Chapter 31
Clover’s POV
EARLIER, STILL AT SCHOOL*
I was already frustrated enough and was about to leave the rooftop when someone came in. She looked like one of Violet friends maybe.
“Oh glad I met you here” She said in relief. Is she referring to me or someone else. I don’t think we have any business together.
I tried to bypass her but she obstructed my path and I raised a brow at her. What the f-__-k does she wants?
“Hey I know you don’t know me but can you please here me out. I have something to say to you” She said and I scoffed.
“Are you doing this behind your friends back or does she knows you came here. You see I’m not interested in you okay” I said and then she chuckled.
The last thing I like was friends backstabbing each other. Does she like me and then thinking we could have a relationship.
Well I am not interested…..
“Oh Mr. You think everyone falls for your handsome face. I’m not part of them and also Violet doesn’t know that I’m here” She said and I was perplexed.
“See I know you guys are fighting and I kind of like it because I don’t what my friend sees in you. You’re just gonna break her heart. That’s what jerks like you do” She said bossily.
“What makes you think that?” I raised a brow.
“You look like someone who doesn’t do love. You’re just trying to play with her heart. Make her think that you like her when you don’t” She said glaring at me.
“Then how’s that your business. I don’t think you’re Violet” I said.
I h@ťě poke nosers. She doesn’t know anything about this and she’s interfering.
Then he used her index finger to poke my chest, “Stay away from Violet if you know you’re just playing with her heart cause I h@ťě playboys like you” She said and glared again at me.
Then she hissed and left. I clicked my tongue and touched my chest. Her poking my chest kinda hurt a little.
What does she mean by staying away from Violet? Then she came back in again. Did she forget to add something.
“Lest I forget. You didn’t ask her why she was down today. You’re not the only one going through a lot. Her mother is about to get married to another man and she’s not happy about that” She said and left again.
Her Mom is about to get married. Huh! I knew how bad that was and how depressed I was when Dad brought another woman home and said he wanted to marry her.
It affected me so badly and it was part of the reason why I am this way. $h|t, I guess I misjudged her.

Violet POV
I was so shocked when he hugged me and also dumbfounded. I stood still and I couldn’t move from my spot.
I thought he was angry at me. I thought we were never going to speak to each other again.
” I never knew you were going through all these” He said and I furrowed my brows.
“I’ll support you Violet. I don’t think your Mom has the right to marry another man without your consent” He said and I turned around to face him.
“How did you know about that?” I asked.
“Just that your friend did a little job. She made realize how much of a jerk I am ” He said and I laughed.
“Is it Penelope or Ryan. They are the only two friends I have and I doubt Ryan would say that to you” I said pouting my lips.
“It’s not him. I don’t really like that guy around you. He’s behaving clingy like he’s your boyfriend” He said and I laughed again.
Why’s he behaving jealous over every guy that’s always around me. Is he acting possessive cause I kinda like it.
“Yunno you’re not also my boyfriend so you shouldn’t be saying so” I said and took my lips in.
“Doing that is making me turned on right now” Clover whispered into my ear and I hit my arm.
“Must you always talk naughty all the time”I said and then smirked when I thought of something.
“So what if you’re getting turned on. Not like I caused it” I said and rolled my eyes.
“Are you acting naive like you don’t know what I’m talking about. Every of your actions turns me on” He said and I’m almost convinced that what he said now was sincere.
“Kiss me Clover. I missed your lips on mine” After I said that, he immediately slammed his lips on mine.
Our lips moved on each other hungrily. It was like I was starved for ages cause I met up with his fast pace and circled my hands around his neck.
His lips tasted like honey and intoxicating that I never wanted to taste anything other than that. I closed my eyes drowned in the Passion.
I just wanted us to be like this. Never separate from each other. I wanted us to be so close . Feel each other breathe and cologne.
I don’t think that was happening tonight. I heard a knock on my door and we both separated from each other. I pushed Clover away from and he fell to the floor.
I gasped and wanted to help him up but Mum knocked again and this time she also called my name.
“Go through the window. She might come in” I muttered and he nodded before jumping down through the window.
At that same time, Mum came into the room and then she looked around and I scratched my head nervously.
“Was there anyone in here. I thought I heard voices” She asked still looking around suspiciously.
“There was no one Mum. I was on a call with Ryan maybe that’s why” I replied and she raised a brow before finally nodding.
Phew!
“Okay if you say so. Why are you still in your school uniform, your food is getting cold hurry up” She said and I nodded.
“Yes Mum” I replied and she left the room. That was a close call. I never knew my heart was beating so fast until she left.
I turned to my window and I saw Clover, he was already in his room. He winked at me and I blushed.
He’s the only one making me do bad things without my mother’s knowledge. She’s really ki|| me if she finds out.
Though I’m never telling her.
