Clara is seen trying to throw a ball into the net a few meters away from her but she failed, she tried again but still didn’t get it
“Lemme try,” a tomboy (Max) said beside her.
“We are taking it home,” Barry shouted, raising his hand, he throw the ball and it hit the basket jumping back
“uhh,” Agatha mouthed sadly
“Baby don’t worry…”
“Stop calling me that,” she quickly cut in, stylishly looking around
“No one is watching,” Clara uttered grinning inwardly
Barry was about to hit her when Max pulled her away taking the hit
“How romantic, now I’m jealous,” Barry said making a face
They all burst out laughing
“Momma she hit me, she hit me here,” Barry said, showing Agatha her arm
She pushed his chest backward a little
“You’re such a baby,”
“Okay, Now they want to ki|| me,” Barry mumbled
Max threw the ball and it went straight into the net

Meanwhile, Abigail and Austin were in the next range not far from them, immediately she saw how close Cara and Max were, jealousy kicked in
Clara pulled away from the hug, pecking Max’s cheek
“You’re such a lifesaver,” she added cutely
“Oh, it’s just a Barbie doll baby, I will buy the factory,” Barry said, touching his shirt proudly
Agatha’s cheeks flash red

From nowhere Abigail pulled Clara forcefully out of Max’s grip, sending a deadly glare at her
“whoo, what was that?” Max asked, shocked at her reaction
She doesn’t even know her so why would she react that way? She looked at Clara then at Abigail, slowly moving forward but Clara held her back.
She already knows how crazy Max can be so she doesn’t want trouble
The tension between them was awkward as they stared h@ťěfully at each other.
“Guys, why not we eat some barbecue, or maybe a tuna fish,” Barry said, breaking the awkward silence
“I’m in,” Max said raising her hand
“Abby, I didn’t know that you were coming here, Hi Austin,” Agatha said, waving at Austin
“Hi, Aggie, you look beautiful….”
“That’s enough,” Barry snapped instantly, shutting him up

Meanwhile, Abigail couldn’t take her gaze off Clara, she didn’t even pay attention to Austin anymore, Max tried feeding Clara and she frowned deeply
“Hey, I’m a grown @zz woman…. uh that’s not fair,” Clara pouted, giving her that puppy look and Max smiled
She actually pushed the barbecue in her mouth
Abigal stood up and left instantly.
“Abby,” Clara went after her
She caught up with her by the door and held her hand

“Who is she?” Abby asked jealously
“Oh, Maxine,” Clara chuckled
“I Didn’t ask for her name,”
“She’s Barry’s cousin sister, she will be joining our school….”
“Don’t tell me you will leave with her?”
“Yeah, we will share a room, why?” Clara asked cluelessly

“I’m outta here,” Abigail walked away, leaving her in confusion
“What happened? Why is she acting strange?” Clara muttered to herself confusedly
“You okay?” Max asked from behind
“yeah, let’s go,”
“Have you seen Lilly,” Came Charles’s voice from behind
Turning around, Clara jumped back in fear when she saw him, he has a gun in his hand and he looked wasted

The dining was silent as everyone ate quietly, Nickolas kept stealing glances at Bex from time to time. Glassman wasn’t left out
Arianna on the other hand couldn’t help but stare at the way Glassman was acting all lovey-dovey towards Bex.
“So, what do you both do for a living? Did you pass through college,” Mrs. Miller asked, staring from Arianna to Bex
“Yeah, I went to Cambridge,” Arianna replied simply
“Wow, what about you?” she asked, referring to Bex
“Didn’t pass through college,” Bex replied a little nervous
She would have gone to College if not fake her stupid love for Ryan, she took her mother’s money and run away
“uhh, that’s sad,” Bella mumbled.
”Why? You didn’t have a sponsor?” Mrs Miller asked, she seems to be interested in the conversation.
“I left home a week after submitting my college forms….”
“Why would you leave?” Glassman cut in sharply
“Can we just eat and leave the lecture for another time,? Nickolas asked, seeing how badly Bex’s hand was shaking.
Bex’s phone buzzed, Arianna passed her handbag to her and she brought out her phone to see Goddess calling
“I will take this,” she said, walking away from them
After a few moments, she returned and took her bag
“I have to go, thanks for having us over for Thanksgiving ma’am,” Bex said with a smile
“I will drive you home,” Glassman said
“I will drop you off,” Nickolas said
They both said at the same time, Mrs. Miller and Bella exchanged glances
“We should go,” Arianna took Bex’s hand pulling her out of the house
“Dude, what’s your problem?” Nickolas sneered, staring angrily at Glassman
“I should be the one asking you that,” Glassman fired back
“Seat down both of you,” came Mrs Miller’s voice
“Mom, I don’t get it., he’s supposed to be my friend, he’s supposed to help me gain her forgiveness but no! Instead he wants to take her away from me, who does that? I thought we were friends?” Nickolas said, more in a yell
“I’m your friend, okay? You’re the one who’s being unreasonable, you said it yourself that you don’t want her, I pleaded with you but you never listen. You even went as far as blocking her every means of income just because she’s pregnant for you and refused to abort the child like you requested…….,”
“You did What???” Mrs. Miller’s Jaw dropped in shock
Nickolas roughed his hair not knowing what to say, he took his phone and car keys going over to the door, he walked out

“Excuse me, who are you?” Zion asked blocking the way, Melody who was in her piggy fat costume glared at him

“Move,” she shoved him aside and walked in, going over to Goddess’s room but Zion ran forward and stood at the door
“I’m the only one allowed to go in there so tell me who are you? And why would you want to go in,” Zion questioned her
“MUM!!!!” Melody screamed out her lungs, she was going through heartbreak and this guy wants to add to it
“What bestie…… Zion let her pass,” Goddess said upon seeing the scene
“Bestie? Mom,why is she your bestie? What about me?” he asked, jealousy kicked inside him immediately
“Just let her pass…”
“I changed my mind,” Melody left there, going over to her room.
“Watch it, Kid,” Jeremy said gently
Melody actually bumped into him, she was checking her phone to see if Lorenzo texted her but he didn’t, she already sent him more than 20 message’s which he only read a few and ignored the rest
“Are you okay?” he asked and she nodded, picking up her face cup that fell off
She wore her face cap
“How do I look?” She asked, her both hands resting on her waist
Jeremy’s gaze was fixed on the cap, he certainly has seen it somewhere.
His eyes moved to the G letter which was boldly written with a red lipstick. Slowly he took it from her
Staring closely at it
“What’s this?” He asked touching the lipstick
“lipstick I guess,”

FLASHBACK
“Hey, give that back, you can’t seduce me and have my cap,” A boy yelled
The girl he was referring to chuckled playfully
“I’m keeping it,” she replied smiling sweetly at him

“Shhhh” she covered his mouth with her palms, stylishly looking around
“Don’t shh shh me,” he frowned, hitting her hand off his mouth
“I’m married silly and if my husband hears that you’re dead, we are dead,” she replied, trying to calm him down

“Don’t be such a baby, here is 50 bucks, get a new cap,” she took her lipstick and write G on it
“It’s mine now,” she added smiling
“Honey, come on, why are you taking so long?” they heard a man’s voice outside
They are currently in the restroom
“That’s my husband, see you in the future,” she pecked his cheek before walking away

“JEREMY!!!!” Melody stepped on his toes, screaming into his ears.
He jolted back to reality
“What were you thinking? Have been calling you for over an hour now,” she added sadly
Jeremy still couldn’t believe it
“Where did you get this?” Jeremy asked to be sure, he still didn’t want to believe what his mind was telling him
“It’s Mom’s,”
“She gave it to you?”
“Nah, I took it… more like I stole it,” She replied and wore it back but he took it from her
Does she know he was the guy she took the cap from? What if it’s not? No! The lipstick, she wrote G with it and it’s exactly the same, could Goddess be the rich married girl that seduced him into sleeping with her at a party?
“She kept it after all these years,” he said out loud and Melody looked at him
“She kept what???”
“Nevermind, take it….”
“No, you can keep it, Happy Thanksgiving,” Melody walk past him
Jeremy held the Cap tightly, to his heart, Does she know? Goddess thinks of everything, so what if she does?

The family of five sat around the table filled with different kinds of meals
Zion didn’t have a single smile on his face as he ate gently, the fact that his mother called Melody bestie still bothers him
Stacy took a glass of wine and raise it up
“To our family, happy Thanksgiving and happy reunion,” She said, standing on her feet
Bex took her wine and Melody also did the same together with Zion
“Drop it, both of you,” Goddess said pointing at Melody and Zion
“Mum, come on, it’s Thanksgiving,” Zion mumbled cutely
“Mummy please, just a little,”
“It wasn’t asking, I’m telling you,” she said with a straight face
Melody released a breath, she dropped the wine, picking up the strawberry juice, Zion took Apple
“So, Bex is the First child, Melody came second and Zion is the last,” Stacy said staring from one person to another
“Have always wanted to see you, not knowing that I have seen you before,” Melody hugged Bex tightly
“We have???” Bex asked surprised, she haven’t seen her anywhere
“Yes, at the Mall, I once forgot my purse and you gave it back….”
“No way,” Bex shouted cutting it, it was then that it hit her
“You’re that fat girl? But how???” Bex was beyond shock, she clearly remembers seeing her
“Mum made me where this thing….”
“Can you shut up?” Zion snapped angrily
Everyone exchanged glances, staring at him shocked
He didn’t even care as he focus on his food, why will their mother call Melody Bestie? Does that mean she loves her more?
“Apologies,” Stacy said staring at him
He hissed and rolled his eyes
“Why would I do that? I don’t like her,” he scoffed

“And I said no,” he fired back, banging his fist against the table
“You’re grounded for two months with no technology,” Came Goddess’s voice voice
Bush dropped her weed on the table and she took it, she lit her weed smoking
Bex began coughing so she has to put it off.
She didn’t even touch her food
“Mom, you can’t do that,” Zion yelled, tears pricking out from the corner of his eyes

“Same way you can’t talk to my big sister or yours in such an awful manner,” Goddess replied, staring directly into his eyes
“You used to love me, what happened?”
“Who’s talking about love? We’re talking about your attitude don’t twist it,” Goddess replied instantly
Zion glared h@ťěfully at Melody, dropping his cutlery he stood
“Seat down,” Stacy said softly
He rolled his eyes but a glare from Goddess got his @zz back on the chair
“Happy Thanksgiving Goddess,” Michael said coming in
Goddess didn’t say a thing, he sat Next to Bex smiling sweetly
“What are you doing here,” Melody asked softly
“Oh, you have been ignoring me cos of your new boyfriend Lorenzo,” He replied, trying to see her reaction
The maids came forward and dish his meal
“Who is Lorenzo?” Stacy asked curiously
The name started repeating in Goddess’s ears, the same guy that broke up with Melody?
Michael chuckled
“That one? Lorenzo D’hans, rumors have it that his father Owns a Gambling Dan downtown,” Michael took a spoonful into his mouth.
“So you’re dating a gambler’s son?” Stacy asked with disappointment
“They call him Pablo,” Micheal added nodding his head in support of what he just said
“No, we’re just friends…..”
“f-__-k it!! From now henceforth you will stay away from that boy!!” Came Goddess’s deep cold voice

“You won’t make me, okay?” Melody yelled standing on her feet
A loud thunderous slap visited her face instantly, her head spun, and before she could know it another one came to her other cheek, Melody lost her balance and fall.

Even Stacy was shocked at Goddess’s reaction, she has never seen her this angry
Melody held her burning cheeks in tears, all her life Goddess has never hit her this way.

“Maybe I should get going,” Michael uttered, slowly looking around.
