FEW HOURS LATER
rehana regained consciousness as she opened her eyes, she felt a slight headache, as she slowly scrutinized her surroundings,
It was obvious to her that she was in a clinic room
“ hello” she heard as she turned her head north to see the cute looking gut sitting beside her bed
“ w…what’s going on?, where I’m i?, what of…” she trailed off as he only smiled
“ you’re in the school’s clinic” he said softly
She couldn’t remember a thing, that’d happened that landed her here,
“ where I’m I here?” she asked as she struggled standing but her head begun hurting
“ ouch” she winced
“ relax” he said as he held both of her shoulders bringing her to rest back on the bed
“ after some meds you sure are gonna be fine okay?” He said as she nodded
But rehana was really anxious as she wanted to know what had happened to her, cause the only memory she had was when she was in jake’s office and he was really furious, and he wanted her to lift a table
She wondered what happened after that
“ I know you’re curious, but I promise to tell you in full details okay?” he said as she nodded…..
She finally got discharged as they headed to the café and almost everyone had this amusing looks on their faces, including her friends and the slay goddess squads were staring at rehana with so much disdain
“ I prefer we seat over here” rehana said and occupied an empty seat beside her friends, joron sat beside rehana as some girls kept on eyeing him, and doing some body signs like biting their lips and all that just to get his attention
Obviously they were also drooling over joron
? she’s shamless, throwing herself at the cutest guys” one of the girls in gabriella’s squad said
“ I can’t believe that jake do carried her in his arms, such a drama b!tch” gabriella said in turn
“ well I’ll have to teach her a lesson, so she stays in her limits”…..

“ rehana how are you doing and what happened to you” Agatha asked wearingly
“ we felt so worry when we saw you in jake’s arms, then you were in a pretty bad state” kim said as rehana furrowed a brow and turned to joron who only nodded
“ yes they’re right, well I’m joron by name, and I’m jake’s closest friends….” He was interrupted,
“ hello joron sorry we didn’t take notice of you” the other girls chorused like controlled androids
“ no worries” he replied smiling back
“ so like I was saying I got to find the both of you in his office that was after I had heard a loud crash, when I got in I found you in his arms as your head was bleeding and his shirt was drenched in blood as well..” joron paused as they all gasped
Rehana wondered why she didn’t remember any of this
“ his office was in a mess, as his table was halfly broken, maybe he’d punished you to jerk it, and consequently it’d dropped on your head” joron said as she furrowed a brow
“ and that was why I’d passed out right” she asked as he nodded
“ ohh my goodness thank God nothing serious happened to you” kim said,
“ yes” Agatha added
“ truth be told I’m really scared of sir jake” nabi said
“ so…. So why can’t I remember any of this” rehana asked
“ cause you had a retrograde amnesia, the impact of shock to your brain was excessive thank goodness it didn’t cause more to your cells” joron said as rehana sat quietly in shock and fear
How can a human be this heartless, up to the extent that he wouldn’t care if it was at the risk of someone’s life rehana thought
“but don’t worry, I won’t let him hurt you ever again” joron said softly as rehana smiled a bits
