” Eduardo?” Menodora called shocked.
Mariano ruffled his hair and took few steps closer to Eduardo.
” Why did you do that?” He asked, staring directly into Eduardo’s eyes.
Eduardo looked away, feeling a little guilty.
The girl he thought he was trying to save was d@mn shocked at what he did and that made him realize Mariano did nothing to her.

“You said you don’t like her, so why?” Mariano asked, his tone reflecting anger.
Menodora quickly went between them.
” Mariano, stop ” She said.
” You… Do you like her?”Eduardo finally asked, pulling Menodora behind him.
” Like her?? Yeah, I do” He replied and Eduardo’s eyes widened.
” So I’m gonna return the punch” He balled his fist.
“No Mariano!” Menodora held his fist.
” But he punched me, I won’t let this slide” He shouted and She flinched back slightly.
” Do what you want then… I thought you both were friends” She shouted which made Mariano scoff.
” Friends? I doubt that. He just proved to me that I’m not his friend” Mariano yelled as he raised his balled fist.
Menodora’s eyes widened.
Eduardo didn’t move as he closed his eyes, waiting to receive the punch but none came.
When he opened his eyes, Mariano flicked his forehead instead and chuckled.
” Jeez, that was one painful punch Eduardo” He smiled, taking his shirt from the bed while Menodora stared at him unbelievably.
“ What just happened”
She looked at Eduardo.
” Good morning ” She greeted him with a smile and he nodded, guilt eating him up.
” I made breakfast, so I came to call him and you know how dirty he talks right? I know you were trying to help but I would have handled the diçkhead myself” She smiled. That only made Eduardo even more guilty.
She stood on her toes and leaned in, Mariano didn’t say a word as he sat on the bed, staring at them.
” I know you thought he wanted to rape me, but no matter what happens, since he’s your friend, hear his part of the story first before you conclude. I don’t wanna be the reason for the misunderstanding between you both” She smiled before looking at Mariano.
” I’ll be waiting at the dining” She said and made to leave.
” Are you playing favorite right now? You stood on your toes to talk into his ears, why aren’t you doing the same for me? You’re afraid I’ll kiss you?” Mariano asked.
“Jerk!” She glared and left the room. Mariano’s gaze moved to Eduardo who walked over to the bed and sat too.
” I’m sorry man, I lost it for a while”
“Are you obsessed with her too?” Mariano asked.
“I don’t know… I’m not sure why I did that” He replied.
“It’s fine, but next time I won’t hold back. You almost destroyed my pretty face… Tell me, did you learn wrestling last night?” Mariano laughed.
“You like her?” Eduardo asked.
” Nah, I’m just attracted to her and I find it fun getting on her nerves”
“You got wounded on the neck?” Mariano asked after seeing the bandaid.
” Yeah, got a scratch..”
” You should be careful dude”
“What about your arm?” Eduardo asked, staring at the bandage on Mariano’s arm.
” A bastard attacked me two nights ago, I would’ve taught him a great lesson, but the motherf_cker ran off” Mariano replied, leaving the room while Eduardo followed behind.
They got to the sitting room and met Steve and Menodora talking and laughing.
” Are they close?” Mariano asked, his gaze on Menodora. She looked really beautiful with the way she laughed, revealing her dimple.
” I don’t know how they became friends” Eduardo replied as they made their presence known.
” You guys are here” Menodora stood up and went to them.
“Hope you both settled your differences?” She asked but they walked pass her to the dining.
” Aren’t you both gonna join us?” Eduardo asked.
Mendora rolled her eyes, she turned to Steve who stood up reluctantly and followed her to the dining.
They sat round the table and started eating.
Eduardo and Steve kept stealing glances at Menodora but Mariano’s eyes were fixed on her.
” You want your eyes plugged out?” She glared and Mariano giggled.
“You know I can’t look away, fluffy àss” He smiled shrewdly.
Steve looked at him.
“Fluffy what?”
” Table manners, Kiddo” Mariano faced Steve who scoffed.
“I h@ťě you..” He mumbled.
” Hmm, you’re free to do that” Mariano replied.
“You both!” Eduardo cautioned.
” Wh@ťěver ” Steve rolled his eyes while Menodora watch them in confusion.

∆∆ DORIAN’S APARTMENT°°
Dorian yawned loudly, stepping down from the bed.
She spread her arms wide and started going down slowly, still in that position, she stood up slowly.
She did it seven times before stretching out.
” Gosh, it’s been long I work out” She muttered, leaving her room.
“Dorian, you can’t keep living here without a job.. your money and resources would run out soon” She slumped on the couch.
” Should I work part-time at a cafe? Restaurant?”
“Gosh, none fits me” She sighed, taking her phone.
“Should I call Dora for advice?? Nah, she’s my younger sister, so I should surprise her instead” She tossed her phone away.
“ Hey! It’s just five months difference” Dorian laughed immediately Menodora’s favorite line rang in her ears.
” I miss her” She mumbled and her stomach grumbled loudly.
” Yeah, let’s eat something while missing her” She said, rubbing her stomach for a while before leaving the couch to the kitchen to make breakfast.

Jesse had a smile on as he watch her do her thing.
” Will you come to the clubhouse tonight?” She asked, tasting her own Com.
“Hmm” He hummed a reply.
” I’ll wait for you then.. I’ll be there” Gladys smiled.
“I want something different Gladys” He stated.
“Anything ” She smiled.
“What about a threesome with your clubmates?”
“Huh?”
“It’s business while in the club, but in my house, it’s just you. Moreover you haven’t told me you love me” He said.

” It’s a favor ” Jesse cut it. “ Do me that favor, please”
“Alright, but your attention must be on me okay?” She said and he chuckled.

” I thought….” She trailed off.
“You thought?”
“Nevermind.. today should be the only time okay?” She said and he nodded before disconnecting the call.
” That’s too much, Jesse. How do you expect me to share you with those foøls?” She wondered, feeling nettled.
“I’ll make sure none of them have him. Jesse is mine and no one can take him away from me” She muttered, determined.
