THE NEXT MORNING
Alondria who usually woke up on time was still sleeping even when it was already 11pm.
Jared and Asher were already awake, the pains were still there but they didn’t look weak anymore.
Williams wants to meet with your wife tomorrow, he already sent her a text, Asher said his face buried on the laptop before him….
Jared frowned as he recalled what Williams said to him the previous day.
“I can’t let you or anyone associated with you die a peaceful death, I will make sure i torture you till you start to beg for death then i will rape your wife to death right before your eyes, how do you see that”
What’s wrong? Asher asked looking at his friend who had a very angry expression on his face.

Okay, Asher replied picking io his phone to make calls.
Jared’s phone vibrated, it was a message from his mom inviting him and his wife for dinner.
Mom still won’t let me be, he complained sitting down.
But his mind was stuck on Williams statement, not like he was scared of Williams but he was scared his wife must trust him to be that cool with him.
Hurry Asher, hurry!
His mind drifted to the files he copied from her phone.
I’m sure there is nothing interesting in there, he thought relaxing
He concentrated on his office work while Asher worked on gathering all information’s about Alondria.
Being a very private person he h@ťěd going to work he preferred working from home.
To him going to work everyday is for normal men, he isn’t.
No one at his office knows what he looks like except for the board members who saw him when he was introduced as the new CEO after Mr Justin.
A soft knock was heard on the door distracting them both, Asher had to get the door aince he knew Jared would ignore.
It was Kurt at the door.
Is there a problem? Asher asked
I need to speak with the boss, he answered professionally.
Its your PA man, Asher called out yo Jared while standing at the door making sure he doesn’t even get a glimpse.

Come find out Yourself, Asher saod still blocking the door With his body.
What ever is done in this room is between him and Jared, even Kurt as his P.A didn’t seem to know.
Jared has to deop his latop then walked out.
Asher left the door letting Jared pass before naming the door.
Kurt was able to get a little glimpse but all he saw was the laptop Jared was working with.
Outside, Jared stood waiting for him to talk.
I was wondering if you need a bed warmer sir, you haven’t had one for more than 24hours, he stated making Jared look at him with inreadable face.
You want to get me one? Jared asked studying his countenance.

Its okay, that’s very considerate of you Kurt but I’m very busy right now, I will beep you when I need one, Jared replied..
Yes boss, Kurt replied disappointed as he turned to leave.
Wait, Jared called out to him and he paused fearfully.
Jared pulled out his wallet and gave all the cash in there.
You should go have fun, I won’t be needing you till tomorrow, he said shocking his P.A.
It wasn’t the first time giving him money but giving a whole day leave without him asking was surprising.
Thanks boss, he replied with a bow the ran off like Jared was going to determine his betrayal by just standing beside him..
Jared watches him till he was out of site the he turned around to leave only to notice Alondria watching him.
It seems he is not entirely a bad boss, She said walking towards him.
Jared rolled his eyes
Why didnt you go out? he asked
You want me out of the house badly huh? Tell me ate your whores coming over today?
Do I need to go clean up your whoring room boss? she asked with a mischievous smile on her face.
Jared frowned when he remembered what she did the last time, the last thing he would do is intentionally accept any favour from her

My phone Shame! she called out to hom and he stopped.

Its project taunt him for the rest of the day, she thought as she followed him like a clown

Wow… I actually came to call you for breakfast….oh lunch since I woke up pretty late, she yelled running after him.
The maids who saw her chasing after him couldn’t help but chuckle secretly
You must be crazy to think I will have lunch with you, he replied walking to the kitchen as she followed him.
I have been crazy all my life that’s why I know you are having lunch with me, she replied
He snubbed her as he took out water from the fridge ,opened it and began gulping the content.
He was hungry but eating with her is a no no for him, he would rather stay hungry.
Alondria didn’t stop talking even as he ignored her.
I think i just have to have lunch with Asher instead, she said dialing his numer on her phone.
Jared simply rolled his eyes as she spoke to Asher asking him to come have lunch with her.
Thinking she made the call up he burst out laughing, so you would stop so low to make a fake call just to get to me huh?
You are crazy indeed, he said with his hands crossed over his chest.
To him Alondria didn’t have his friend’s number so there was no way that called was real.
Alondria only smirked as she took out two bottles of water and two glasses then walked to the table were the meals were leaving Jared who had to stop laughing as he was ignored
Jared stood and finished his bottle of water before dumping the empty bottle in the trash can.
Don’t worry,I will go get it, he heard Asher say.
When did he come downstairs, he wondered.
Just then Asher rushes into the kitchen like a toddler sent on an errand, without acknowledging him he rushed to the fridge taking out a big bottle of milk then rushed out again to go meet Alondria…
Aww, you are a darling, you didn’t waste any time at all, Alondria complimented when he got out knowing Jared could hear them.
Oh that, I’m very fast with everything, he bragged with a wink as Alondria blushed.
The maid wanted to serve them when Alondria stopped her…
I’ll do it, she said standing up.
You should sit Princess, let me do it, Asher replied like a gentleman making Alondria blush again as she watched him serve her
Jared stood at the kitchen door watching as his friend who was supposed to be tracking Alondria’s history is here flirting with her instead.
And to think his wife is busy blushing and calling someone else a darling?
It feels like we are in a date, don’t you think? Alondria asked with a smile and Asher agreed immediately.
Jared couldn’t take it anymore, he left the kitchen door open and began walking towards them.
What are you doing out here Asher, he asked with a growl hoping to scare his loyal friend.
Oh its your friend Asher, whats his name again? Alondria said pointing at Jared whose brow folded in anger.

SAS called me to come have lunch with her, I was tired of working anyways, Asher replied feigning innocence
She asked you once and you couldn’t refuse? Are you that cheap? Jared asked not bothering to hide his anger.
How could Asher let himself be lured to dinner with just a phone call?
Its not being cheap Shame, its him being a gentleman, only people called Asher knows how to treat a woman, especially a wife, she said in the most innocent voice.
Asher almost choked on his food hearing her say that.

Sarah wild have paired me with this gentleman instead, I would have been swimming in the ocean of love by now if she did, she replied with a dreamy look.
Asher chuckled earning a glare from his friend who was very mad at him.
Almighy Jared was rendered speechless, she would prefer falling in love with Asher instead?

Before he could think of what to say to make her believe he isn’t bothered she was already eating and discussing with his friend.
None of them looked at him again as he stormed out of their presence angrily.

Nothing he was working on seemed interesting anymore, his whole mind was on the look on his wife’s face when she said she would have been happy to be paired with Asher instead.
To think Asher is single and a better version of him, why won’t she fall for him, he thought.
