Everyone ran outside, watching the fight while the security tried separating them
They succeeded in pulling Lorenzo away, Micheal’s face was unrecognizable, he has a deep cut on his right cheek
His lips were busted and he had a dark cycle around his left eye.
Melody rushed forward, her eyes widened when she saw Micheal in that state
Lorenzo was still standing there when she ran past him, squatting beside Michael
“Mikey, are you okay?” She asked in her tiny voice, touching his stomach but Micheal winched in pain and she quickly withdraws her hand
Lorenzo step forward
“We should leave,” he said, trying to hold her hand but she hit his hand away
“Go away,” she said more like yelling
Two securities grabbed his hand, and Lorenzo forcefully push them off him, he pushed so hard that they lost their balance and went falling far away
He took a step near Melody
“Go away, you’re acting like a Monster,” She screamed fearfully.
He was totally scary
Lorenzo stared at her shocked, did she just call him a monster? Never in a million years will he believes that she will call him that
“What are you waiting for? Go!!!” She screamed at the top of her lungs
“She called me a Monster,” he thought silently, slowly shifting back
His heart was hurting as he walked down the street, he was trying so hard not to break down
She called him a Monster, is he really a Monster? Is that what she thinks of him? But Micheal started it and he fought back so why does she think he’s a Monster?
Many thoughts were running through his mind as he walked back home.
He didn’t go back to school or their mansion, since he was not staying in the hostel, he went straight to Melody’s place
Getting there her house was locked so he went in through the window

•THE DEVIL’S BROTHERS MANSION•
“Thanks for staying back,” Micheal said gently
They went to the hospital where he got his wounds treated so they are currently inside his car, in front of their mansion
Melody nodded, her mind went to Lorenzo but she waved it off
“Coming for our get-together? You just came back and need to be celebrated,” he added and she smiled
Michael tucked a hair stand behind her ear, staring directly into her eyes
“Just tell her already,” his subconscious mind said
He has always loved her since day one, it was love at first sight and he has tried telling her countless times but Goddess won’t let him
And he doesn’t want to be heartbroken or lose his friendship that’s why he kept calm
“Melody,” he called and she looked at him
“Yape,” she raises her brows
“I em …” Her phone buzzed
Melody checked to see Abigail calling
“I gotta go, see you tomorrow,” she said cupping his face, Melody placed a soft kiss on his cheek and went down
He watched as she stopped a taxi and went in
“I think I will have to tell her, I don’t care what Goddess is gonna do” He mumbled and went down, going Into their mansion

•GODDESS MANSION•
The gate was heavily guarded, with no space for an intruder
One would think it’s the president’s house cos of the number of securities roaming around
“Hey, get your @zz’s back here, does this place looks like a restaurant?” the gatekeeper asked rudely
“I’m here to see your boss, Goddess,” Bex said gently
“you have to sign in like everyone else, stay in a straight line, and your names,” the gatekeeper ordered
Arianna scoffed
“Is that really necessary?” Glassman inquired
“Your name,” he snapped at them
“Bex,” she replied
“Just Bex? No tail?” he asked glaring at them
“BGR,” she added simply
The gatekeepers type it on the computer right in front of him and his eyes widened at what came up, he looked at Bex’s face then back at his system, he looked at her again zooming the Image on his system
A shocked expression could be seen written all over his face
Meanwhile, Goddess was inside her Limo going out when she sported Bex and her friends
“My money is here,” she thought silently
“Reverse,” came her cold voice
“Why?” Her Chauffeur didn’t know when it left his mouth
Bex and others were staring at the Black Limo when it stopped abruptly, a handsome guy came down and next he pulled the chauffeur out from the limo, kicking his face in the process
It’s actually Jeremy
Another person grabbed his collar and fling him outside the gate.
“You’re fired,” Bush slammed the gate, he was looking all dangerous, he has no expression on his face making Arianna shift back a little
“Okay, now I’m scared,” Arianna mumbled and looked at Bex who is blinking back tears
“This way Miss,” a security guard leads the way
They were led In and Arianna didn’t stop looking around, the whole building was magnificent
Starting from the gate to the main door, the flowers at the entrance and the big couch
The pool outside sparkles brightly, reflecting the sun in the sky, the building walls were painted white, no stain
“Oh, my God, Miracle baby!!” Stacy’s voice came from the sitting room, rushing towards them
Arianna and Glassman exchange glances
“Aunty….” She pulled her Into a hug, hugging her tightly as if she doesn’t want to let go
“I missed you so much, look at my Miracle baby,” Stacy pulled away, checking her out before pulling her into a tight hug again
Pressing her body against hers
“Aunty, my tummy hurts,” Bex muttered gently
Stacy disengage from the hug and scanned through her body, filled with happiness, she hugged her again
“Emm… I was wondering if I could get a little bit of hug, please don’t mind me, I’m always jealous,” Arianna pouted cutely
“They are my friends, Glassy and Arianna, and this is My Mummy’s sister, Aunty Stacy,” Bex Introduced
“Nice meeting you,” Glassman offered a handshake
“I want a hug,” Arianna uttered and Stacy pulled her into a hug
“Now I’m jealous,” Glassman mumbled, Bex bumped her shoulder into his
“Don’t be silly,” she mumbled cutely, for a moment he was lost staring at her pretty face
They were led to the dining and the maids flooded the table with different kinds of meals as if they were expecting them
Jeremy walked in
“The money,” he asked casually
Bex looked up and gulped emptiness
“Can I see Mom,” She asked softly
“No…”
“Yes,” Stacy stood and urges Bex to follow her
“If anyone has told me earlier that Bex was born of the richest woman in Las Vegas, topping the world record I would never believe it,” Glassman said.
“What can I say, she’s my role model, I love Goddess more than I love myself,” Arianna replied sipping from her drink

“Mistress,” Jeremy called walking into her room
“What?” Goddess who is smoking and staring out through the window asked questioningly
“I have a little bit of news, Mistress, there is certainly no reason to overreact or be upset about it,” he added calmly
Slowly she turned her face to him
“This woman is too beautiful to be human,” his subconscious mind said
“Shut up,” he said out loud and she raised her brows
“$h|t, hope she didn’t hear that?”
Little wonder, she did.
“She didn’t come with the money and she’s requesting to see you,” he said nevertheless
She was silent
Just then the door opened and Stacy together with Bex who looked scared entered
“Kid,” Stacy called glaring at her
Goddess fixed her gaze on Bex, staring from her head to toe, her classless clothes to her outdated heels, her little big belly to her messy hair
It wasn’t actually messy but it was messy in her eyes, how could a child her mother is rich enough to buy Vegas be wearing that?
“My money?” she asked with a straight face
Bex gulped nervously
“Kid, come on, how much is it? I will pay you back, just give her a hug,” Stacy said softly, she held Bex’s shoulder pushing her forward
Goddess didn’t say a single word, her gaze filled on scared Bex
“I don’t have it,” she replied, already in tears
“Then what are you doing here?” She scolded
“I came to apologize,” Bex replied, picking on her nails, she was d@mn scared.
“Get the boys ready, we are leaving as planned,” Goddess ordered, she dropped her cigarettes stick In the ashtray right beside her
Reaching for the glass of vodka on the table, she took it and drank it all, Goddess dropped her glass cup and processed outside
“She’s just a kid, come on,” Stacy called but she ignored her
Bex blocked her way before she could step outside
“Mummy please….” Goddess shove her aside and walked past
“I’m sorry, help me tell Mummy that I’m sorry, I didn’t know what came over me. Aunty, I didn’t know what I was doing,” her sorrowful cries filled the air
“Mummy please,” Bex called pleadingly while running toward her
Goddess didn’t even spare her a glance as she walked out of the house
Arianna and Glassman followed Bex immediately she ran out of the house, going after her mother
Goddess walked over to the Limo and Jeremy opened the door for her
Just when she was about to go in, Bex ran forward and held her dress.
“Mummy, please I’m sorry,” she cried out painful, hot tears rolling down her cheeks
What will she do without her mother? She was her only hope.
Without saying a word, a loud thunderous slap landed on Bush’s cheek, it came from Goddess
“Have you lost your sanity? Don’t you know your job?” She fired, her eyes filled with rage
Bush came back to his senses instantly
Rubbing his palm against his burning cheeks, he dragged Bex away, ordering two other guards to hold her down as she was struggling to go meet Goddess again
Goddess hissed, she was about to go into the car again when Bex hugged her tightly from behind, locking her hands around her flat tummy
She actually broke free from the guards holding her
She held her tightly, pressing her body against hers, her tears soaking Goddess’s clothes
Everyone just stood and watch
Arianna was already sobbing softly, she just couldn’t help it
“Here,” Glassman gave her his handkerchief
“Thank you,” she took it, wiping her tears but more were still coming
“Get your hands off me, or do you want me to force you?” Goddess asked coldly, her face holding no emotions at all
“Mummy please, I’m sorry. I didn’t know what I was doing, I was blinded with love and I thought he was genuine, I thought he was meant for me that’s why I took the money….”
“My hard earn money, you took my money and shut me out,” Goddess said cutting in
“Mummy please…..”
“Get her off me,”
Bex tighten her grip around her, shaking her head negatively which indicates that she didn’t want to let go.
“I’m sorry, Mummy please do not forsake me for I’m drowning, Mummy it’s me, your Miracle Baby. I was wrong and I don’t deserve forgiveness but if you forsake me who will I go to? Who will be My Mom? I can’t buy a Mom for none will be like you. I’m tired, Mummy they are stronger than me and they built great walls against me, Mummy please,” Bex hiccupped, streams of tears rolling down her eyes
“I’m so sorry Mom, Mummy look upon my affliction and my pain and have Mercy, I’m going into depression, My heart hurts, it’s aching so bad that I just want to die but then I remembered, I have a Mom. Mummy do not let them laugh at me, I swear I was blinded, I… I was… I was just a stupid kid who knows nothing. Mummy please have Mercy on me, I might die if you forsake me, please let your anger reduce even if it’s just a little, it’s me, your Miracle Baby, Mummy! Your precious little girl who was lost. Mummy you brought me out from danger when I was still a fetus, will you let me die now? I’m sorry please forgive me, Mummy look at me, all it could take was a pill to get rid of me but you kept me because I was a miracle, Please don’t forsake me, let those that took everything from me know that I have a Mom,” She slides down to her knees, hugging Goddess’s legs
“I’m drowning, I’m lost in and my life has fallen apart, Mummy please I’m so sorry, lead me in your path so I will do everything you want me to do, Mummy!! Please!!!” She sobbing endlessly, bubbles coming out from her nose, her eyes balls turned red
Slowly Goddess lowered her gaze, staring at her, she was holding tightly unto her leg as if she didn’t want to let go
The heart of a child, the connection between mother and child, she couldn’t move even though she wanted to, her heart melted. The rage was washed away by her pleads
Her cries reached into her and connect to her soul, How much is it? Her Miracle baby
Goddess squat a little, grabbed her arms she pulled her up, whilst staring directly into her eyes, she stare at her face and memories clouded her mind
she took her hand to her face, slowly wiping off her tears with her thumb
Filled with blame, regret, and agony she hugged goddess tightly. She regretted her actions, stupidly falling in love with the wrong guy
“Mummy, I’m so sorry,” Bex hiccupped, tears streaming down her eyes
Goddess was fighting back tears, trying hard not to cry but they came rushing down her cheeks
“My Miracle Baby, the only key to my heart,” she started worshiping her face with kisses
She missed her little girl so much, she loves all her kids but she doesn’t want to let it show, to her vulnerability is a weakness.
“Mom, I’m having a baby,” Bex said, she disengage from the hug staring at her face
“Really?” Goddess asked and she nodded tearfully
Goddess chuckled softly

•BEX’S APARTMENT•
Nickolas knocked softly on the door, he waited patiently
Arianna opened up after a few minutes and he shifted back a little
“Hey,” he said calmly, like a gentleman
She glared at him from head to toe and hissed
“Bex is not here,” she made to slam the door at his face but he quickly put his leg in the way stopping her
“I know I have been horrible to her for the past months, I know I don’t deserve forgiveness for being stupid, an @$$h0le, and a jerk. I just wanna make things right, Please let me see her,” he said with teary eyes
“She’s not here, she left,” she replied rudely and rolled her eyes
“Tell me where to find her,” he said impatiently
“At her mother’s house,” she replied
“Can I please get the address, I would love to go tonight, I badly want to see her, please. I’m pleading with you,” he said desperately
“Goddess’s mansion, you know the way right?” She raises her brows
“Go…Goo… Godd… Goddess is her Mom????
