Chapter 6
Violet POV
I was panting when I got to the rooftop door and I twisted the handle going in hoping to see Clover in there.
I looked around but I didn’t see him and my face dropped. How could I miss a chance like this.
I needed to say thanks for making those three friends apologize to someone like me.
“Looking for me” I heard a whisper in my ear and I shivered. Those voice. It belonged to him.
How did he manage to sneak on me like that.
“How did you get there?” I muttered and he turned me swiftly to face him.
“So do you like my surprise” He asked and I smiled inwardly.
“I guess” I acted nonchalant cause I didn’t want to accept defeat in front of him. I couldn’t let him see that he had won.
“Hmmm” He nodded.
He brought his hands to my neck and I shivered. It was so cold like he placed them in ice and I closed my eyes humming.
He brought his hands to my throat before wrapping his around it and I pouted my lips anticipating for a kiss.
But it was the other way round. He brought his lips to my ear and he gave it a long lick before whispering,
“I told you I would make you eat your words” He said and then he brought his hands down tucking it into his pocket.
Huh!!! Just like that. I was already getting wet and I thought he would do something to me but he just ended it just like that.
Why does he do that? Doing wh@ťěver he likes not caring if it favoured me or not.
“You’re too impatient butterfly” He said and brought out a stick of cigarette to start smoking.
I couldn’t tolerate the smell of the cigarette so I left the rooftop. I hope one day I would be able to make him stop that.
I wanna change so many things about him and make him love me and seeing how we’re getting so close I guess I am having a lead on.
Authoress’POV
AFTER SCHOOL***
“How could he make us do that and you allowed it Linda. Do you know what the whole school sees us now. Like we’re the next losers instead of that dumb nerd” Candy yelled.
The three of them were in the broadcasting room and they were afraid of going out cause they didn’t know how to face the other students.
“He has my s*x tape with him and if that leaks out. That’ll be the end of me. My parents might get to find out so this is just a minor issue” Belinda said picking on her nails.
“Not like I care…. But you made us three do it. You could have just done that on your own” Jewel also said and Belinda groaned.
“Can you both just shut up. We already apologized and not like I forced you both with a knife in your throats. You both also have something under your sleeves that’s why you agreed” Belinda accused and they both stopped complaining.
She raised her brow seeing how suspicious they both were afterwards.
“Did you guys do something that I am not aware of?” Belinda asked but they shook their heads.
“Of course not we just figured out that there’s no use in arguing over spilled milk” Candy said and Belinda eyed them.
“I’ll just believe you all”
“But is Clover having a thing for that dumb girl. She’s looks so oblivious and innocent” Candy made a disgusting face.
“Why don’t we spoil her. Make her look bad in front of everyone and then we use someone to make it real” Jewel suggested and it piqued the others interest.
“Adrian is having a birthday party this weekend and he has a crush on me. I can convince him to help us. What do you think?” Jewel asked.
“As far as Clover doesn’t get to find out that we plot this and we make that butch pay then I’m fine with it” Belinda concurred.
“Let’s make her pay” Candy smirked.
CLOVER CONDO*
This is just where he stays anytime he decides not to go home to avoid getting reprimanded by his dad or to avoid his step mum tantrums.
“Aren’t you going home to your butterfly” Adrian sat down beside him chuckling and Clover rolled his eyes.
“You don’t have to tease me about that” He replied.
“I’ve never seen you do something for a girl before and suddenly you did it today. You’ve known for years that she likes you for years now but you paid no attention to that” Adrian said.
“I just had a change of heart and her stares are never stopping until I give her the attention that she wants” Clover replied.
“Wait… Are you falling for her” Adrian gasped and Clover glared at me.
“She’s too naive for my liking and I just thought of having a little fun with her” A smirk crept up on his lips.
“That smirk… You’re planning something dangerous” Adrian eyed him .
Clover scoffed, “She was the one who started it all and I just wanna have a tiny bitty fun with her”
“So you won’t fall. ”
“Never… I don’t do love and not for someone dumb as her”
“I guess you’ll never change” Adrian shook his head.
“I ordering some pizza are you eating?” Adrian asked.
“Sure make it two”
Violet POV
I checked my wall clock and it was already 12pm. Is this his way of punishing me or what?
I haven’t heard any sound from his window which meant that he wasn’t back yet and I had been anticipating all day.
I couldn’t wait any longer and I switched off the lights in my room before covering myself with the duvet.
He crushed all my hope making me wait for him till midnight. Is this how I became all because of a guy.
