body but not my hair. The next time you try it, I’m gonna cut off your hands”. I yelled angrily and walked away
” I can’t fall for your f-__-king thr_@t and I promise to deal with you for slapping me”. She yelled like a maniac which I heard but paid no attention to
******Fast forward******
Mrs Amy assembled every worker to the pool side for a brief meeting.
” So tonight, the son of the owner of this hotel will be coming here to inspect and check record of what we have been doing, he is coming with his friends”. Suzy adjusted her dress which made me scoff
” Are we not doing our duties well or what? “. I asked with an eye roll
” Learn how to control your tongue and speak politely especially when you are with them”. She scolded which made me roll my eyes again
” So Suzy, you will be the one in charge, if they need anything”. She said and done the count smiled arrogantly
Fool!
“Goldin, you will be the one to serve them anything they want, I’ll be the one to give him the records and others you can go back but Claire, you can assist Goldin”. She said and they all left excluding me
