CHAPTER 32~33

Pascal’s eyes widened but it was just for a
second, he started kissing her back
immediately.
He was dreaming about this so he can’t waste
this opportunity before she would change her
mind.
He supported her head with his hand as their
lips played gently on each other.
She suddenly broke the kiss but Pascal
reconnected back their lips.
He started stroking her hair, and he bit her
tongue, she released a low MΓ΅@Ι² into his
mouth.
She didn’t know when her hands went into his
hair, and she began stroking.
She couldn’t believe that he would be such a
good kisser. Now she knows behind the calm
and gentle features he got, he’s a pervert and a
naughty boy pretending.
She wanted more but when the thought of him
being her student and her being older crossed
her mind and she broke the kiss. She thought it
was wrong kissing him this way.
She broke the kiss but Pascal didn’t stand up
from her, his eyes were on her as she was
looking back at him.
He stared speechlessly at her, waiting for what
she would say.
Her throat moved as she swallowed.
She cleared her throat after one minute.
“I’m sorry” She said.
“Why?” He asked.
“For kissing you, it was a mistake” She said and
looked away.
Pascal felt hurt by what she said but he didn’t
show it.
“Then you shouldn’t have kissed me if you were
going to say that” He snapped, and stood up
from her body.
“I’m..
“You don’t have to feel bad, I understand” He
said and shifted away from her.
“I don’t know you are this scared of horror
movies” She said, changing the topic.
“Good night” He stood up and walked away.
Josephine watched him till he disappeared out
of sight, and she sighed.
<NEXT MORNING>
Josephine woke up but her mind was filled with
the memory of how she kissed Pascal her, it
wasn’t the other way round, she kissed him
herself.
“What really came over me, how could I lose my
senses at that moment? I senselessly said yes
when he asked me if I want him to kiss the other
day and yesterday I kissed him, you better ki||
anything you are growing for him Josephine,
you are older and way out of his league, you are
also his teacher”
“I hope he won’t take it seriously” She exhaled
before stepping into her bathroom.
She walked to the living room and she met
Pascal in his uniform.
“Pascal” She called surprisingly. For the past
few days now they have been going to school
together and seeing him already dressed was
surprising to her.
“Good morning” He responded without looking
at her.
“I made breakfast, see you later Miss
Josephine” He said and walked out.
She wanted to say something but she stopped
and allowed him to leave.
“Is he avoiding me now because of what
happened yesterday? I shouldn’t have done that,
I’m so stupid. Or was he hurt?” She sighed.
“He’s even avoiding my face, why does it bother
me a lot?” She said and went into the kitchen.
She dished out what he cooked but when she
tried eating it, she remembered the dull look on
his face and for the fact that he wasn’t cheerful
with her made her lose her appetite.
“Gosh!! I can’t be growing feelings for him, this
must be an infatuation” She mumbled.
<THE GIANT>
Mindy’s car stopped in front of the company
and she came out of her car.
This is her father’s company and she is next in
line to take over but she isn’t yet ready to handle
responsibility. She wants to be free for now.
The guards started bowing for her but she
frowned and stopped.
“All of you come here” She said and the guards
rushed to her.
“Ma’am do you need anything?” They asked.
“I already told you guys to stop bowing when
you see me, please, and miss will be okay, I
know I’m Joseph’s daughter but that’s not a big
deal” She flashed them a smile and walked in.

The guards started talking good about her.
Mindy bumped into someone, and the papers
the person was holding scattered to the floor.
“Oh! No, I’m sorry” She quickly apologized and
bent down to pick the papers.
“You don’t have to say sorry, I’m at fault too”
The guy said and bent to pick the papers.
They picked the papers and when they looked
they gasped out.
“You” She smiled.
It was the guy who gave her a lift when her car
broke down.
“We meet again” He smiled.
“What are you doing here?” She asked.
“I work here, a typist” He replied.
“Wow! That’s great”
“So what about you? Here to look for a job,
there’s a vacancy tho” He asked and she smiled.
“I’m Joseph’s daughter” She replied and he
gasped.
“Your dad is the owner of this company, I’m
sorry ma’am, pardon my rude manners”
“Seriously? Do you have to do that?” She
laughed.
“I’m Julius” He said, stretching a hand.
“Mindy” She said and shook hands with him.
“Nice meeting you, hope we can meet again?”
“Sure” She smiled and took her hand from him.
“Bye” He smiled and walked away.
Mindy smiled and entered the elevator.
<SPRINGFIELD HIGH SCHOOL>
The lecture going on in the class currently is
Biology and the students are paying maximum
attention to Josephine. She’s loved by the
students so they are always eager to get
something from her lecture.
It was hard for her and Pascal anytime their
eyes met. It would bring back the memory of
last night, particularly the kiss.
Josephine was trying her best to concentrate on
what she was teaching but Pascal wasn’t.
He was hurt by her words and that left a print on
his heart. Maybe it was right for her to say it.
What was he expecting from her? Maybe he’s
thinking ahead of him but why did she kiss
him? He can’t stop thinking about it, he’s going
crazy because of her and she had to do that…
It’s like a torture to him anytime their eyes would
meet.
Josephine left the class even before her time.
“Are you okay?’ Nathan asked.
“What do you mean?” Pascal replied.
“Did you have a quarrel with Josephine?”
Nathan asked.
“No, why?”
“You weren’t concentrating in class and she was
looking at you, she was trying to concentrate”
“She kissed me last night”
“What!!!” Nathan gasped loudly and the
students faced him.
“Oh! It’s nothing” He smiled before facing
Pascal.
“So what happened after the kiss?”
“She told me it was a mistake” Pascal said, just
repeating the words hurt him.
“I now understand, I don’t know what to say, I
don’t know if she’s feeling what you are feeling
for her but don’t be hard on yourself okay”
Nathan said and patted him.
Pascal nodded and they smiled.
<LAURENT’S OFFICE>
Laurent was discussing with a student in his
office when a knock came on the door.
He stopped talking and his eyes went to the
door.
“Come in” He said.
The door opened and Josephine came inside.
Laurent stood up from his chair immediately.
“Leave” He told the student.
The boy met Josephine at the door, he greeted
her and walked out.
“Josephine” He smiled.
“Laurent Lawrence, the only son of Kennedy
Lawrence, the heir to K- WEB” She said, and
Laurent’s eyes widened. How did she find out?
“How did…
“I know you are aware of who I’m right now,
Josephine Kings” She interrupted.
“I found out last night” He smiled.
Josephine walked to him, and they held eyes.
“I know you are also aware of what our parents
are planning?” She asked but he didn’t reply.
“Let me be straight, they are planning an
arranged marriage for us and I’m not interested,
I hope you ain’t interested too?” She said.
“Sorry but I’m interested, we can get to know
each other more” He said.
“I like you but I don’t have anything for you so
better let’s not push this further”
“I like you even without knowing who you were”
He said.
“You will only get hurt,so stop it” She said and
without wasting time, she walked out.
“I can’t Josephine, I fall you on the first day, I
would do everything to make you like me back”
He muttered determinedly.
<10PM>
Pascal got back to the house after spending
time with Nathan. It really helped to clear his
head from the kiss.
He came back very late,
He was hoping he wouldn’t meet Josephine in
the living room but she was already sitting on
the couch. She couldn’t sleep without seeing
him. She was worried about him. He avoided her
the whole day and that was taking a chokehold
on her.
He stopped when he saw her in the living room
and he tried hard not to replay the scene in his
head.
“Where are you coming from?” She asked.
“Nathan’s place” He replied and started going in
but she stood up and pulled him back.
“Why are you avoiding me?” She asked.
“I’m not avoiding you”
“You did, I know when you are happy with me,
you went to school even before me, you didn’t
come to my office to disturb me again, you left
the house even without telling me, I was worried
all day, I got your number from Mindy when she
came here but you didn’t pick any of my calls,
and now you are coming back by 10pm” She
said at once.
“I’m sorry” He said.
“Is that all you are going to say?” She asked but
he muted.
“I’m sorry for…
“I know the kiss was a mistake, you won’t kiss
me in your right senses, you are older and I’m
your student, and I’m not even in your league,
I’m at fault for thinking it was something
serious….”
Josephine suddenly grabbed his face and
kissed his lips, shutting him up. His eyes came
wide and he almost gave in in the kiss but he
broke it.
“What are you doing? You kissed me yesterday
and said it was a mistake and now you are
kissing me again, do you think it’s funny playing
with me?” He snapped.
“I want to repeat the mistake again” She smiled.
“Huh!!!” He blinked.
Before he could know it she kissed him again,
taking him by surprise.
She started feasting on his lips but he controlled
himself so hard from kissing her back, and that
made her break the kiss.
She looked into his eyes and he stared back.
“Kiss me back, please” She whispered in a tiny
voice.
