<< Resort>>
“Where… where could they had gone to, please let’s look for them.” Emma said worriedly.
“Don’t worry, I will go look for them.” Liam said and Amelia looked at him.
*Really,he is going to risk his life for her now.* Amelia said inwardly and she scoffed.
“I will go with you.” Oliver said.
“No, Steve will come along.” Liam said and Steve nodded.
Oliver glared at Liam in anger as he ignored him. Steve and Liam immediately swap into action and they went to look for them.
They began to look for them inside and all around the resort but they couldn’t find them.
“Let’s go towards the forest or else where.” Steve said and Liam nodded.
As they were going, Liam gazed at Steve’s face before asking him a question.
“Who are you doing this for, Matilda or Lily.” Liam asked.
“What do you mean, am just helping you out.” Steve said.
“Really? That’s a lie, just tell me the truth already.” Liam said.
“Fine, you caught me. It’s Lily, I like her a lot.” Steve said.
“Wow, nice choice. Happy for you.” Liam said and he chuckled.
They spotted a forest and they went towards it calling out Matilda and Lily’s name loudly.

Matilda and Lily were just roaming around the forest trying to find a way out with Lily clutching onto Matilda’s arm fearfully.
“Why, why had we come here in the first place.” Lily said crying.
“Don’t worry okay? Am with you.” Matilda said patting Lily’s hair.
They walked forward and they noticed a snake was following them. Lily was still staring around when she sighted the snake and she freaked out.
“Arrrrrrgh.” Lily shouted.
“Lily, what’s wrong?” Matilda asked and she pointed to the snake.
“Stay away Lily.” Matilda said as she held her hand and they started running.
They ran as fast as they could but the met up with them and bit Matilda’s leg before crawling away.
“Arrrrrrgh.” Matilda shouted.
“Matilda, Matilda. Somebody help.” Lily said crying.
Just then, Steve and Liam heard the scream and they trace it. They got there to see Matilda in Lily’s hand with blood oozing out from Matilda’s leg.
“Matilda, Matilda. What’s happened to her.” Liam said as they ran towards them.
“She… she had been bitten by a snake.” Lily said with tears in her eyes.
“What! Snake?”. Liam said as he tried to find the spot.
He found the spot and he started using his mouth to ooze out the blood from the spot before tying a piece of cloth on it. Just then, Lily fainted.
“Lily, Lily!” Steve called as Lily fell in his arm.
“She passed out, common let’s carry them back to the resort.” Liam said and he nodded before they carried them.
“But you might faint before we get there .” Steve said.
“Don’t bother, I will manage.” Liam said and he nodded.

They all waited worriedly for them outside and a girl shouted upon seeing them. The teachers had figured out what’s happened as they explained it all to them.
” Look,they are here.”
All of them stood up Immediately as they brought them towards the students.
👥: Liam is carrying the tomboy
👥: That’s unlike him,he even volunteered to go look for them
Some of the students murmured among themselves while Amelia just gritted her teeth angrily.
” What’s happened to them.” One of the teachers asked.
” Matilda had been biting by a snake though I had did some kinds of things to ooze out the blood while she… She fainted.” Liam said and he fainted, they all gasped.
” I will call a doctor.”
<< An hour later>>
The doctor had checked on both of them and they had fell asleep, After an hour, Matilda woke up.
She opened her eyes slowly to see that she was weak.
” Arrgh, why am I so weak?” Matilda muttered as she saw Emma walked towards her worriedly.
” You have finally woken up,thank goodness.” Emma said.
” What had happened to me and Lily?” Matilda said and she looked at sleeping Lily besides her.
” What happened to Lily, I..had been bitten by a snake and… Who saved us and how did we end up here.” Matilda said.
” Liam and Steve saved you both, Liam had ooze out the snake poison with his mouth so he had fainted.” Emma said.
“What! Liam saved me, where is he now?” Matilda asked.
“He is resting in his room.” Emma said and Matilda stood up Immediately.
“Where are you going.” Emma asked.
“To see him.” Matilda said.
“But…” Emma didn’t get to complete her statement before Matilda went out.

Liam also woke up to see his friends looking at him worriedly.
“You are awake.” Steve said.
“Where’s Tilda, I mean Matilda.” Liam said.
“She is still in her room.” Elliot responded.
Liam immediately got down from the bed and Oliver raised his brows.
“Where do you think you are going.” Oliver said.
“To Meet her.”
“But you are still weak.” Steve said.
“Don’t bother about me, and please none of you should try and stop me.” Liam said before going out of the room.
Matilda saw Liam and Liam saw Matilda and they walked closer to each other.
“Thank God you are fine, why huh, why did you have to risk your life to save mine. What were you thinking tell me, don’t you ever try that again, do you know how worried I was when I heard you saved me, Don’t ever…” Matilda was cut short by a hug from Liam.
“Shhhh, you talk too much.” Liam said softly and release her.
“I was worried.” Matilda said and Liam smiled.
“How are you now, hope you aren’t feeling that weak?” Liam said.
“Am fine, thank you so much.” Matilda said.
“You are welcome.” Liam said before they gazed into each other eyes.
“Now go rest because you still need more strength to fight especially with me.” Liam said and she Chuckled.
“Okay.” Matilda said.
Matilda was still going when she stopped immediately and ran to hug him again.
“Thank you.” Matilda said softly.
“It’s okay, now go.” Liam said.
“Bye.” She said as she waved and he waved back.

After she had gone, Oliver came out of his hide place. He had been watching them all through and was fuming with anger.
“Liam, what do you think you are doing huh?” Oliver said angrily.
“What did I do.” Liam shrugged.
“I know you are just playing with her emotions and I won’t allow that. You know I like her,so stop with these act you are trying to play. She doesn’t like playboys, do you think you can make her fall for you?” Oliver stated.
“Well,if it’s about that,am willing to stop being a play boy just for her but I won’t stop anything am doing.” Liam said and Oliver’s anger increased.
“If you try that,just know that our friendship will be broken for life.” Oliver said and walked away. Liam just scoffed.
