Camilla sighed ceaselessly as she remembered what Ryan had told her. Yes, turning herself in was going to save her from the burden she carried but also, will lead her to spending more years in prison
The gentle tap on her shoulder made her jolt out of her thought

Hilda boasted

THREE DAYS LATER****
Emerald sat nervously as he stare through the door waiting for Beauty to show up. He had sent her messages but she didnโt even reply to any which got him worried sick

โStay calm dude!โRange whispered to him but all he could do was nod nervously
Range looked up, his gaze met with that of Amour and she gave him a faint smile. It was obvious that she was worried too
Well, the reconciled and all thanks to Rover who did a job well done.
โWhere do you think youโre going? This is our final examination and you can miss out!โRange said grabbing Emerald who was already up from his seat
All these while, Hilda has been watching with a smile on her face
โItโs remaining two minutes man! Sheโs yet to be here!โEmerald said

As they were arguing, the invigilator walked in.
โHello students, Iโm Mrs Estelle sent to invigilate yโall!โ She introduced and without wasting much time, she began distributing the scripts to each students

The examination began and everywhere went silent
FEW HOURS LATER **
Each student troop out of the class heading to the cafeteria. It was break already
โI thought you wonโt make it. I almost passed out!โSugar joked and the others laughed. They all sat down with tray of food placed on the table
โI drank last night soโฆ. I woke up late. I never planned on missing the exam either. Itโs the final exam for goodness sake!โ Beauty replied

Hilda watched from the other table. The only thing she did was to smile while eating which Camilla noticed

The exam was over and now, it was a throwaway party. This, the new king and queen of the school will be chosen, that is, the face of the school
Already several press from different companies were already present going on live
The music was loud enough and it was obvious that the managements spent a lotโฆ.a whole lot
The place was already filled up even though the party was yet to begin. They were drinking, dancing, playing games, making out and so on
Pepper was seen with Daniel while Range with Amour but Rover couldnโt stop flocking around her

Beauty finally stepped out of the dressing room which made Emerald look up

Finally it was time to call out the faces of the school which was based on their performance for the academic session
The school managements sat respectively by their ranks. Mr Router could be seen on the high table with smiles on his face
Each parents sat at the other side. Beauty looked up nervously and her gaze met with her mom who gave her a smile.
โWhy am i nervous? Not like I want itโ she whispered to herself
โI guess its got up this time!โAmour whispered to her.
Beauty looked up and Emerald winked at her, she smiled
โWe will now announce to yโall the new face of the schoolโ the announcer who was a female said. There was dead silence. Even the drop of a pin could be heard
โFirst, Iโll introduce to yโall the king of the schoolโฆ..Emerald Greene!โ She said. There was uproar accompanied with claps
Emerald elegantly walked to the stage with smiles. He was given his crown and award
Hilda kept on blowing kisses
โThank you! Thank you!โEmerald kept saying
โI love you a*s!!โRyan screamed from the crowd
โNow, to call the new queen of the schoolโThe announcer paused which made everywhere tensed
The camera flashed at Hilda and she smiled shyly
โI seriously donโt want any girl beside him even though I donโt want that titleโ Beauty prayed with closed eyes

Sugar hit his head and he winced

Beauty slowly looked up with the crowd chanting her name. The camera caught her and the light diverted to her as she walked up the stage
โI disagree!โHilda screamed running to the stage as her mom ran after her. Well, he father didnโt make it to the party
โThe crown is supposed to be mine!โshe rant and brought out a gun. The crowd gasp as the press began taking videos
โThe crown is supposed to be mine!โ She said again and laughed maniacally
โWhatโs this madness?โ Emerald asked angrily
โYou!โHilda faced him
โI loved you but you hurt me badly by choosing this thing. I guess it has to end here!โshe said and pulled the trigger but there was no bullet
โWโฆ.what?!โShe said shocked. She has earlier loaded the gun
Then Camilla walked up to her

The cops rushed in
โYouโre under arrest miss Hilda for murder, bully and also attempted murder and you have to remain silent or wh@ลฅฤver you say will be used against you!โa cop said. He showed her an arrest warrant and without wasting much time, he handcuffed her
โLet me go!!!โhilda kept screaming
โLet go of my daughter you idiot. Sheโs innocent.โ Mrs Kaitlyn fought
โYouโre also under arrest Mrs Kaitlyn for partaking in the death of miss Flora,your step daughterโ Another cop said and handcuffed her
They were taken away
Vanilla was seeing crying profusely as Camilla walked to her

After few hours the party came back but it was gloomy
Emerald was crowned the king, while Beauty, his queen.
They both gave few speeches on stage.
โIโm beginning to love you more pumpkin!โEmerald said. He kissed Beauty as cool music kept on booming from the speaker
