It was the only one there and when she brought her hand to touch it, it fell to the floor and she gasped.
“What was that?”
She turned reflectively to Reed who was staring at her with the coffee in his hand and Amelia moved backwards.
“I…. I.. it was a mistake” Amelia stuttered. The picture contained the young version of him and there was a woman beside him. She was smiling as she kissed his cheeks. That was how the picture was taken.
Reed dropped the cup of coffee and he walked fast to where Amelia was. She was thinking he was gonna do something bad to her maybe the the picture was something precious to him.
But she was shocked when he just hugged her, “Thank you for doing that”. He held her hand and took her to where the coffee was.
“Here have this before it gets cold”Amelia was staring perplexed at him as she took the cup of coffee from his hand .
“You might be feeling cold, let’s get you something to change into”. He was smiling throughout and it got Amelia more confused.
Amelia held his hand just as he was about to move and his questioning gaze was on her.
“Why aren’t you saying anything about the picture. Doesn’t it means anything to you” She asked and he chuckled.
“It does but I just chose to ignore it. Will take care of it later He said and Amelia felt a bit relieved.
“So who was she. I mean the woman in the frame” Amelia asked.
“She was my mom” He replied casually and she gasped.
“Your Mom. And you’re acting so casual about it.” Amelia gasped.
“And it’s supposed to be my business so I said you should forget about it so do so” Reed said and he took her to his room.
He went to his wardrobe and brought out some a red hoodie and some joggers for her to put on.
Amelia took the clothes from him expecting him to leave the room but he kept standing there.
“Aren’t you a gentleman. You’re supposed to give me some privacy to dress up” Amelia said and he scoffed.
“What privacy do you need. You aren’t wearing a bra and I can see everything through that thin singlet or is it the bumshot . Oh please!” Reed said rawly
“Well thanks for making me embarrassed. Leave” Amelia pushed him out of the room he grumbled leaving the room.
OAK HOTEL*
“For what you did earlier” Madison smiled and Neil chuckled.
“Should I run” He joked and Madison raised a brow.
“Because you’re acting so different. So I just want to know if I should be feeling insecure” He said and Madison rolled her eyes.
“Just think of it as a change of character and enjoy it for now” Madison replied and he chuckled.
“Okay milady” He said and Madison laughed out.
“Are you going back” He asked and she shook her head.
“I’m exhausted so I am off to sleep” Madison said and Neil smiled before leaving her in the room all alone to herself. ¡
“What was that?” She mumbled.
THE NEXT MORNING*
The sweet aroma made Madison to wake up from the bed and she flinched when she saw Alison at the corner of the room arranging some dishes on the long table and she flinched standing up.
“What are you doing here?” She asked surprised and Alison smiled turned to her.
“Oh you’re awake”
“That’s not the answer to my question” Madison said again.
“Well it was your husband who told me your room number so that is why I am here” Alison said
“So”
” Fine I don’t want you to get angry at this outburst but he went back to Texas” Alison said calmly.
“What?” Madison gasped standing up from the bed.
“How did you know? And he didn’t care to inform me” Madison raged while Alison tried to calm her down.
“It isn’t what you think. He knew you would want to follow him back when you know that” Alison said.
“Well that’s what I am gonna you. I’m booking the next flight to Texas and you’re not going to stop me” Madison said and went to the bed stand taking her phone.
She tried calling Neil’s number numerous times but it wasn’t going through.
“At least first eat your breakfast before anything. Maybe this is the reason why he didn’t want you to know about this” Alison said and Madison finally calmed down, her butt landing on the bed.
Alison brought her breakfast for her to eat and Madison reluctantly ate the food. Alison turned on the TV and a breaking news came up and it caught their attention.
📺 BREAKING NEWS: THERE WAS A PLANE CRASH THIS MORNING ON PLANE 102. ALL THOSE WHO BOOKED THE FLIGHT TO TEXAS THIS MORNING WERE VICTIMS OF THIS CRASH AND IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED THAT THERE HAD BEEN NO SURVIVOR FOR NOW.
Madison became dumbstruck after what she just heard from the Television and her eyes rolled to the back as everything went blank and she lost consciousness.
“Madison…. “That was the last thing she heard.
A HOSPITAL*
Alison was able to take Madison to the hospital with the help of some other people in the hotel.
Madison opened her eyes slowly and she looked up at the white ceiling. She looked at that place for some minutes before turning to her side to see a doctor smiling at her.
She found it weird but then the doctor spoke up.
“Congratulations Miss I think you’re a week pregnant”

Georgia smiled where she was sitting in a couch and then she smiled after hearing what she just wanted to know.
