CHAPTER 11~12

Pascal’s heart was doing high jumps as she snuggled more on his chest, his heart was already moving to his mouth as she hugged him.
He laid there momentarily unmoved, he was not thinking straight as his senses were shut.
For almost a minute he was just laying there on the bed with her on his chest.
His hands suddenly started moving and he looked down at her, she was sleeping and the way she was so cute made his heart jump higher. Is she always this cute while sleeping?
She was pouting in her sleep and he couldn’t deny he felt the urge to… Gosh! What’s he thinking?
He suddenly felt the urge to stroke her hair but he was trying hard controlling himself, she was so adorable that he couldn’t stop, his fingers moved to her hair and he started stroking her hair gently.
She hugged him tighter and he froze immediately, he really needed to get out of here.
She would be mad if she found them in this position.
He slowly moved out of the bed and luckily she turned away from him and lay on the other side.
He stood up and stared at her, he covered her with the duvet before walking to the door. He stopped at the door and looked at her before exiting the room.
Clara kept looking at her wristwatch as she waited for him.
She booked the whole place for them tonight, and excitement was gushing through her as she waited impatiently for him.
She invited Landon to a dinner night with her and surprisingly he agreed.
Nothing could be more interesting than this.
“Is he not coming again?” She asked, getting scared already, that he might change his mind. She started rubbing her palms against each other as fear creeped into her heart.
She suddenly started hearing the sound of someone coming in and she turned immediately to see Landon.
She stood up instantly as a big smile appeared on her face.
“Landon” She called sweetly as he got to her.
“Clara” He said and looked around.
“Why’s there no one here?” He asked.
“I booked it for only us” She replied and he looked at her.
“You shouldn’t…
“Can you stop?” She asked calmly and he smiled.
He settled down and she settled down too.
He flashed her a cute smile and she blushed quickly before smiling.
“I thought you changed your mind” She said.
A waiter came there and dropped a menu on the table, and immediately they placed their orders he went back to bring the orders.
“I’m always faithful to my words” He said.
“You look segzy tonight” He said, slowly checking her out.
“You are more handsome” She smiled, and he smiled.
“Do you smile this much or is it because you are with me?” She asked, fondly supporting her chin with her hands.
“You want me to stop smiling?” He questioned.
“No!!! I’m just curious, I don’t usually see you smile in the salon”
“Then you aren’t observant, why do you think I have many customers, I’m always cheerful with them”
“They are there because of your kinkiness” She said with jealousy.
“Are you jealous?” He teased.
“I’m not” She rolled eyes.
“You don’t expect me to be frowning when no one forced me here” He said and she smiled.
“Won’t you tell me about your ex?” She suddenly asked and he looked at her but he didn’t say a word.
“You don’t have one?”
“You ain’t expecting a yes from me right?” He replied.
The waiter came there with the orders and arranged everything on the table before leaving.
“I don’t know”
“I have dated like three times”
“So what caused your last break-up?” She asked.
“We both fell out of love” He replied simply and she laughed.
“Enough about me, tell me about you too”
“I dated like four guys already but the last one cheated on me, I found out he was only after my money and my dad locked him up” She said and he nodded.
“He deserved it though, that was cruel” He said and she smiled.
“I love your smile” She said, looking at him.
“Let’s eat, that’s what we’re here for right?” He smiled.
“Right” She said and they took the cutleries.
Camila stood before her dressing table in the room and leaned her hands on it.
She stared at Nathan’s number and after much thinking she dialed his number.
Her hands were shaking but he quickly answered the call like he was waiting for the call.
“Cami” He said sweetly.
“Nat, how are you?” She asked.
“I’m fine, WBU?” He replied.
“I’m good, you are home right?” She asked and she heard him stifled a laugh.
“Where would I possibly be if not home?” He replied and she chuckled.
“Hope I’m not disturbing you with calls?” She asked slowly.
“No, I’m fine with you calling me, you are my biggest fan” He said jovially and she smiled.
“It has been a long time since you released another song, when are you releasing another song?” She asked but what she got was silence.
She bit her lips thinking she got him angry or something. Was the question that bad?
She heard a sigh for him before he talked again.
“I’m not sure but when I’m ready I will tell you, good night” He said and hung up.
“He hung up, didn’t I say something bad? Is he angry at me?” Camila said, taking her lower lip in.
“Talking with your crush?” Manon asked from behind and Camila flinched.
“Ahhhh!!” She screamed and looked back to see Manon leaning on the door with a smirk on her lips.
“Sis” Camila groaned with a glare.
“Do you like that guy?” Manon asked.
“Should I h@ťě him?” Camila questioned.
“You know what I’m saying” Manon smiled.
“Shouldn’t you be worried about yourself? You’re 24 and you are still single” Camila rolled eyes before walking away from the table.
“Taunting me now huh? My prince charming is coming, I’m waiting for him” Manon said.
“I hope you don’t wait till eternity” Camila said and fell on the bed.
“It won’t be bad if you fell for that, perfect combo” Manon winked and walked out.
“I h@ťě you” She yelled and covered herself up but her mind quickly drifted to Nathan.
She sighed before her eyes kissed her cheeks..
Josephine stilled on the bed before moving her body reflexively and her eyes snapped open immediately.
She yawned, covering her mouth partially with her palm.
She looked around her room and sighed softly.
How did she get here yesterday? She was in the living room. Did she come here herself? But how is that possible?
And why was her pillow so soft yesterday? It was comfortable too.
Wait! Did Pascal bring her back to her room? But there’s no way he left the living room before her.
She pulled the duvet away from her and got down.
She stepped into the bathroom and quickly brushed up. She left her room and went to the kitchen.
Nathan was already in the kitchen with his phone on the counter, he was listening to some of Nathan’s songs.
Josephine walked into the kitchen and when she saw him she didn’t know when she smiled.
“Pascal” She called and he looked back from the dishes he was rinsing.
“Good morning” He smiled handsomely.
“Morning, I’m sorry to ask but did you take me to my room yesterday?” She asked and he nodded.
She didn’t say anything again and Pascal figured it didn’t settle well with her.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to but I couldn’t leave you in the living room. It was uncomfortable sleeping on the couch, I….”
“Seriously? Why are you explaining? I’m not mad about it, you didn’t do anything wrong, you acted like a gentleman would do beside I trust you, so c’mon” She smiled.
“You were silent so I thought you got angry” He said.
“And why are you sounding so extra cute today? Are you trying to make me fall?” She smiled and he looked at her.
“My voice is sounding cute?”
“Extra cute, Kiddo” She said and Pascal turned his face away, he quickly hid the blush thr_@tening to tear on his face.
“What are you cook..” She didn’t complete her statement when her phone started ringing and she quickly got it to see Mindy on the screen.
“Mindy”
“Where are you? I’m already waiting for you at the airport” Mindy said and she gasped.
“I’m sorry I’m coming now” Josephine said and hung up.
“I have to pick up my friend at the airport, see you in school, don’t wait for me” She said and made to leave but Pascal held her back.
“Drive safely ok” He said softly.
“I will but stop sounding like my boyfriend” She smiled at him before rushing out.
Pascals smiled as she remembered when she said his voice is cute.
His heart did high jumps and his stomach hollowed.
“I’m going crazy” He muttered gently.
Josephine’s car drove into the airport after some minutes and she sighted Mindy with her luggages.
Just like Josephine, Mindy isn’t from an average background but she h@ťěs showing off just like Josephine, maybe this is why they are best friends.
Mindy isn’t gentle and calm like Josephine but she’s a lovely person.
She drove to where Mindy was and she stopped, she opened the door and immediately she came out Mindy shot a glare at her.
“I arrived ten minutes earlier” Mindy frowned.
“Hey don’t give me that face” Josephine said.
“What! You are not even remorseful?” Mindy frowned.
“Let’s say it’s a payback, remember when I arrived in Paris after coming back from Hollywood, you kept me waiting for 1 hour, I’m merciful to come here” Josephine said.
“I h@ťě you”
“Mutual feelings fool” Josephine fired back.
“Ahhh!!! I’m going crazy already” Mindy screamed loudly.
Josephine ignored her and started loading her luggages in the car trunk.
“I’m already late for school” Josephine said.
“Oh! You’re a teacher!” Mindy mocked.
Josephine got into the car.
“What are you waiting for?”
“Beg me to enter” Mindy said.
“Okay, I’m coming” Josephine started the car and started driving away.
“Josephine” Mindy started running after the car.
Josephine didn’t stop till Mindy ran a distance and when she was close to the car, Josephine slowed down and when Mindy tried entering the car she drove away again.
“Josephine” Mindy called and started shedding tears, she was getting tired already running after the car.
Josephine stopped the car and Mindy entered.
“You’re a she-devil”
“You should be thanking me for giving you a free exercise, you are sweating” Josephine laughed mockingly.
“What” Mindy touched her forehead and met a bead of sweat.
“This is why you will be single forever, I h@ťě you”
“And you will die with no child, I h@ťě you more” Josephine said and they started glaring at each other.
They suddenly started smiling and they hugged each other.
“I missed you” Mindy was the first person to talk.
“I missed you more, I’m learning a bit of your craziness, you should be proud” Josephine said and Mindy chuckled.
It was the third lesson before lunch but the teacher was absent so they were free in the class, the students were behaving like sheep’s with no shepherd.
“So you care to tell me where you were the whole day?” Pascal asked Nathan.
“Yes” Nathan said and told him everything.
“So you have met your soulmate? You are getting a girlfriend before me” Pascal grinned.
“Pascal!! What are you saying? We just met and I went there because of the crazy girls”
“It will soon be more than that, is she pretty?”
“You’re becoming so annoying today, you are crushing on your teacher, I know dude” Nathan fired back with a laugh.
“It’s not a sin to crush on a teacher right?” He defended.
“She’s f_cking three years older, it’s like crushing on your elder sister” Nathan laughed mockingly and Pascal frowned.
“Don’t talk to me again” Pascal said and Nathan laughed.
“You ain’t good at making trouble but you always like to start with me”
“You are bullying me now” Pascal said.
“I’m sorry sweetheart” Nathan said and hugged him but Pascal pushed him away.
The alarm bell rang immediately. It’s lunch time.
“Hi Pascal, can you eat with us?” A group of girls asked.
“I’m sorry girls but Nathan is available” Pascal said and pushed Nathan to them.
The girls grabbed Nathan’s hand immediately.
“Let’s go Nathan” They said and started pulling him away.
Nathan looked back and glared at Pascal.
“I will pay back” He mouthed and Pascal winked.
“Enjoy” He said.
After Nathan left with the girls he stood up and walked out of the class, he started heading to her office. He got to her office and when he raised his hand to knock he stopped him.
“What would I say if she asked me why I’m in her office?” He asked himself and he started scratching his head for a good reason.
He almost gave up but he suddenly heard a familiar voice and he recognized it.
That voice belongs to Laurent.
He was asking her to eat lunch with him and with the way her voice sounded she was definitely going to say yes.
He didn’t know what pushed him but he quickly opened the door and entered.
Laurent looked back immediately.
“Pascal” Josephine stood.
“Sir Laurent” He said and Laurent nodded.
“I’m sorry for not knocking” He apologized.
“It’s fine but don’t do it next time, can you come back later, I’m going out for lunch now” Josephine said and Pascal looked at Laurent.
“I’m sorry ma’am but we keep delaying this, you told me we will conclude it tomorrow, I’m here with the names of the students” Pascal quickly came up with a lie.
Josephine raised her brows in total freaking confusion.
“What names….
“You might forget but the names you asked me to get for pairing of students for the practicals” Pascal replied and she looked more confused.
“Laurent I’m sorry but I will join you at the next lunch” Josephine said.
“It’s ok” Laurent said and looked at Pascal with a displeased look on his face.
He walked out and Pascal smiled widely.
