CHAPTER FIFTY FIVE
While Alondria slept peacefully,Jared was busy watching her.
He didn’t sleep a wink after their escapade the previous night.
He didn’t know if it was going to be a dream that he will have to wake up from, so he stayed awake.
To watch her, to make sure she doesn’t leave his side.
Alondria’s alarm rang amd she snapped her eyes open only to come face to face with her husbands shiny eyes and smiling face.
I slept in his room? she thought looking around.
The pain in between her thighs came reminding her of what happened the previous night as she blushed.
Good morning blushing queen, Jared greeted sweetly.
Good morning Jay, she replied sitting up.

I should be asking you that, anyways why were you staring?
I was making sure you won’t leave when you wake up.

Where did you find the little rat yesterday? Alondria asked Asher and he chuckled.
Scarlet quickly covered his mouth with her tiny hands begging him not to say a word.
You didn’t hide in the flower vase did you? Alondria teased seeing how badly she wanted to hide it.
How will I hide in a small flower vase, why will I even hide in the first place, I was in my room, right Asher? Scarlett asked waving her left hand as her right hand was still on Asher’s mouth.
But Asher only shook his head letting her know he can’t talk.
Oh, yeah… she said taking her hands off slowly as she gave him a Save Me look.
Asher nodded as he picked up a knife and went to the fridge to pick an apple.
I told you, Scarlet said when Asher nodded.
Then Asher pointed at the small space behind the fridge,i found the little rat hiding here, he said and they all burst into laughter..
Asher! You lied to me! Scarlet yelled hiding her face.
Come on I didn’t lie to you, I didn’t say that I won’t talk.
Leave me alone, you were supposed to be on my side,Scarlet whined.
He was on your side but you chose to hug the fridge instead, Alondria teased laughing so hard.
It seems hugging the fridge seems better than hugging my dear friend,Jared added.
Really? Is thay why you hid behimd the fridhe, my body doesn’t feel good to you anymore? Asher asked showing a hurt expression.
I h@ťě you all! Scarlet whined with a pout as she wiped the invicible teras off her face then ran off dramatically.
You have a lot of work too Buddy, go meet your rat, she might be under the bed this time, Alondria teased.
She’s such a drama queen, Jared pointed out as Asher jogged out laughing.
She’s very sweet too, Alondria said facing her cooking.
But you are the sweetest, Jared teased hugging her from behind.
Don’t start, I’m cooking, Alondria whined
We can switch off the gas and have a good time, don’t you think? Jared whispered.
Jay, aren’t you tired?

What the hell! Alondria exclaimed laughing, I didn’t sign up for death please.

Dad called, he said.
What did he say? Is he finally coming back? Alondria asked in excitement and Jared shook his head.
He said he will promote your new song when it gets released later today and the concert, he will be coming back tomorrow for it, Jared said
Really? Wow, I can’t wait to see him, Alondria exclaimed happily but she noticed Jared didn’t seem happy
What’s wrong Jay? she asked holding his cheek.
They got divorced already, mom signed her own part of the divorce letter, Jared said sadly.
I’m so sorry, Sarah must be sad.
I know but I don’t blame dad, I’m not sure I can leave the woman I love for so many years when my heart is still with her, he did a great job being a good father and a husband, I don’t blame him for deciding to give up now, He’s human, Jared said.
I guess so, it must have been hard for him.
I wouldn’t do that if i was in his shoes, no, i can’t leave you, Jared replied kissing her lips.
Even if Natalia or one of your whores comes back pregnant? Alondria asked.
That’s not possible, i made sure to avoid that, Jared replied.
I hope so, i have to go see your mom later today, will you come with me? Alondroa asked.

Ruby got down from her car which she bought few days back.
The bakery was progressing more than usual and she even opened another branch in a more developed area and things have been going pretty well.
She was able to afford a not so expensive but nice car.
She was about entering the mall to go buy stuffs for her bakery when her phone rang.
It was Justin.
She leaned on the car as she answered the phone call.
A car passed right before her but because she was distracted, she didn’t notice the car neither did she notice the occupant, nor did she notice that the car crossed to the other side then parked, watching her from there.
Why are we stopping dad? Williams asked Harry.
They were on their way to meet one of their sponsors for a new deal when Harry spotted Ruby.
He couldn’t believe his eyes, he thought she was dead.
She didn’t change one bit and he was sure she isn’t just Ruby’s look alike.
She still looked fierce and young.
She’s the one, he muttered as Willimas followed his eyes.
Oh that’s Summers mom, do you know her? Williams asked

Ruby was still on the call when her eyes zeroed to the passengers in the car across the road.
Harry? She muttered as they stared at each other murderously.

Oh my God Ruby, talk to me! Frightened Justin yelled over the phone.
? You should come back Justin, Harry already saw me and i know he must be planning something, we have no time left anymore,Ruby said through gritted teeth,she was still exchanging eye contact with Harry who was also giving her mean looks as Williams watched in confusion.

You dare disrespect me! Harry growled landing the sixth punch on Williams stomach as his men held him tight.
Williams couldn’t utter a word as all he could do was groan in pain fighting the urge to plead
Its been long he got punished in this manner by his dad, he felt he probably has over grown it but he was wrong.
He’s getting the beating of his life again from the most ruthless man he know just because he refused an assignment for the first time.
Another heavy punch landed on his cheeks this time as he spat out blood which mistakenly touched his dad and that earned him more beatings and degrading words.
So weak!
You can’t do a single job properly, and you have the right to refuse an assignment right on my face? Harry yelled as he sent another heavy punch his sons way.
Argh!!! Williams yelped in pain, I’m sorry, it won’t happen again dad, he pleaded finally.
I’ve been too lenient! Harry growled as he snatched a whip from Williams right hand man as he used the whip on his stomach making Williams yell again.
His body were already filled with red marks and Harry’s hand prints.
His dad glared at him as he groaned in pain.
Find her and bring her to me if you are too weak to ki|| her, Harry said with a murderous look on his face and Williams nodded.
He would be foolish to object again.
Harry glared at him as he took off his gloves then lighted his cigarette blowing the smoke on Williams face.
Williams glared at him but couldn’t utter a word.
Release him, he ordered his men and they left Williams who tried so hard not to fall.
Weakling! You are nothing like your mother, he growled.
Who the hell is my mother! Wilson growled back at him.
She doesn’t matter, Harry said turning his back on him.
Is she alive? I want to look for her, Williaws asked quickly wiping the tears in his eyes before his dad could see it and punish him for crying like a weakling.
He didn’t know what the tears was for, the brutal beating he just received from his own father or the mention of his mother who he has never met.
She is dead, Harry responded coldly then walked away without sparing him a glance.
Williams stared at his back with so much hatred, the momemt he was out of sight he staggered.
Boss, Jesse, Williams right hand man muttered catching Williams before he could fall
Williams wiggled himself out of his hold as he was determined to prove to his dad that he’s not a weakling.
He began walking out of his dads living room enduring the pain he felt in his lower abdomen where he was punched.
Jesse followed behind him as they walked to the car.
Getting to the car Williams looked up, as usual his dad was up there watching him with that degrading look.
Get the others to the house now, we have to ki|| that waman, Williams ordered Jesse the moment they were driven out.

Alondria and Jared were on their way to go see Sarah when they both got the same message from Justin asking them to meet in a hotel downtown.
They quickly turned the car towards the hotels direction sensing the urgency.
Ruby too left home in her car to the meeting place, she was driving to the hotel when a car bumped into hers.
What the hell! she groaned putting her car to a halt as she went to check on the person who bumped into her.
The driver also came out.
Ruby’s car was scratched badly as her headlight broke already, infuriating her.
What the hell is this? she half yelled seeing the unexpected damages caused by the car behind her.
The driver only stared rudely at her
Not even a sorry? How am I supposed to take this to where I’m going? She yelled.
The other occupants of the car watched the little drama from inside the car.
Why are you yelling? Do you know who my boss is? the driver yelled back.
I thought as much, why am I even talking to a mere driver, where’s your boss? Ruby asked walking to the owners side of the car in search of his boss as the driver chased after her trying to stop her .
On getting to the door Ruby didn’t need to knock as the occupant was already staring at her.
Williams? Ruby called shocked.
What’s the problem with you? Why are you yelling? Williams asked rudely taking Ruby who wasn’t expecting his reaction aback.
But being Ruby she was quick to take all sentimental aside remembering he was with Harry when they saw her earlier.
He must have been fed some lies, she thought.
She was about giving him a dose of his own medicine when she saw the marks on his face and how swollen it was.
What happened to your face? she asked in a worried tone.
And how is that your business? Williams growled rudely.
Ruby narrowed her eyes at Jesse who nodded stylishly.
You need to get those treated, you look horrible, Ruby pointed out.
What the hell! Is it money you want? Is this your way of begging? Get off the way, Greg, take this car out of here! Williams ordered the driver as he growled in pain.
Ruby stared at Williams as she stylishly touched her hair and her hairpin fell off then she bent to pick it up, luckily the traffic light switched to red and they had to wait for a while before moving the car.
She quickly did what she wanted to do then went over to her car I’m front of Williams pretending to inspect it as she did something else too.
When she was sure she got what she wanted, she asked back into her car waiting for the traffic as she texted Justin.
The traffic light finally changed to green and they moved even before she could start her car.
She followed behind them slowly trying not to act suspicious as she stayed far from them allowing other cars pass hers
When she almost lost hope, she saw their car come to a halt and the driver stepped out with Jesse.
Finally, she muttered as she still maintained her speed till she got to them.
Is there a problem? She asked from her car as she stopped right where could talk to Williams who was groaning in pain
It was like the pain was becoming hard to bear.
What the hell is going on! Williams snapped when his men were taking time.
Its the tyres, one at the back and one at the front, they are deflated, Jesse announced making Williams punch the seat in front of him angrily.
Need my help? Ruby asked.
f-__-k off! Williams growled
Smirking, Ruby parked her car at the other side of the road then she walked over to Williams.
Williams who didn’t see her felt he was alone as he unbottened his shirt revealing his bare body
What the hell happened to you? Ruby asked grabbing the door handle as she threw the door open.
Get out, he growled angrily as he tried to cover his clothes but Ruby slapped his hands off.
You should come in my car, let’s take you to the hospital.

Tell that to the birds, Ruby said to his face.
First aid, ointment, anyone? she asked Jesse making sure not to mention his name.
Ointment, Jesse replied eyeing her as he searched for it while contacting their mechanic.
He threw it carelessly at her then searched for spirit and cotton wool, handed it carelessly to her then stepped out to make a call.
Don’t touch me! Williams growled pulling out his gun…
Maybe $h00ting her directly on the head right now will help prove to his dad that he’s worthy of being his son.
Just shut up, Ruby replied ignoring his gun.
She moved close to him opening the ointment.
I said f-__-k off! Williams growled pointing the gun at her but she was faster with her own gun which she used in knocking his off then clutched his collar.
What the….
Its a silencer, she told him with a smile, nobody will know I used it on you, she said and he glared at her weakly.
Stop being noisy and let me treat you, I am not the enemy here, Ruby said releasing his shirt.
As expected, he didn’t fight, he only glared at her as she carefully used the spirit and cotton wool to clean the open wounds as Williams tried not to make a sound.
Trying so hard to act strong huh? she asked without looking at him.
Shut up! he snapped and Ruby ignored him.
She intentionally added pressure to the wound and he half yelled before he could stop himself and Ruby chuckled earning a glare from him.
She finished cleaning the wound then applied the ointment carefully as Wiliams watched her.
Done now, you should be careful from now on, she advised.
You are not my mother! he snapped again.
You would have been better off with a mother than a horrible father, Ruby replied nonchalantly stepping down.
What is that supposed to mean!
Heal, its going to be a long week, she said tucking her gun back in then walked away knowing he still won’t $h00t her.
She got into her car and drove off to her destination feeling fulfilled.
