“Don’t you dare!!!” Melody fired back, standing on her feet.
She was a few meters away from him, Lorenzo ran his hand through his hair and swallowed nothing while turning his back to her, he turned back and face her only to see tears rolling down her eyes
“I should be happy, isn’t it?” she asked sniffing none stop
“I should be happy that you cheated, just a day and you were already with that girl of all people!” she shouted whilst hitting her fist against his chest, pushing him backward
Lorenzo was silent
“What if it was me?” she asked, using the back of her palm to clean the tears in her eyes, she sniffed before looking up at his face
“What if I kiss Micheal…”
“You won’t do that,” he cut her off
“Why? You did the same so why is it so bad for me to do it too?” she asked, staring directly into his eyes
“I’m sorry,” he said, shifting closer
“She was all over you, touching you, kissing you…”
He swiftly pulled her by her waist hugging her tightly, Melody started struggling to break free from his hold but he was 10× stronger than her
“Lemme go!!” she screamed, hitting his back
“Just calm down….”
“No, I wanna go make out with Micheal so you will know how I feel,”
“That’s gonna hurt and break my heart….”
“Oh, yeah, the same way you broke mine…”
“I didn’t have a choice….”
“There is always a choice, you choose to be a puppet, you choose to break my heart and…” he slammed his lips on hers, shutting her up
He didn’t know what else to do since she won’t calm down. Melody tried breaking from his kiss but he deepens it, she didn’t know when she grant him access into her mouth
Lorenzo broke the kiss cupping her face while staring directly into her eyes, she sniffed with tears still rolling down her eyes
“I’m so sorry, I take all the blame. All of it, it’s my fault,” he said softly, she hugged him again sobbing
“It hurt so bad,” she mumbled, soaking his chest with tears
Lorenzo stroke her hair gently, he could feel pain in his back that was already bleeding cos of the way she was hitting him earlier
After a few seconds, Melody disengaged from the hug
“I Love you so much,” she suddenly said, staring at his face
He was silent making her wonder if he didn’t feel the same way
“I know, and I also know that you belong to me the same way I belong to you, I love you more,” he replied cupping her face in his palms
“But my Mom doesn’t like you cos of your father,”
“My Dad doesn’t like you either cos of your mother,”
“So,”
“It’s You and me against the world, we will be together forever. Nothing is gonna tear us apart, do you agree?” he asked and Melody nodded
“Nothing is gonna change my love for you, not even my Mom…” Melody looked at her hand which was stained with blood before staring at his face
Lorenzo became alerted
“It’s nothing….”
“lemme see,” she insisted, cutting him off
He took off his shirt, slowly turning his back to her and she gasped, covering her mouth with her palms.
She walked over to her closet taking out her first aid kit.
“This is gonna sting so bad but it will heal faster,” she said and sat on the bed
Lorenzo was silent as she cleaned the surface of his wound before applying treatment, he shut his eyes instantly.
“It sure stings”
“Sorry,” Melody blow air from her mouth to his back.

“Stacy, this is sick, I’m a grown woman. I don’t see why you will keep trying to hook me up with some men….”
“Because men are afraid to ask you out….”
“That’s how I like it,” Goddess cut in.
Stacy sniffed, nodding her head none stop
“My kid sister whom I went to jail for a crime she committed, I spent 14 years of my life behind bars just because I love her too much and she can’t even do a single thing for me,” Stacy said faking tears, Goddess dropped the cigarette in her hand
That’s it, she always used that against her
“Just a date, is it too much to ask?” Stacy added, sobbing
“Fine, I will go just stop with the crybaby,” Goddess replied, she just couldn’t watch her cry, she can’t deal with the guilt
It’s just a date after all.
“Really?”
“As if I have a choice,” she rolled her eyes, taking her liquor on the table she sipped from it before dropping it back.
“Go get ready and make it work this time,” Stacy said excitedly.
“I will make it run,” She replied, walking away whist swinging her @zz as she walks
“What an @zz, how can you be so stingy? You gathered all the @zz and keep it for yourself,” Stacy said, staring at her big @zz

Goddess walked past Jeremy’s door but stopped and went back, pushing the door open she went in without knocking.
Jeremy on the other hand was just coming out from his bathroom dripping wet, he has a white towel tied around his waist and for a second she stood there staring at him
“handsome,” she mumbled
“Did you say something?” Jeremy asked softly
“Dress up, we have another date,” she replied and turned to leave but stopped and face him again
Jeremy raised his brows, wondering why she stopped
“Be my boyfriend for 3 months,” she suddenly said and his jaw dropped instantly.
“Huh,”
“I’m paying for it, name your price,” she added calmly, first time speaking in a gentle voice without snapping or being bossy.
The soft knock on the door made Jeremy walk away from her, she has that blank look on her face making it difficult for him to read her mind
Of course, she was doing it just to get Stacy off her back
Brian entered, he has his laptop in his hand as he stopped right in front of his boss, slowly he look at her face
“Boss….”
“Get to the point,” she snapped in her usually cold voice
he shivered in fear and swallowed nothing
“This is what I found,” Brian replied with shaking lips, he played the video on his lap and Jeremy’s image appeared, they watch as he entered Goddess’s room and switched her drink
Goddess looked at him, their eyes met
“You might wanna hear this,” Brian clicked another footage, it was footage of Jeremy and Bush having a conversation
JEREMY: I detest her more than you can imagine, She’s nothing but a cold bloody Monster, who thinks she can buy whoever she pleases, using humans as animals
BUSH: So, what are you gonna do about it?”
JEREMY: make her fall senselessly in love with me, take her money and dump her sorry @zz, report her criminal activity to the government
Jeremy looked at her
“Mistress, I didn’t say that, we were having a different conversation, I…….”
“Move to the next one,” Goddess said referring to Brian, totally ignoring him
He clicked on the exact day she slept with him
JEREMY: It’s done, so what now?”
BUSH: I think this is wrong….
JEREMY: What are you? A chicken?
BUSH: no, I’m just saying that she doesn’t deserve to….
JEREMY: stop being a coward, do you know she screams in her sleep? Calling this stupid name, Richard whatsoever, she’s so horrible that she can’t even have a good night.
Goddess slammed the laptop shut instantly, Brian looked at her before staring at Jeremy. He left without being told
Meanwhile, Stacy was helping Zion with his assignment when a young man walked in through the door
The guards were behind him

Bex just sat on the left side while Nickolas was on the right side of the elevator, none saying a word to each other
“Are you cold?” Nickolas decided to break the silence
Bex didn’t even look at him, he knows she was mad at him but he wasn’t gonna give up
“You can have my jacket,” he said, taking off his jacket and passing it to her
Finally, she opened her eyes, staring at him with those angry looks on her face
“I don’t need it,” Bex rolled her eyes
“For the baby, your baby,” he added, stretching it forward
She still didn’t take it from him
“Please,”
She took it when he became persistent, covering herself up, it wasn’t up to five minutes before his body began shaking, and she noticed how he was trying to hide it but didn’t even bother to ask
Why should she care? The silence between them was so awkward, Bex looked at him again to see him clenching onto his feet and shaking really badly.
“You aren’t tolerance to cold yet you give away your jacket,” she threw it back at him
Nickolas caught it, he didn’t waste a second before throwing it back at her
“I’m good, just having a little…”
“Keep it to yourself,” she cut him off
He gulped, nodding sadly
There was silence between them again, Bex didn’t stop staring at him even though she wanted to. Her conscious couldn’t leave her alone so she went closer to him
“This is all your fault,” she said rudely, covering him with his jacket
Nickolas made to remove it but she hit his hand away, a big frown on her face
“Just accept my kindness since you don’t know how to give one,” she scolded, she was also cold but it wasn’t bad.
“Thank you,” Nickolas mumbled
“Who cares,” she rolled her eyes, Bex stood trying to move away from him but the elevator suddenly moved, she lost her balance falling on his lap.
A gasp escaped her mouth
“sorry….”
“Quite all the act,” she went down from his lap
His body was shaking so badly that she couldn’t help worrying about him, how can he be such a baby? He knows he’s not tolerance to cold so why come out?
“Bex,”
“That’s my name,”
“I don’t know if I will die before tomorrow or if my heart will be frozen but I just wanna let you know how sorry I’m, I’m not saying that you should forgive me but I’m just saying it, all the things I did was your friends ideal….”

“That snake, I fed her throughout high school and this was how she repay me?” she sneered, greeting her teeth, she’s sure gonna deal with her

She looked at him, she can’t be mad at him forever and she was not good with keeping malice.
Bex inhale and exhaled before she shifting closer to him, taking his cold hand She placed it on her tummy

Nickolas chuckled and before you know it he started giggling, he was so happy.
He could feel it, the baby’s movement, it felt so good.
“Bex,” they heard a voice outside, the elevator door flew open and Glassman and Arianna came to view
His eyes went to her Tummy which Nickolas was holding and jealousy kicked him, luckily enough they came with the paramedic
“Take your hands off what’s not yours,” Glassman forcefully pulled him off her
“Hey..”
“Shut your d@mn mouth and get yourself another,” he snapped pushing him back with a punch
Nickolas fell face down
Nickolas badly wanted to fight back but he didn’t have strength, the snow falling outside did wonders on him
“Glassy stop it,” Bex shouted rushing to Nickolas but Glassman held her back
“You belong to me and you should know that is it because I haven’t asked you out, okay here is a ring,” he said, bringing out a ring from his trouser pocket
“I belong to no man, okay? stop being a jerk,” she walked past him
Glassman watched as she left with the paramedic, why does she care about him? He never wanted her, he treated her awfully and he was there for her so why now?
“Hey, she will come around,” Arianna said softly, Glassman didn’t even spare her a glance as he stormed out of the place

Simon stopped in front of Agatha’s hostel, his both hands stuck in his trouser pocket
“Thanks,” she placed a soft kiss on his cheek, a light smile on her face
He felt it, his heartbeat doubled
“Emm… Aggie,” he called, Agatha who was about to open her door looked back at him
“Yes,”
Simon brought out the gold necklace he bought
He just has to do it, he can’t keep it to himself anymore
“Is there a problem Simon?” she asked innocently
“Will you be my girlfriend?” he finally released the bombshell
She was taken aback, Agatha stared at the gold necklace in his hand, she was supposed to feel it but why isn’t it there?
The butterfly’s, her heartbeat was normal
“Simon…”
“Is that a yes?” he asked cutting her off, Deep down he prayed and wished she will accept him.
“I’m sorry, I do not feel that way towards you, I only see you as a friend…”
“Why can’t you love me? Is it because of Barry?” he asked, his voice breaking
She was silent
“I knew it, so you love him?” he asked staring at but she avoided eyes contact
Seeing that she didn’t say a word he dropped the necklace on her doorstep and left in tears, his heart was shattered into pieces, he first time taking it seriously with a girl and he got his heart fried
“I’m sorry,” Agatha mumbled sadly, she opened her door and went in but just then she heard a knock
Thinking that it was Simon, maybe he came back, she opened it but a white handkerchief covered her nose instantly, and before she could know it, everything went black.
A male figure carried her in a bridal style into her room while another person closed the door behind, locking it……
