“he is the chosen one” the voice said
“are you okay?” Agatha asked as she realized rehana was deep in thoughts

it was time for lunch as she got ready, she was putting in her books when her eyes caught jake’s phone,
she do picked it up and had thought of fixing it, she wondered why she was doing this but then she had no explanations as she zipped it off and went of for lunch,

Along the hallway she slightly bumped into someone as their eyes stared at each other, they were silent for a while as he made to leave afterwards
“j… joron!” she called as he came to a halt she then moved in front of him
“are you mad at me?” she asked
“mad at you?, of course not, i think you are the one being mad at me right now, so i decided not to do anything that will upset you the more” he said and made to move when rehana clutched his wrist, he slowly looked down to it and then met her gaze
“i.. i know i was being rational, what i said to you wasn’t right, i… i somehow accused you of what i think you didn’t do” rehana said
“you think?, really i see you are not still clear on this all, how can you be supporting jake of all people, well i can’t do anything now, you made the final decision and i am okay with it” he said and was about walking off
“how do you want me to apologize to you then” he heard her voice as he came to a halt, he smirked secretly, this was what he do be waiting for all a while, and now her was getting the opportunity
“i don’t want you to do anything” he said in an act of pretence putting up an upset expression
“i know you are upset with me, just tell me what it is that you want me to do, and i promise to do it right” she said
“really?” he asked still backing her
“yes, i am serious” she said as just when joron was about turning to her, he got the greatest surprise of his life
she found Rehana in jake’s arms as he seethed his brows, they were in a romantic cuddle, their face were locked at each other,
“rehana” he muttered and went forward as they disengaged
“t..thank you” she muttered to him
“w..what was that?, i mean what happened” joron asked in confusion
“here” she said and pointed to the ground, it was one of the hallway big bulbs that fell to the direction of rehana luckily jake was at her rescue otherwise something worst would have happened to her
“ohh, d@mn!, hope you are okay, are you hurt?” joron asked as he observed her, putting up an over caring attitude
“I’m okay” rehana said
“i think i should take you to the hospital” joron said
“no need for that” she said
“at least to the school’s clinic, don’t say no please” he said in a soft smile as rehana looked forward to Jake who just turned and left as joron smirked
“may we?” he asked as she nodded…

“d@mn, yet again she do escaped me, but lets see how lucky the bïtch’s gonna be” kiara smirked, she had planned it all out as she had unhooked the grip of the bulb from the holder, she just wished it had fallen on that rehana already, but out of the blues jake saved her,
like wtf?, why would jake even do that, she scoffed and walked out

“really joron, i don’t need to necessarily get to the clinic” rehana said as they came to a halt
“fine, so tell me about what you were about saying earlier?” he asked
“what?” she asked as though she couldn’t remember a thing as joron frowned
“you said something earlier on before the bulb head incident” he said trying to bring to her remembrance
“well i can’t really recount on it, but then it seems we are good now, c’mon let’s go eat” she said and begin moving as joron clenched his fist,
how could she have not remember the deal she was about making with him, why was he always unlucky when it comes to her,
but no matter what, he was gonna make rehana his, and not even jake would dare stand on his way
“yeah, I’m somehow starving”he said and followed behind

“you must seat with me okay?” joron said as rehana nodded, and then they got to a booth as joron sat,
“uhmm, i will make my order” she said as she went to make an order, only to turn back and see that Gabriella had sat on her seat already with joron,
“ohh sorry didn’t i take your space?” she said teasingly as joron glared to her
“get up now” he ordered
“no you don’t have to worry I’ll just find somewhere else to seat” rehana said as she used her eyes to scan the entire place, Jake had kiara sit beside him as rehana looked away it wasn’t her business who he sat with anyways
“c’mon rehana come have a seat” her friends suggested as she smiled and took her food to where they were,
“i do thought i would find no place to seat” she said
“what are friends for” Kim said with a smile

joron kept on glaring at Gabriella, who couldn’t understand the reasons for his glares though she became excessively scared but tried her beat in controlling how she felt, just as she was about taking a fork she felt the fork pierce her throat, as she struggled for breath, she was feeling pains as blood begun gushing out, the fork went in harder as she gasped for breath, that called for an alarm in the cafeteria,
?”omg what’s happening?”
?”how did a fork hang on her throat”
?”this is creepy”
?”can’t believe this”
the student murmured as she was Immediately rushed to the clinic
“how the hell did that happen” Agatha asked
“quite strange” Kim said
as rehana observed joron, he felt less worried and concerned towards what had happened to Gabriella, it was as though he didn’t take notice of what happened to her as he only concentrated on his food, rehana felt weird about this, but then did nothing as she went out with some other students in order to know what did happened to her

“she do sustained an injury on her throat, it is quite critical but we will handle it” the senior clinician said
“ma’am what happened to her, why did a fork hang over her throat just like that?” rehana asked
“it’s as though someone did it” the clinician said
as rehana eyes widened
“what do you mean by, someone did it to her, she was eating when the fork hung over her throat all of a sudden” rehana said
“well it doesn’t seem so, she can’t possibly do this to herself, i mean the wound is deep, so it can’t be a mistake” the clinician said as Rehana got more confused
“rehana” she heard her name all of a sudden as she turned back to see joron behind her
