Hello… .. honey” he said, smiling.
“Hi .. you called” Daisy mumbled
“Yeah. Just wanted to know how you are doing and Ava too. I’ve missed her much” Henry said.
“I know. And I’m sure she misses you too. She keeps talking about you. You know it’s been two days now. She haven’t set her eyes on you” Daisy mumbled.
“So where she is?” Henry asked.
“She went to school” she replied
“Okay. I will come see her. she won’t be having any problem with seeing me. Because we will be leaving together forever” Henry said.
“I can’t wait for that. … ” Daisy mumbled.
“What are you doing today?” He asked
“Hmm! Nothing much I just freshen up and I don’t have any where else to go. I will just stay home with my sister” she replied.
“What about tomorrow?” He asked.
“I’m going to the company” she replied.
“Oh! My bad” he muttered, rubbing his forehead, furiously and sighed softly.
“What’s matter with you? Why you asking me these questions?” She questioned.
“Do you want us to go somewhere” she added.
“Yeah….” He replied.
“Where?” She asked.
“Today’s my mom’s anniversary” he said.
“Your Mom’s anniversary….. You didn’t tell me” she said, surprised.
“I’m doing that now. I just wanted to know if you are chanced, so that we can just go together” Henry said.
“Alright. Just give me some time to dress up. Tell me where I can’t wait so that you can come pick me up” she said and walked to the closet, she placed the phone on her ear, with the help of her shoulder, she began looking for her wears, before Anna interfered, “thank you” she mumbled with a smile, and went to the bed, Anna brought out her wears, by then she was done with the call.
“So where are you going?” Anna asked.
“Hmm! It’s Mrs Harrison anniversary…. Henry’s mom” she said and shrugged her shoulders.
“Okay…..” She mumbled and sat on the bed, while Daisy quickly dressed up.
“That reminds me. You haven’t been staying at home with Dad” she said.
“I can’t go back home” Anna mumbled, frowning her face.
“Why?” She asked, staring at her.
“I think Dad is still mad at me for acting that way on your engagement party” Anna said.
“I disrespected him” she said, sadly.
“Com’on sweetie. You know Dad. I’m sure that he is no longer angry with you” Daisy mumbled and held her cheeks.
“How sure are you?” Anna asked.
“I know my dad. So when are you going to see him” Daisy said with a smile.
“Today or tomorrow but I can’t go alone” Anna muttered, Daisy looked at her and chuckled softly.
“Drama Queen is now scared of her own father” Daisy said, laughing, she rolled her eyes.
“Com’on sister. Will you come with me” Anna mumbled, looking at her.
“Hm! Yeah but it won’t be today. Tomorrow when I’m back from work” Daisy said with a smile.
“Alright” she muttered and hugged her, “thank you” she said.

Henry waited patiently for Daisy, some minutes later she arrived at the restaurant, she didn’t know that he has been waiting for her, she brought up her phone and called Henry, but he ended the call, she was a little scared, because she just wasted his time, he tapped her shoulder, she turned and smiled, as he kept smiling at her, she hugged him and apologized for coming late, but he quickly waved it off.
“Shall we?” He questioned.
“Yeah. Sure” she said with a smile, they left the restaurant, some minutes later, they arrive the cemetery, they got down from the car, he held her hand, as they walked passed Mr Harrison and Mrs Harrison, Kelvin wasn’t there, he has returned to the company, Daisy couldn’t say anything, though she wanted to say something, he smiled as they walked closer to her grave side.
“Mom …. I brought your daughter in law, like I promised. I’m sorry I didn’t do what you ask me to do” he said and step back, Daisy glance at him and moved closer to her grave.
“Mom…. I know Henry has been through a lot of things in life, we got separate while in high school, I didn’t get to know you better, but according to the stories I heard…. ..I know that you are good woman…. …it makes me sad that you won’t be there for my wedding.. ” she said.
I also lost my mom while I was still a baby…. I didn’t get to see her face… .. I’m sure you most have seen her… Please tell her that I love her so much and I love you too” Daisy mumbled and paused.
“I promise you that I will always love and support Henry…. .. May your gentle soul continues to rest in peace” she said, sobbing and kept the flowers on her grave, Henry rushed to hold her hand, he comforted her.
They left the cemetery, but Daisy was moody she doesn’t want to say anything, even when Henry tried to pick up a conversation with her, she didn’t respond to him, thirty minutes later they arrive at her house, he opened the door she came out of the car and walked to the house.
“Mommy……” Ava yelled and hugged her, she tried her best to smile.
“How are you honey…” She said with a little smile.
“I’m fine and you…. what about Dad?” She said, looking around the house, until he walked in.
“Oh! He is here” she said and hugged him, he welcomed her to his arms and smiled.
“Auntie Anna told me that you went for a meeting” she said with a smile.
“Hmm! Yeah….” He said and looked at Daisy, he put her down and closer to Daisy.
“Are you still sad?” He whispered softly, she shook her head, though she was sad.
“Okay…. I don’t want you to feel bad…. …so what do you want me to do” he said, smiling.
“Nothing. I will go ahead and prepare something” she said and walked to kitchen, Henry followed her.
“I know that you are still sad, I’m sorry” he mumbled and held her soft hands.
“I miss my Mom. Though I don’t really know who she is. Died after giving birth to me” she said, sobbing Henry pulled her into his arms and kiss her hair.
“It’s okay honey. I understand how you feel. I also feel the same way, I promise I will take care of you” he said, she nods.
“Com’on sweetie. At least smile for me” he said, staring at her pretty face, she smiled and hugged him again.
“Thank you so much Henry. Thanks for caring and loving me” she said.
“You’re welcome honey. Hmm! What do you want to prepare for lunch today” he said smiling.
“Hmm! I don’t know what to cook” she said, laughing at herself.
“Okay. I know what to cook, I would like … lemme say I would love it if you go to your room and take a nap. I promise you before you wake up, the food will be ready” he said, smiling.
“Huh…” She muttered, surprised.
“I can’t leave you alone in the kitchen. It’s my responsibility to make lunch for you and Ava” she said.
“Sorry honey. But it’s not your responsibility. Because I can decide to cook, and because you cook all the time doesn’t make it your responsibility. It’s everyone’s responsibility” he said, smiling.
“Okay…. So what are you saying?” She questioned, staring at him.
“Go to your room and rest. I will wake you up when the food is ready” he said and kissed her lips slightly, he led her out of the kitchen door, she glance at him and smiled, before leaving, Ava rushed to the kitchen and met Henry getting some items for the food, he wants to prepare.

“Don’t think about it” Mr Harrison said to Rose, who seated on the couch,
“He doesn’t want me. He’s still angry with me. No matter how hard I try to make him understand that I didn’t kílled Amanda. I just hope that one day the truth will be out. And he will understand that it wasn’t my fault. I didn’t kílled her” she said, sobbing, Mr Harrison comforted her.
“It’s okay dear. We just have to wait for him to get married, there will be a meeting. We will talk about it”
“What if he doesn’t listen to you. He’s so stubborn and smart” Rose mumbled.
“I know what to do next” Mr Harrison said.

Forty minutes later, he was done with the cook, he set up the dinner with the help of his little daughter, he placed the food on the table and went to Daisy’s bedroom, he opened the door and peeped through the door, and walked inside the room, but she wasn’t in the room, he walked out and went the study room, there she was busy with her laptop, she was very fast in replying most of the emails sent to her, since she couldn’t get to work yesterday and today.
“I asked you to rest not press” he said, looking at her, she looked at him and sighed.
“I’m sorry Mr Henry. But I needed to respond to this email, it’s very important” she said.
“Apology accepted, but I don’t think I will accept it, when we finally get married” he said with wink and smiled, she opened her eyes wide.
“Lunch is ready” he said, walking closer to her, this time she was standing, he held her waist and stared into her precious eyes, she couldn’t look away or blink her eyes, unknowingly to her, he captured her lips, she opened her eyes wide and brushed his hair, with her fingers as he deepen the kiss, she tried her best to catch up with him, he was very fast, soon he unlock from the kiss leaving her to catch her breathe, she was breathing fast, from her mouth, he stared her pink and wet lips, he wishes to kiss her lips again.
