“I don’t know you and you’re not my wife” Neil replied with a hard expression on his face.
“Are you really serious right now, we both went to our honeymoon together and now It has come to this. You chose to be with her over me” Madison yelled referring to Georgia who was by his side.
“I don’t know you” Neil replied turning his head sideways.
“Okay it’s back to that. I don’t even know why I am feeling like this right we aren’t even supposed to care about each other. Wasn’t that what was supposed to happen” Madison asked.
“Maddie it’s….”
“I’m no longer interested anymore. I don’t even think it’s right for me to carry the child of someone who doesn’t even know me” Madison cut Anastasia off.
“Don’t tell me it’s what I’m thinking”
“Yes I’m aborting the baby.” Madison said firmly and walked out of the parlour.
After she left, Anastasia turned to Georgia who was looking around the house.
“And you what are you doing here, what did you do to my brother. ” Anastasia asked and she chuckled.
“Do? I didn’t do anything to him. He just came back to his right senses and knew that I was supposed to be his wife not that Ɓîtçh” She rolled her eyes but the next thing she heard was a loud slap on her cheeks.
Anastasia slapped her so hard that her eyes widened and some part of her hair disheveled.
“How dare you, you slapped me” She said and Anastasia nodded.
“I slapped you cause you are so foolish to think that Neil would ever be with you. Just wait till I get to find out what you did to him. This is not my brother” Anastasia said and Georgia tried going after her but stopped abruptly.
“You would regret it. I assure you. I will show you hell” Georgia said and Anastasia hissed before walking away.
“Let’s go to our room babe” Georgia said pulling him forward but he didn’t bulge.
“Are you sure that you are my wife. Why does no one like you. I mean the other one was claiming that she is also my wife and it’s making me confused. The look in her eyes looked so convincing” Neil said.
“Oh! You don’t have to mind any of them. They’re all lying. They h@ťě me because of you love me so much.” She said as she held Neil cheeks in her palms and he had no other choice to just nod to her words.
Lora was coming down from the stairs and the moment she saw Neil, her eyes widened and she went to him hugging him so tightly.
“Oh my! How did you survive the accident or you didn’t take the flight. I was so scared that I would lose you. Have you seen Madison” She asked and Neil raised his brow.
“Madison? Who’s Madison” He said and Lora became confused.
Then he turned to Georgia and asked, “who’s she?”
“She’s your Mum and she also wasn’t in support of our marriage. She wanted you to divorce me but you refused” Georgia asked and Lora eyes widened.
“What did you tell him and how come he doesn’t know me. Were you the one who saved him from the accident?” Lora asked Georgia.
“You see Lora. Neil is now mine and no one else can take him away from me” Georgia said.
“What did you do to him. He doesn’t remember anyone not even me his mother” Lora asked staring intently at her.
“I didn’t do anything. Neil belongs to me and now that I have achieved it. You all have to stay away. Can you please show us to our room”
“On a second thought I will find that out myself” She said while Neil followed her behind.
SMITH MANSION*
Donovan just arrived at the mansion when he learnt that Pearl was sick. He came down his car and then he ran straight to her room. That’s where she might be.
He got to her room and didn’t bother knocking, he twisted the knob entering the room and then he saw her curled up in the bed.
“Pearl are you okay. The maid called me that you have been refusing to eat.” Donovan said and checked her temperature but it was warm.
“How long?” Her tiny voice came and his worried gaze relaxed as he stared at her.
“Huh”
“How long has your feelings been going on? I want to know” She asked but Donovan looked away.
“Let’s forget about that. You need to go to the hospital so they can check your Vitals and see if you’re okay” Donovan said trying to get her off the bed but she just sat up and held his hand.
“Why you were always protective of me when we were in highschool and you didn’t allow any guy to be my friend. You were against me having a boyfriend. Was it because you were in love with me” Pearl asked again but he kept quiet.
“Pearl let’s forget that” He tried to avoid the question but she shook her head.
“I want you to tell me the truth or else I won’t eat or allow you to take me to the hospital” She said and he sighed.
“Fine, I always h@ťěd the fact that it had to be you. That I had to be in love with my twin sister. I’ve tried so many times to ignore the feelings or hide it but anytime I see you it would always come again. I didn’t know how it would look like when I would be dating my twin sister. It was so absurd that I decided never to say anything about it” Donovan said.
Pearl held his face in her palms and then she kissed his cheeks. His eyes widened.
“What are you doing?” He asked.
“I’m trying to tell you that you don’t have to continue hiding it. We can have a secret relationship without anyone being aware” Pearl said.
“Every secret is meant to come out Pearl. So please let me continue hiding the feeling just like I have been doing” Donovan said and brought down her hand.
“And Don’t refuse to eat because of me. That would make me worry more about you.” He said and stood up.
“Then what am I supposed to do. Hide my feelings also” She said and Donovan turned back.
She saw the look in his eyes and she nodded but then he spoke up, “It won’t work. I mean between us and I don’t want to hurt. You regretting it at the end. I’m sorry Pearl” Donovan bent his head and then he walked to the door and stared at her one more time before leaving the room.
He rested his back on the door after he had closed the door and then he closed his eyes.
“I did the right thing” He opened the door and then went downstairs and saw the maid carrying a tray of food. It was meant for Pearl.
“Please make sure she eats her food. If anything happens please call me” He said and left and the maid nodded.
“Yes young master” She replied.

Madison was already done packing her belongings tho Anastasia and Lora tried to talk her out of it but she refused.
She couldn’t bear seeing Neil with Georgia so it’s best she lives and then she can file a divorce later.
As she carried her luggage down the stairs she saw Marie at the base and the woman was smirking.
“Told you I would make sure you leave this house” Marie said but Madison ignored her.
When she reached the parlour she saw Chairman Armstrong sitting comfortable in an armchair and then he looked up when he saw Madison with her luggage.
“Where are you going?” He asked and Madison rolled her eyes.
“As you can see I am leaving from this god forsaken d@mn house” She replied.
“Language young lady. Neil is back so you are supposed to be joyed about that” He said but Madison shook her head.
“He’s back but he doesn’t remember me. So how am I going to cope with that. He’s better off without me so I can’t be sulking over him” Madison said.
“But you have my grandchild in your stomach so I don’t want anything to happen to it” Chairman said and then Georgia came in also accompanied with Marie.
“Georgia I never knew you were back in Texas. Marie when did your daughter come back” He said and Madison eyes widened.
“Georgia, Marie’s daughter” She muttered.
